Great Food, Better Service - What a night out!
A really special meal in a fabulous space. Well-thought-out design of the room, the menu, and the service; this restaurant is crusing towards a Michelin Star or I miss my guess. Definitely exceeded expectations and looking forward to going back and sitting at the Kitchen View Bar for the full chef's tasting menue. Tip - Scallops. Seriously; scallops!
I live next block and I always visit bar when I need to
I live next block and I always visit bar when I need to take my out-the-town friends somewhere nice. Btw, bar is walk-in welcome! No reservations are needed. This place is charming, service is not rushed, cocktail's ingredients are excellent and not cheap by all means (bartenders will understand). Trivia question: How to understand a good and well balanced cocktail? - When you cannot taste main/base ingredient: be it whiskey or sake or vodka... This Upscale place will offer thin water glasses so your lips will not clinched around thick glass- an aesthete touch. Stem of wine glass be long but overall be perfectly balanced. You will have sensory, auditory and visual stimulation. Now lets talk about atmosphere and ambiance. Open horizons, as far as one can see city views allow to relax your overworked during the day eyes and both hemispheres:)) Saying Hi to our server who recently moved from Texas. Remember how to say THANK YOU In Georgian:) ? In case you forgot: Its "MADLOBA" :) :) :)

I've only come for drinks, but this is a go to for me when trying to impress a friend from out of town. Go in the afternoon and you will likely have no competition to find a spot at or near the bar and be impressed by the beautiful views. Drinks are also delicious and not outrageously priced (around $20, which is not bad given the setting). What more could you want? I need to try the restaurant next!

We came here for our anniversary celebration and were really impressed by the service! From checking in downstairs to being greeted by our hostess and every waiter/waitress that we interacted with wished us a happy anniversary. We went with the four course menu and tried the sweet shrimp (one of my favourite courses), white asparagus with kombu (would avoid), scallops (definitely get this), cod and rib eye. For dessert, we got the Mille feuille and the strawberry rhubarb. They also gave us a small tiramisu for our anniversary! All in all, a great experience at Manhatta, with the cod, Mille feuille and sweet shrimp being the standout dishes
From the service to the setting everything about Manhatta
From the service to the setting everything about Manhatta impresses. It's great to see Manhatta make a strong return (after being closed during COVID) and having dined both pre and post COVID can confirm that quality and attention to detail remain unchanged. Whether you get the three or four course meal ($115 vs $145), the only difference is whether you go with a dessert to finish. Each portion is what they call the 'perfect Goldilocks' amount, leaving you satisfied, but not too full. I found that between the amuse bouche, bread and the main entree that this was generally true, and left satisfied (vs still hungry at some of these fine dining establishments). The standout dish (to me) was the scallops. The sauce, a combination of seaweed Bjerre bland and maple cured trout roe, was fantastic and the perfect level of richness to pair with the scallops. If you're feeling daring you can also dip your leftover bread in the sauce (which I'm not ashamed to admit I did). Most will also go with the 'ribeye of beef' which is satisfying, but the accompanying caraflex cabbage is a bit too vinegary for my taste. Overall, whether you're celebrating a date or having a business power-meal, you won't leave Manhatta disappointed. Plus, the view from the 60th floor certainly doesn't hurt.
The resaurant was right across from the Federal Reserve
The resaurant was right across from the Federal Reserve Bank with a nice welcome area. It was minutes walk from our hotel. We were one of the few to arrive first for Sunday's lunch, the speedy elevator impressively shot up to the 60th floor. Arriving early was great, we had unobstructed (diners) views of Manhattan, Brooklyn and the river that wrapped around Manhattan, in the empty dining room we felt free to take some photos. Shortly after the restaurant filled up. I started with a Chablis which took while to arrive and taken to the wrong table. The somm didnt seem focused. Perhaps this restaurant was more of a evening place. We had a few appetizers my beef tartare was well made handcut compare to a "French" place that served it grounded!! The crispy keropok cracker worked so well. The hamachi crudo was good but didnt wow. The asparagus buratta was a better appetizer. The kiddo had the burger and they kindly served all the sauces on the side. The pure soft buns and patty combination was indescribably delicious I could understand why the five dudes who arrived with us only ordered that. The steak was delicous and the trout I had was also good. The dessert was a chocolatey tart it was delicious too! The service was hit or miss lacking the high end restaurant standard or enthusiasm and the restaurant had a high number of "touristic" visitors for the view. We came for the food and service firstly but perhaps the great view took abit of that away. It has great potential!!
Manhatta went above and beyond.
I came here for my girlfriend's 30th birthday and our 6 year anniversary and the staff made every detail special - remembering to congratulate us on the anniversary AND birthday whenever they had the chance. The food is also lovely - I had heard good things so anticipated it being very good and it did not disappoint! Great combos of flavor in every course. If you're looking for a place to treat a special day with care, I highly recommend! And the amazing view is an added bonus
Such a unique experience.
Views are unbeatable. Food did not disappoint. A rare combination of fine dining but a very welcoming staff. Feel like they treat everyone w the same respect regardless of how much you might spend. Will certainly be back.
One of the best views in the city with incredible drinks.
The bartenders are always extremely attentive and smart. The drinks are always delicious. A bit pricey but you're paying for the views.
My friend and I absolutely love this restaurant.
The view was spectacular. The food was delicious. Good portion size and high-quality cooking. The trout was perfectly tender and melted in my mouth. LOVE IT. I will definitely come back. The service was excellent. My waitress was nice, the dessert guy was very presentable, everything was perfect.
Great staff and experience for a special date
I choosed Manhatta to make my marriage proposal to my girlfriend. The staff has been simply amazing, very discreet and caring. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great even if we were unlucky with some clouds obscuring the view. They made this very special occasion truly unforgettable. I hope to come back to celebrate our first anniversary. 5 stars truly deserved. Stefano from Italy
Come for the food first, the view is just an added bonus.
loved this meal! The service was also great and felt very comfortable and accommodating.

