Decent Japanese, like entry level food , service is impeccable though. Don't expect the best Japanese, but you won't be disappointed either

It pains me to write this since I was looking forward to this meal. Beautiful restaurant and the chef himself was here but they are not good with food allergies. I provided all of my allergies in French and English and the waiter told me that the chicken was not marinated. I told them that I would have that along with the beef. The waiter came out 15 minutes later and said I couldn't have the chicken because it was marinated in butter, salt and pepper. I said it wasfine. He came back again 10 minutes later and said that its actually marinated with other things. So instead I got baked plain chicken, with no Seasoning and charged full price. The beef was good and tender though. I asked for no vegetables and of course my food came with it. Not worth the money nor the time. Spoke to the manager and he just blamed it on a lack of communication. If you have food allergies I don't recommend you eat here. Poor service and non knowledgeable staff.
Be the first to ReplyHonestly do not bother.
.. it is not that the food is not good because it is good because .., it is simply just good not great... the real issue is the prices for drinks even water ... 5 times as much as normal.. a bottle of water for $14 yes water or a beef for $16 or a vodak soda for $30... do not go here it is way way way not worth it so many other better choices in Paris to consider ...
Be the first to ReplyWe were recommended by another really good restaurant
We were recommended by another really good restaurant called Chez Ly, and we definitely did not regret this. Its a little pricey, but you get what you ordered. Definitely really good. I recommend the Wagyu Beef Tobayaki, one of the best wagyu I had. Looks great, tastes like heaven. We ordered the Black Angus and it was €35 but the waiter got it wrong and ordered us the wagyu which was around £85. Our Waiter kindly told us we could have it at the same price of the Black Angus which was really lucky. It was a little tough but still tender. We recommend you that if you like your wagyu rough. We had it with Antimucho sauce which was a little spicy. My little brother wanted hot chocolate but it wasn't on the menu. The Waiter said she'd see what she can do, and a couple minutes later she came back with hot chocolate. The service was really friendly, though the atmosphere is a little dark. This is fine dining. We definitely recommend you to come! The service is exceptionally good and friendly, great food. Worth it. Would come again! If you're looking for something casual, this isn't the place.
Be the first to ReplyWe had a lovely experience dining here at Matsuhisa.
I've been to a lot of the Nobu locations in other countries and was happy to see that there was a Matsuhisa here. The food lived up to the expectations and the service was great. Definitely recommend checking this restaurant out if you're in the mood for some amazing Japanese. The Black Cod is an amazing signature dish. The gyoza, yellowtail jalapeno and the salmon were all delicious too. When we were back in Paris next, we will be back here again.

As expected, everything was terrific, food, atmosphere, even service was top notch, quality at every location I've visited and Paris was no exception. However, when I scanned the bill, everything was as expected until I saw the drink prices, in what world does a regular margarita warrant a €35 price tag for ONE drink? That's a deal breaker for this loyal customer, way out of line Matsuhisa, that's gouging
Be the first to ReplyBest water I have ever had the delight of drinking.
Clean, crisp, perfectly iced, quickly served even though I noticed it was a full house. Great job, Matsuhisa. Also the food was fantastic, but, that's not what I review. Anyone who enters here should be appreciative, and if anyone were to complain about going here, I will find you.
Be the first to ReplyIt was a spectacular experience.
I love Peruvian Japanese fusion. Its a little pricey but so worth it. Michelin star chef. Amazing food. Spoil yourself, i promise you that you will be extremely happy with your experience. Food is FANTASTIC!!!

This was an experience! I've had nobu, in many cities, multiple times, and a huge fan and regular patron of Matsuhisa in BH. This was definitely not those! The elegance of Raffles Hotel, the tall cathedral like ceilings. the level of service from cocktails servers to busses were perfect. Food was certainly good, but what made it better was the impeccably dressed staff and neatly executed service. As if they had a choreographer...if you happen to be in the neighborhood, do give it a try, and dress to impress!

Had diner here the other night, as I was curious about this restaurant. In overall, we had a very pleasant experience.Settled in the Royal Monceau Raffles Hotel, the place is absolutely wonderful. Decoration is quite chic, although sober. We got seated nearby the windows, so it was bright enough around us. I'm afraid that the tables faraway from the windows do not get enough light.Food is very good, I mean, very very good. As the room was not too crowded, we were served fast enough. Talking about service, it is absolutely impeccable. Waiters were very attentive and thanks to them, we had a very pleasant diner.Only negative point - which is why I don't give a 5th star: the music. Too loud, really. I am expecting a much more peaceful and quiet atmosphere in a Japanese restaurant!
Be the first to ReplyJust so amazing! The beef with fried rice was perfection.
Absolutely love how hot they served their green tea.
Be the first to ReplyIt's NOT AUTHENTIC Japanese food.
The food is either too sweet or salty. Too concentrated. Soooooo frustrating. And for 130€ a menu (the basic menu... The premium is 170€), it's not worth it. Run and take your money elsewhere. There's a McDonalds nearby. Run.... Run while you can!

I was expecting a fabulous lunch and was terribly disappointed. There is nothing difficult about a Salad Niçoise. I have never had a bad on until today. In fact it was the worst I have ever eaten. The ingredients were fresh as expected. But the vinaigrette ruined the salad. It was very salty and did not have a good flavor. In fact it was terrible. I thought about sending it back but felt embarrassed as I was not properly dressed and thus felt a bit out of place. I was very disappointed as this is my very favorite salad and for 28€ expected at least an edible salad. My husbands had the burger and fries. He said the burger was good and the fries were delicious. We originally went for the ice cream desserts and decided to stay for lunch. They did not disappoint. The chocolate one comes with a macaron and it was left out. Our waiter graciously brought us four to make up for it. I gave the restaurant three stars because of the service. We were very underdressed and the staff never made us feel awkward. They deserve five stars! The kitchen staff, not so much.

"The atmosphere is that of a large family dining room on the scale of a cathedral. This is a place to come to celebrate a rite, the ritual of the pleasure of sharing a table, simply to commune, a rite of elegance and joy.For this venue, Executive Chef Laurent André wanted to eschew the traditional codes of haute-cuisine restaurants in favor of friendliness and a more spontaneous approach.La Cuisine's gourmet experience ends on a high note with desserts created by Pierre Hermé specially for the Royal Monceau."- Via raffles.com/EN_RA/Proper…
