Very nice contemporary cucine
Nice contemporary version of Italian classics. A lot of past dishes. Very refined taste for all courses. Nice and attentive service. The only negatives were the large abundance of butter in every dish i picked, and the qualities of the desserts
Be the first to ReplyQuality Food and easily located near Fox Theater
The location is located within two blocks of the Fox Theater, making it an excellent choice when attending an event. The menu is compact with really good choices. The duck lasagne, squid ink pasta, and fish were all good. They have a fairly large bar for such a small restaurant. The wine menu is quite pricey. I would like to see more reasonable choices offered under $100 bottle. The service was friendly and attentive.

The food is so savory and delicious! Our server was helpful in making our entree selections. And the ambience was awesome! Can’t wait to return!
Be the first to ReplyDecent food but unprofessional staff
Over all I’d give the food three and a half stars, but the service was very poor. Our waitress was extremely rude and unprofessional, possibly the worse I’ve ever had. Even my teenage boy who usually doesn’t notice anything made a comment. I am surprised how a restaurant that markets itself as an upscale place would hire waiters without proper training.

Great place! Nice bar.Good selection of wine by the glass. Italian cuisine with a modern touch. Try the cold smoke Scallops. or the white truffle pastas.
Be the first to ReplyWonderful dining experience.
Wonderful dining experience with excellent service. All the pasta dishes we tried were phenomenal. The desserts were exceptional. The ice cream sandwich was highlight.
Be the first to ReplyOne of The Best in ATL Right Now
Very good dinner. Good wait staff. Good wine list. Don't skip having at least one pasta dish, since they make it in-house. Everything was interesting, surprising, good flavors. Found street parking nearby. One of the best things is that it wasn't super loud so we could hear each other talk.
Be the first to ReplyPricey but Very Good
Located on Peachtree near the Fox Theatre, Lyla Lila is an attractive and buzzy restaurant. Our server, Mike, was helpful with the menu and gave very good and honest suggestions. We started with cocktails. The Soul Vaccination was overly sweet, but the Monk’s Repose was excellent. For food, we started with the Artichoke appetizer which was delicious and the very nice bread service. The mains were Roast Chicken and Snapper, both top rate. For dessert we had the Ice Cream Sando, a great finish to the meal. Even though the meal was delicious, I felt that the pricing was about 20% higher than I would expect. Nevertheless, I would recommend Lyla Lila and I hope to return.
Be the first to ReplyIncredible Experience at Lyla Lila
The atmosphere is hip and spunky! Loved the 80’s music. The service was impeccable. Starting out we had the bread with butter. The butter was amazing. The broccoli and fennel salad was an absolute hit! For the pasta course we had the duck lasagna, corn and rabbit ravioli, cavatelli, and the cacio e pepe! All of the pastas were incredible. So much so that we couldn’t even rank them! For the entree we had the roasted chicken, porclet, and snapper. All of the dishes were delicious. The snapper melted in your mouth. We will definitely be back!

Outstanding dining experience. We order many different things and shared bites. All of it was prepared to perfection. Snapper was amazing as were the mushrooms and the leek salad. Ice cream sandwich dessert is yummy and fun. Casual atmosphere but sophisticated. Not pretentious. Pleasant staff.

My husband and I ate dinner at Lyla Lila as a belated anniversary meal. We had noted this on our Resy reservation, and both the host and waiter wished us a happy anniversary upon arrival. We ordered wine and prosecco, ciabatta with persimmon butter, duck lasagna and ravioli, and tiramisu and the ice cream sandwich. It was wonderful. I wanted to ask if I could buy a tub of that persimmon butter, it was so good. I wish my portion size for my ravioli had been slightly bigger, because it was a main course that didn't come with meat and wasn't nearly as filling as the duck lasagna that my husband ordered. My only critique for the 'ice cream sandwich' would be to lose the chocolate magic shell coating. It clashed with the flavors of the pistachio gelato and fennel pizzelle and felt cheap. I ended up breaking it open and scraping it away so I wouldn't have to eat it. Otherwise, a great meal with good service and we would come back in a heartbeat.

Great ambiance, the music, the decoration, the food and the service were super goid! The snapper is sooo delicious! The lime cheesecake soooo good! Worth visiting!

