Great, with one exception
The service, the Servers, the Sommelier and wine selections were all great. My only "gripe" would be the amount of time it took to complete our meal. While I never want to be rushed when fine-dining, I also don't want to have to wait almost 2-hours to get my main course then have to literally shovel it into my mouth, ask for the check as the food is served and end the meal in a rabid hurry. My two coworkers and I showed up 3-hours prior to our reservation, sat at the bar and had drinks for almost an hour, then were sat at our table at 5 mins prior to our reservation time (7:30pm). I made this reservation time because we had tickets to a show at 9:30pm in the same hotel, so I figured a 2-hour timeline would be sufficient. After being seated the remainder of the meal was wonderful but we noticed that the kitchen's timing was a little slower than most high-end restaurants but we just bided our time. However, as 9pm came and went, and we still didn't have our main courses, I finally had to ask our Server to ask the kitchen to "rush" our meal so we could make our show on time. Then, to complete our meal, the Server brought 2 of 3 meals to the table and I asked for the check at the same time. We ate fast, still waiting on the 3rd entree to show up but anxious to not miss the start of our show. When the 3rd entree showed up it was consumed rapidly as I paid the check and we gathered our things, walking away from our table exactly 2-hours after we had been seated. All in all if you have no timeline at all to meet, if you have time to just sit for several hours, then I highly recommend. As in most Vegas hotels, everything is over-priced, with wines appearing to be at about a 300% - 400% upcharge, but you pay for the experience and convenience.
Be the first to ReplyVery good seafood spot in bellagio
Been to the bellagio many times for dinners, and decided to give Michael Mina a try. It’s located in the conservatory just outside the Bellagio lobby. Setting is fine, open floor plan, tables not too close together. Service was good, cocktail service was prompt. Decent drinks. Good wine list. Started with some oysters, which were excellent. Had tuna tartare which was prepared table side. Very good. For dinner we had the half portion snapper, half portion branzino, and phyllo-crusted sole. All were good, as expected, but for $78 for a half-portion fish, perhaps we expected a bit more “wow” factor either with presentation or flavor. Would definitely try again next time we are there.

The service is absolutely amazing! You need to make a reservation this is the best place in Vegas to eat so book ahead. The food is nothing short of heavenly. The staff are spot on to meet your needs. Tara is a classic that brings me back as well as the caviar parfait with Belvedere vodka. The steaks are always tender and cooked to perfection. If you’re coming to Las Vegas, and you don’t eat here, you truly have never been to Las Vegas.
Be the first to ReplyOne star of poor experience
Here is you 1 star Michelin! The theater starts with the hanger. At the door two cheep looking hostesses asked us to wait ( for about 5 min) when finally set us down. There were only two things came fast in the whole three hours of us being at the restaurant: the water and the big check. An hour in we have not even had out starters yet.forget about chef’s complementaries as it usually happens in high cuisine restaurants. Good cuisine was spoiled by an exceptionally long wait and a poor service. Instead of offering us a sorbet to clear out pallets in between dishes, as it is suppose to be in high cuisine restaurant the Cheff sent us shrimp to apologizing for a wait…. After almost three hours we still were waiting for desert. I tried to get attention of our waiter who was right there talking to a colleague of his. Another waiter saw me looking and also tried to pay the waiter’s attention but in vain. He ended up coming to us himself and addressing our need. Unbelievable! Mr Mina would not put his name under the service like that!

A part of the Bellagio since opening, first as Aqua but since reborn twice as MICHAEL MINA Restaurant, it was as The Strip shuttered that eight guests sat down for a meal never to be forgotten and now with the Pandemic but a memory the Restaurant remains remarkable under the direction of Chef Raj Dixit. Always a special place, and on this particular evening again completely full, it was in the Private Dining Room that four friends were situated just past to 6:00pm, Carte Blanche once again deferred to the kitchen who opted to prepare a menu of pure opulence. Designed as an eight-course menu, with white glove treatment afforded to all in attendance, it was following a Champagne toast that the night started with Michael Mina’s timeless Caviar Parfait commanding attention from black Eggs to crispy Potato Cake with palates cleansed between bites by Belvedere Vodka. Delivering Mina’s housemade Laffa next, the first of many baskets complimented by a trio of Spreads, Shellfish comes as a tremendous display whether raw or char-grilled with Garlic, the White Truffle Butter on its side foreshadowing housemade Pasta blanketed with tableside shavings. Pairing each savory with Wine for those so inclined, Salmon given Thai treatment offered with Riesling, Duck with its Liver each arrived flawlessly cooked alongside a quartet of condiments ranging bitter to sweet. Not holding back with A5 Miyazaki Wagyu plated simply with classic Bordelaise, California Cabernet matching its richness, Dessert is always an all-in affair on this evening finding Michael’s famous Root Beer Float alongside “The Lemon,” Chocolate Mousse and silky Panna Cotta.