Manhatta is located on the 60th floor and the view is gorgeous. We came for dinner so we were able to see the sunset. We opted in for the 4 course and it was delicious. It makes you crave for more. The waiters were all super attentive and informative.
The view is spectacular.
The food was even better. But, more importantly, the service was terrific. One of the best dining experiences ever. Bravo!!
overall lovely experience.
felt upscale. check-in in the lobby and take the elevator up to the 60th floor where a beautiful view awaits. nice cocktail, beer, and wine selections. get the hamachi appetizer. skip the kohlrabi appetizer. very nice trout dish with hollandaise sauce. i had the burger. it was good but not out of this world. purple chips were delicious. seems like a very nice date spot.

If you're looking for a spot to dine with a beautiful skyline, this is your spot. Food and service is fantastic. They have creative drinks to go along with their amazing dishes.

It was definitely loud, but the view and lighting was amazing and the overall vibe was really nice. The waiters were polite and swift and the food was brought pretty quickly, actually. The third course did take some time to come, but it was worth it because it was all delicious and made well, some foods being more simple while others were like art piece. The only problem I had was that the foods seemed a bit overwhelming at times, it was also pretty pricy, but really nice location with a view of the bridge and city.

They have a cool concept for the cocktails, but the cocktails themselves are just ok. They leave you with something to be desired. The views are killer though and the vibe is very good. Very luxurious finishes, modern artwork in the hallways. The staff is not the most professional, the bartenders felt a bit lazy (saw them make a lot of mistakes and just kept making the drinks, o well). You're paying your bar tab here pretty much to get a view of the NYC skyline -- I guess they know that too.