Our first night in Atlanta, and we didn’t make a reservation because we didn’t know when we would arrive. The hostess was friendly and accommodating. Our server was knowledgeable and helpful with menu and wine selections. The duck lasagna is simply delightful. Order appetizer size or share. My husband had the pasta with black truffles and that was very good. It has nice ambiance and decor.
Be the first to ReplyLose the attitude
The food - especially the duck lasagne -- was amazing. But the attitude of the hostesses and bartenders has got to go. It was as if they thought we were lucky to be there (paying them $300 for dinner). Almost funny if it wasn't so insulting. We will not be back.
Be the first to ReplyA gustatory journey
Though some of the staff have a bit of an attitude, the culinary experience will overwhelm you. The artichokes are just incredible, grilled leaves covering a perfectly done heart. The duck ragu lasagna will feed a family of four and is a unique eating adventure. Wonderful sommelier who guided us to a wine that paired perfectly to the meal. The pana cotta and the chocolate cake are must desserts that play off of each other fantastically.
Be the first to ReplyShould have been a 5
This is a mixed review. This review could have been a 5. First, the good. The food is great! We were not disappointed. We ate at the bar, and the bartender was awesome. I wish I could remember his name. He was the younger guy who had blondish reddish hair. There was also a lady who helped behind the bar that was great. Both of them made our evening memorable in a very good way. The bad. We made reservations only to find out that they didn’t go through. We had a confirmation number. The hostess said it happens all of the time. She didn’t apologize or offer to help other than sit us at the bar. She walked us over, only to put us in a spot that was reserved. The “other” bar tender (older balding guy) said “You can’t sit there. It’s reserved.” We we’re about 30 seconds from walking about. Thankfully, the awesome bartender said “I’ve got you two seats over here.” This could have easily need a 5+ rating, but it’s hard to overlook the first 5 minutes of our visit.
Be the first to ReplySimply Outstanding!
Everything about this place is great! From the record player playing classic vinyl tunes, to the servers’ attention to detail, to the food, it’s all simply amazing. If you’re a fan of duck, the crispy duck lasagna is a MUST! It’s a huge portion but heats up very well in the oven for an awesome leftover. We will be back!
Be the first to ReplyOk but not impressed
Wine card looked amazing. Service was good. Food was ok, not bad at all but not impressing snd frankly I found it over priced. Nice staff, would have liked to rate it higher but that would not be honest
Be the first to ReplyNice Italian restaurant in Midtown
Nice Italian restaurant in Midtown. House bread comes with salt. Large plate of artichoke to share. Squid ink spaghetti was in the spicy side. The maitake mushrooms and roasted cauliflower were tasteful.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food. Reservations are recommended
Great sourdough bread. I loved the artichokes appetizer: small portion but highly recommended. I ordered a pasta with shrimps with spicy sauce. Definitely a good choice. We sat on a side table and despite the traffic it was fine. Prices are on the high side. There was an empty table near but they did not want to move us. Reservations are recommended. Service was Ok.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent Southern European Influenced Cusine
Chef owner Craig Richards uses his vast experience from many great restaurants across the country at Lyla Lila to create extraordinary, very creative , and very satisfying dishes inspired by the cuisines of Southern Europe. I especially liked the broccoli and fennel salad and the beef and truffle ravioli. The staff was gracious, friendly, informative, and attentive. The atmosphere was fun, lively, attractive and very comfortable.
Be the first to ReplyNot worth the hassle!
We were 15 minutes late due to traffic and struggling to find parking . Ellen called and informed us we must be done by 8:15 PM as many diners were arriving. In desperation we paid $30 for parking (the only other lot we saw was $20 and traffic was too bad to go back to that). We rushed into restaurant and were seated next to the buffet. All night long I had server’s butts in my face, as they loudly sorted silverware and glasses- I felt like I was in the kitchen! The restaurant totally emptied out at Fox show time - we could easily have had cocktails and a decent entree if Ellen hadn’t been so officious. The food has many complex ingredients, but we didn’t think it was that tasty. I wouldn’t waste your time trying to get a reservation on Resy!
Be the first to ReplyVery much worth it!
1st time here last night and we can’t wait to go back. The crispy duck lasagna was awesome and HUMONGOUS!! The two of us split it and still had enough to take home for another meal. The Tuna Crudo was one of the best things I have ever had. We took the Tiramisu home and had it for a late night snack….drool!! We will definitely be back….soon!!
Be the first to ReplyAmazing food and service
The food is exceptional . One of the best restaurants not only on Atlanta but around the US. The service was always spot on, waitress was very knowledgeable and made sure to space it part of the meal so you could enjoy without being rushed. Also made my next reservation so I can try other items on the menu.
Be the first to ReplyOutstanding Meal!
Went to Lyla Lila before a Fox Theatre performance. The meal was outstanding in every way. We started with an appetizer portion of cacio e pepe. For entrees', I had the squid ink spaghetti and the wife had the sweet potato mezzaluna ravioli. Both were excellent. Since we were on a date night, we splurged by sharing the lemon cheesecake. Maybe the best cheesecake that I have ever eaten. This is a great Atlanta restaurant!
