This is one of the best restaurants in Michigan.
The food is always amazing. The service is second to none. The staff knows the menu backwards and forwards. Every course is a treat and well thought out! Definitely is a must try restaurant in Michigan.

I don't know what happened to my old review from here, but this is the best restaurant. It maybe only competes with Selden for that spot locally. Most things you try will knock your socks off. I can't hype this place enough.

Unpopular opinion, I know.

Mabel Gray never disappoints.
Always a 10/10 experience with unique, seasonal food. I'll be dreaming about this lamb chop for the rest of my life.

I recently indulged in the 8-course meal, and it was truly amazing! Each portion was generous and satisfying. Not only did we get to sample off-menu delights, but also chef favorites, adding to the culinary adventure. The service was top-notch too.
My favorite Michigan resteraunt.
A hidden gem. Wonderful service and ambiance. Can't wait to return.
My favorite restaurant.
I love food, drinks, and surprises. They have all 3. The tasting menu with the wine pairing is amazing. Not that much food for the money but worth it for the overall experience. .
Mabel Gray's food is always amazing and wonderful.
The service is fine and the price is right. Go as often as possible.

Absolutely unreal from the minute we walked in and until the very end. It's been my opinion that not everyone wants to invest in an official Michelin star, but let me clarify, their service, food, & ambiance perform as if they have three stars. N

Delicious food, cocktails, excellent service.
Intimate with lovely lighting, James makes a wonderful experience.
Such an experience at Mabel Gray.
Always have different menu items each time I return. Great food as always. Would recommend getting the chefs tasting if you do go.
This was eyes-rolled-back-in-your-head good.
It took months to get a reservation for 6:00 pm. The 4:00 and 8:00 options are easier to come by. When you make a reservation, you need to put a $25 deposit per person. It'll go towards your meal but it's to prevent no-shows. We each ordered the tast
Disappointed with this place and Chef Rigato is overrated.
Would not recommend if you're in the area, go somewhere else.
Great food but leave the hearing aid at home.
The food is at the top of the list. Perfection in 8 courses. A few hints. The noise level is somewhat higher in the main dining room, quieter on the patio but then, there will be road noise from passing traffic. So this is not the place for a quiet c

Excellent!
We visited maple gray for the first time. I had the tasting menu and they were able to accommodate my gluten allergy. My husband ordered off the menu and we both enjoyed all of the food and the service was excellent. We will definitely be back.
Exceptional.
Excellent. Phenomenal. Get that reservation and go hungry. Sit down, enjoy, and prepare to open that wallet. Service, food, drinks are all five stars. Deservedly so. Ambiance is laid back, not pretentious, just a friendly place to be.
Amazing menu, lovely service.
I like the season-appropriate food. Some of the best-made cocktails I've had lately. You'll be to make reservations, probably.
The food, the service, and the decor are just all top-notch.
A cozy little delicious restaurant you'll want to take your best friends, your family, anyone...with or without a reason to celebrate! good for vegetarians!
Place is still the best in town.
Very accommodating, staff is knowledgeable and very attentive. Food is incredible. None of you should go there as its getting harder for me to get a table :-)
Great food and the menu is always changing.
Parking is convenient in the lot or on the street. It's a small place so make reservations. Always great food and busy but worth the visit.

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Mabel Gray Hazel Park at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Mabel Gray Hazel Park page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* MaternalRecord73, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's $200 bid.
* MaternalRecord73 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to MaternalRecord73 for any questions Peter may have as MaternalRecord73 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* MaternalRecord73 now uses their connections at Mabel Gray Hazel Park to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If MaternalRecord73 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, MaternalRecord73 receives the $200 reward which is credited to MaternalRecord73's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Mabel Gray Hazel Park!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
