Luv2eat Thai Bistro Los Angeles Reviews from The Last Year
Best Thai food
We went here on our first night in LA. The walk there wasn’t the best but it was a relief when we arrived to see a packed restaurant. From start to finish the service was brilliant. The food was the best Thai food we have had since we visited Thailand. The portions were huge also .
Good food and great customer service!
I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is well worth it! My husband and I decided to try Luv2Eat one morning. We were looking for somewhere different and this was a great choice!
Cozy restaurant in plaza
Getting there is a bit sketchy but once you find the plaza, you will feel relieved! The portion are big and food was good. The service was very prompt and attentive. The Thai iced tea was great!
I did not like...
I didn't like the restaurant. Already, the menu is huge, several pages... which suggests that almost nothing is really homemade... Impossible to have around fifty "homemade" dishes, or I take my hat off. Regarding the dish, I took the famous "Moo Ping": the meat was not of very high quality and there was a lot of fat. Maybe that's how this dish is prepared, but I just didn't like it...
Very good Thai food. Got it delivered and our order was perfect.
Delicious food delivered to our hotel room. The portions are large and the quality is perfect! We thoroughly enjoyed the food.
Good food, and nice flavours
Came here twice. Once for lunch and once for dinner. The outside looks closed but inside is alright. I really enjoyed the flavours for each dish. The portions are large too. The staff were friendly. The seating can be kind of tight but that’s just given the space
Amazing, authentic and fun Thai food!
Wow this place is SO good! I saw it on a food show (“Worth It” maybe?) and I’m very glad I went when I was in LA! The fish cakes were superb and not too oily at all (as they often can be), and the sticky peanut sauce that came with them was to die for. As a main I had the “Shrimp Pad Prik King”. What a spicy treat! Literal perfection. You can tell this food is made with love and skill! Enjoyed the “pink milk” (Nom Yen) too!

I have a notice stating that my bid has been accepted and is awaiting transfer. The reservation is for the 18th, but the “moderator” said he will confirm booking by the 28th. Is this an indicator that I may not have a reservation?

Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