Second time I've been for lunch/brunch, and it's now one of my favorite spots near us! The cocktail/wine selection is fantastic, and their zero proof options are so fun as well - a good variety of NA beer, wine, and cocktails. Food itself is really fantastic - on weekends they offer a ~$65 prix fixe menu with a ton of delicious options. I get the kohlrabi and grapefruit salad, the burger (which is IMO one of the best in the city), and the key lime pie. It's a generous amount of food and we've always left stuffed. The service is always so accommodating. Everything from drink recommendations to surprising ways the staff has acknowledged special occasions shows an attention to detail and to the diners that a lot of other restaurants don't have. Last but certainly not least is the view - you're on the 60th floor and the sights are incredible. Overall, would recommend their lunch service to anyone!
Manhatta is a true gem in the heart of New York City.
Situated on the 60th floor of a skyscraper in the Financial District, the restaurant offers breathtaking views of the city skyline that are unmatched. The ambiance is elegant and sophisticated, making it the perfect setting for a special occasion or a memorable dining experience. The food at Manhatta is equally impressive. The menu features a modern take on classic American cuisine, with a focus on seasonal ingredients and bold flavors. Each dish is beautifully presented and expertly crafted, showcasing the chef's attention to detail and culinary expertise. One of the standout dishes for me was the Duck Breast, which was perfectly cooked and served with a flavorful cherry sauce. The combination of flavors was exquisite, and the dish was a true testament to the chef's skill. The service at Manhatta is also top-notch. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring that every guest has a memorable dining experience. Overall, Manhatta is a must-visit for anyone looking for a truly special dining experience in New York City. The food, service, and ambiance are all exceptional, and I can't wait to return.
When Manhatta opened on the 60th floor of a downtown office
When Manhatta opened on the 60th floor of a downtown office building, I was instantly intrigued. Though it took me years to get there, I was thrilled to check it out for drinks and appetizers with colleagues. We were unable to get someone on the phone to make a reservation, so we just tried showing up and were lucky to get a small, high-top table to stand at next to the bar. The place was packed with a happy hour crowd, so even though we had to stand, I was glad we had a space to park. For my first drink, I opted for the Pollen Oats, which included fennel pollen, Wild Turkey 101, Aperol, cherry, honey, ginger, and kombucha. While it was enjoyable, I had asked the server about just how much honey was in the drink, and he had said it was not very noticeable. However, that was sadly not the case, and I really am not a fan of honey. Oh well! That just meant that I had to try a second drink, and I selected the Brooklyn. The cocktail was no joke...The potent blend of cherry blossom, Ragtime Rye, Amaro, Maraschino, Sakura Vermouth, cherry bark, and vanilla was like a sweeter Manhattan that surely packed a punch! I really liked the drink, but it was a struggle not to feel overwhelmed by its strength. Thankfully, we ordered a few food items to absorb some of the alcohol. The Everything Pretzels were very doughy. They looked more like a pull-apart, flower-shaped bundle of mini-rolls than a large pretzel, though it certainly tasted like one. It was served with a creamy and zesty mustard cream cheese. We also had the Selection of Cheeses, which was a variety of soft and hard wedges, accompanied by jams and fig toast. The platter was expertly assembled. My experience at Manhatta might have been brief and not overly comfortable, but the food and drinks were very interesting. I really would love to return to the restaurant for a full dinner meal.
Absolutely worth a visit!
This was a wonderful experience to get dressed up for a date night. The views are breathtaking, service was excellent and made it feel like a special experience. The cocktails were top notch and the food was eclectic and mouth watering. We each chose the four course option and tried a variety of dishes. The espresso martini has a unique flavor to it that was delightful (coming from a person who orders them constantly)! Loved the blue crab, hamachi, dumplings, and scallop. Thank you to the staff for making us feel valued - wonderful evening.
Is there a better “special occasion” restaurant for a visitor to NY?… I suspect not!
We chose Manhatta to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and what a great decision that was. We were well looked after by Shannon, and the whole team seemed to know we were celebrating! The food easily matched the view, which even on a wet and windy night was spectacular. The cocktails were unusual and as good as any we’ve had. Of course it’s not the cheapest night you’ll ever have. But you’ll pay the best part of $100 to get the view alone elsewhere. Can’t recommend enough.
Jaw dropping view, amazing service, great food
Manhatta is located on the 60th floor of a high rise in the Financial District (on LIberty St), and the view is simply jaw dropping. Brooklyn Bridge from above, at sunset, was an amazing sight. However, the restaurant does not made the mistake of offering mediocre food and service just because the location is amazing. We were very pleasantly surprised about the attentive service staff who chatted casually with the guests, and put a lot of focus in providing excellent hospitality. Food came as a 4-course menu - you create your own menu based on a selection of starters, mains, and desserts catering to different tastes and dietary choices. All courses were excellent! A final kitchen greeting were tiny profiteroles filled with banana cream that we really loved - when telling service, they came back with a box of even more profiteroles to take home. What a lovely gesture! Manhatta is clearly recommended, not just for the views, but also for very good food and amazing service.
Disappointed with being conned
I haven’t ventured into the city centre for many years but went with friends for a post 60th bday celebration. I feel conned and extremely disappointed with being charged for a double drink when I did not ask for one. More importantly I was driving and wasn’t aware I had been given a double until I tasted it and then went back to query this & the price which I knew was a lot at the time of being served but did not query it as I just assumed being a Saturday evening and City centre that this was the price. The Barman should be ashamed of himself. I could have lost my driving license had I not be so sensitive to the taste and this clearly a way to get even more money out of guests.