On our last evening at the Bellagio, we ate at Michael Mina. The best decision. The staff were great, very well-trained waiters, friendly and unobtrusive. Since we couldn't decide, we ordered the menu. It was really good. Everything was perfect, everything was fresh and delicious. An absolute recommendation. We'll be back.
Be the first to ReplyWonderful service Average food
Came for supper for our anniversary with high expectations, we were disappointed. The service was exceptional, no problems there. Unfortunately our food fell flat. I ordered a tasting seafood dish which had shrimp, crab, lobster, and mussels. My husband had steak and mashed potatoes. Everything was average, the seafood and steak were disappointing. We have had better at red lobster. Maybe because we were at the east coast this year the seafood tasted so blah? The steak was just ok as were the potatoes, the Keg us definitely better. Not a meal that was worth $380 with 1 side and 2 alchohol dtinks. ( tip in) would definitely never go back.

Great food, excellent service and a contemporary setting make Michael Mina in Las Vegas a must go-to place for a fine dining experience. The menu leans towards seafood, though there are several options for meat lovers. Our party started with the caviar parfait, and for entrees we had the salmon and sole, and both seafood dishes were excellent. Dessert was a strawberry souffle. Food was well prepared, and was served hot-not lukewarm as some restaurants. If you want a special experience, I recommend going to Michael Mina.

My wife and I enjoyed sensational food here last week. It was sooooo good we ate dinner here three times. We enjoyed the Cavier Parfait, Little Gem Salad, Tuna Tartare, Foie Gras, Phyllo - Crusted Petrale Sole, Steak, and several desserts. We enjoyed most of these items multiple times. Jesse served us on the first and third evenings and Alex on the second evening. The food and service were tremendous. With over 4,300 restaurants in Las Vegas to choose from, we chose Michael Mina three times. That speaks for itself as to how good it is!
Be the first to ReplyBetter Than Ever
We had dinner here last night for our 34th anniversary. I'm so glad that this amazing restaurant is back open from covid, and it's clearly running on all cylinders -- better than ever. Food - 10 out of 10 - presentation; flavors; each of the five courses caused my wife & me to pause and look wide-eyed at each other after the first bite or two; simply off the charts. Atmosphere - 10 out of 10 - what a beautiful dining room, with a level of ambiance that's lacking in so many restaurants, even those that are highly rated; classy, but not stuffy or pretentious. Service - 12 out of 10 - we eat regularly at Michelin-starred restaurants here and in Europe, and it truly doesn't get any better than this; of particular mention was our head waiter, Patrick, who made sure our 34th was a special evening.
Be the first to ReplyA little disappointing, it was nice but sadly didn't really meet our expectations.
We recently managed to dine at Michael Mina in the Belagio. The service is attentive and efficient and the venue itself lovely and we'll located, but for such an expensive restaurant some aspects just didn't seem to meet our expectations. Having eaten in a number of Michelin star restaurants we had some thoughts as to what we could expect, I chose the taster menu which was admittedly rather nice, with my only adverse comment being that the lobster pie, needed more lobster. The Tuna starter was the star dish and my favourite. Unfortunately my wife chosen the scallop starter which was massively salty having been overseasoned, I tried some and it really left angling after taste which was a shame. We had a bottle of wine but wasn't told it was empty until we asked for more, not a massive issue but when spending $450+ you should expect the little details to be right. Finally when we requested the bill we were given the bill for another table. Other than the salty starter these are all finicky little things, but at that cost you should expect perfection and didn't leave feelings that had been the case.

