🤢 2/5 - Goes to Spain once and decides to open a "tapas" inspired

Goes to Spain once and decides to open a "tapas" inspired restaurant. Tapas options were limited as well as unavailable. And I'm so disappointed that this review is less than stellar because I had high hopes. My main frustration is that many items on the already small-ish menu were unavailable. So, what do you do when you get to a "tapas" restaurant and there are no tapas? You order the usual oysters and sashimi. Then, you order some other stuff (like grilled whole fish and potatoes) that you didn't really want, but you have no choice. And that ends up being underwhelming because it's not cooked properly or slathered with creme fraiche. Also, you want to order wine but can't read the tiny font and non-descript wine list. But you end up ordering weird, pretentious cocktails with flavor profiles that don't make any sense. And finally, you end up spending $215. for a party of 2. And end up regretting spending $115.Once again, mediocracy rules in San Diego.