Great Service - amazing dinner!!
Read about the site in NYT and bought a reservation at Mother Wolf in LA 2 days later. Worked great and the food was amazing!!!
Worked perfectly!
Got the reservation (that I couldn't get anywhere else) and was able to entertain a group of friends at the infamous Bern's Steakhouse.
Got into Nobu Malibu
Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!
Very easy
Was very hesitant going into this experience but am glad to say that it worked out very well ! will definitely use appointment trader in the future
Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!
Great reviewer team
Just wanted to take a second to shout out the reviewer team. Even though they probably review hundreds of listings and bids a day, they still take the time to leave great comments and respond relatively quickly. Thanks!
Incredible
I got a reservation to Don Angie, which I've been trying to book for weeks! I am very happy with this service.
Best platform out there!
Super simple, easy, and fast to secure reservations for hard-to-get restaurants and locations!
This app is life changing
This app has opened my world up to so many wonderful new experiences I would never have the chance to have without access to this awesome app! 10/10!
Worked perfectly
Was a little nervous at first but was pleased to see that the booking went through flawlessly.
Highly recommended.
Success on Short Notice
Was able to snag an indoor table at Don Angie through an absolutely seamless worry-free process.
Worked perfectly, thank you!
This is a crazy holiday season in NYC and I was very pleasantly surprised to see that AppointmentTrader works! Will be using again!
Worked flawlessly!
Worked so well! I was a bit nervous, but everything went very smoothly. purchased the reservation, and got into the restaurant seamlessly.
Love this app!
So glad I came across this app :)
Quick table in Miami
I didn’t have my hopes high as it was a party of 4. In 24 hours I had a carbone reservation available! I was very happy as my family really wanted to come here
Prime time, great meal
So easy and had a prime time which I can never seem to get on normal res apps. So worth it
Got impossible NYC res
instead of waiting weeks I got my 4 charles reservation instantly
Worked perfectly to get into Carbone. So delighted
perfect
Worked well, got me into a restaurant with no availability
I was skeptical, and I still don't really know how they managed to find this hard-to-find reservation, but it was a win-win from my point of view, and I'll use this service again.
Last minute reservation for Delilah Las Vegas
Got a last minute reservation, dinner for 2 at Delilah Las Vegas: super impressed! The process was simple, transaction seamless. We had an amazing time! Couldn’t be happier! 😍
It works!
Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!
Money transfer
As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.
Love this app
Got to go to places otherwise unreachable
Easy Access
Very easy to get into one of the hardest restaurants to reserve in New York.
Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!
Payouts Blocked Because of Sell Through Rate
Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??
Tune into NBC News - Top Story Tonight 7:40p ET
Let’s go. Get more people placing bids!
I will give you 50% of ALL of my PROFITS if you teach me how to make profits?
LOL. Thank you The New Yorker.
Appointment
Transferring reservations is not supported in AT. Why not just use the name in the AT screenshot?
Buyers interested in Bern's Steakhouse: PLEASE READ
Same goes for 4 Charles and I Sodi
Prepaid Reservation Fee
Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
Congrats on 3 mil
🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🧨🧨🧨 now on to 30 mill!
Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it?
Click on "Take off the Market Option" in your portfolio
Working on your bid?
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted.
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