Be the first to ReplyImpeccable Experience
This was my first time having dinner here. I opted for the Signature Tasting Menu. And I loved it. It was a lot of food but I managed to eat it all except the dessert. I took the dessert back to the room. The staff were all friendly and helpful. They explained each dish as it was presented. The atmosphere was a bit noisy.
Be the first to ReplyTHIS IS THE REAL DEFINITION OF FINE DINING
We ate here before and said is was the best tasting menu we had ever experienced. We came back to explore the rest of the menu. Glad we did. We loved the caviar parfait (which is like nothing we have ever had before), coconut shrimp, sole, and filet mignon. One of the really special things about dining there is the dining experience. We were greeted by the smiling Lucy and welcomed by several employees on the way to our seat. Eric, the sommelier, always has a perfect wine to match for our meal. Just ask him, Our table server, Marteen, was always there with a smile. Another server, Arleni, always served with a smile too. Our waiter, Marcio, knows absolutely everything about every dish. The general manager, Justin, was always in the background to make sure everything ran flawlessly. And it always did. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we felt welcomed, comfortable, and appreciated. We were able to eat leisurely, and never felt rushed. As we left, we were thanked and wished a good evening by several more employees. This was truly a fine dining experience. !!!
Be the first to ReplyGood service over cooked expensive food and 3 sick people from rotten shell fish
I have been to this store no less than 4 times and obviously had good experiences. All pre covid. 7 of us went for what we expected to be an experience. We had oysters and clams . $4.00 plus oysters have white/white shells. A few of our guys ate clams and oysters that should have never been served. They were spoiled had yellow shells and one clam we sent back just based on its aroma. To top it off we had 2 steaks and 1 venison all ordered medium rare all came out well. That was sad One was so over cooked that they took it off the tab. The low quality of clams and oysters made 3 of our group deadly ill. The trip ruined. Michael Mina's team refused to speak with our hosts. Too many awesome places to eat in Vegas. Skip this place and go to Guy Savoy, Picasso, Le Cirque, Nomad, a few of superior venues.

My husband and I chose to splurge and try the tasting menu for our anniversary. We are so glad we did. This dinner will be a special memory for us for many years to come. The staff was kind and engaging and the food was spectacular. It was so good, it was impossible for either of us to pick our favorite bite.

I was a guest of the Bellagio during Christmas weekend (2022), and I dined at "Michael Mina @ Bellagio" on Christmas Eve. While planning my stay, I was concerned that all of the restaurants within the resort property would be (very) busy. So, I made dinner reservations via the MGMResorts website. While making the reservation, I was given the option of signaling my intent to order the five-course tasting menu ($175/person). After seating, my party also opted for the wine pairing ($135/person). Was the meal expensive? In a sense, not really. Not when you consider how much work the back of house staff puts into making these tasting menus, and the cost of the ingredients. And the front of house staff--our waiter, the sommelier, the food runners and manager all interacted with us. The waiter and sommelier, in particular, were very engaged in curating our food and wine pairing. Michael Mina's provided a very high-touch, high quality dining experience in which you really feel like you're being cared for.
Be the first to ReplyIncredible food and a stellar team!! A Must Visit when in Vegas!
Michael Mina at the Bellagio is now on our regular very short list of Must Visit restaurants whenever we are in town, several times a year. It obviously starts with the food (heavenly Caviar Parfait, melt in your mouth Ahi Tuna Tartare, and the Lobster Pot Pie is worth every mouthwatering calorie), but beyond the food, it is the staff that brings the experience to the next level. We were lucky enough to have been seated in Yassin’s section on our first visit (a few years ago, at this point). Now we request him with every reservation. He’s so professional, gracious and friendly (and, we just found out that he shares my birthday - how cool is that??). We always enjoy our meal that much more because of him! And Yas is just the start! Chef Raj commonly comes out to chat with us when he can! Kevin and Justin (managers) also swing through to check on things. And we know there are countless others whose names we don’t know who execute all aspects of the dining experience flawlessly. From the greeters at the door who seat you, to the bartenders who make the yummiest cocktails, to the kitchen staff perfecting the gorgeous and tasty dishes we eat, to the sommeliers who know their wine, and the countless others who refill your water, replace your silverware, and serve your food - what a spectacular team! Everyone is so warm and hospitable, something that is not always at the forefront of high-end restaurants. If you’re in Vegas, make some time to enjoy an amazing meal with a stellar team of people!

On our most recent trip to Las Vegas,we had the pleasure of dining at Michael Mina at the Bellagio. I cannot say enough to express how wonderful our experience was. The food was amazing, coupled with service that was phenomenal. Our waiter was attentive to our every need, and could not have been nicer. The general manager checked in with us during the meal as well and was also genuinely concerned about making sure everything was perfect— and it was! We will certainly be back on our next trip to Las Vegas, and would recommend this exceptionally fine restaurant to anyone.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food, excellent service
Michael Mina does not disappoint. Every dish was delicious. The dressing on the grilled octopus was just right for the cut, the salmon perfectly cooked and the dessert absolutely delicious. Service is extremely attentive and friendly and the space nice. I only wish they had no TVs ... Prices were pretty good given that it is Las Vegas. Definitely worth going.
