Garrn was excellent! He made a custom roll for my group as we had someone with dietary restrictions and it was super nice of him. Highly recommend! Great vibes and great view.
Be the first to ReplyPlanned a rehearsal dinner for my clients here.
Service and food were top tier. They handled party of 30 with a breeze and were incredibly attentive to our needs. Major shout out to the event manager Iryna. The way she went above and beyond to help us was incredible, thank you for saving my nights night Iryna! Will work with them again in the future for sure.
Be the first to ReplyCome for amazing food, hookah and views.
Garen was our server and he is always very attentive and nice. The rest of the staff is always very friendly. Good place for any occasion.
Be the first to ReplyGreat views, tasty food, and wonderful drinks.
The key however is service. Every time I am there I ask for Garen, as I know he will ensure my experience is a great one.
Be the first to Replygot the tuna rice cakes, edamame, mya roll, chef roll, glen
got the tuna rice cakes, edamame, mya roll, chef roll, glen roll, and truffle fries. the tuna rice cakes were good but VERY small (less than bite size). the fries were ok, but some of them were way too hard to bite into. the edamame was alright as well. but oh my god the sushis were a disaster. the mya roll was very plain, wasn't bad but i wouldn't order it again. the chefs roll was definitely the best, but it came deformed and fell apart easily. the glen roll sucked, the sauces on it were too heavy. all in all i don't think i'd come here again.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food and assume service.
The A5 wagyu beef is one of the best steaks in town. Garen is my to go at this restaurant. We go here with the team every month. They never let us down.
Be the first to ReplyMy Mother's Day was ruined.
My siblings and I took our mother to dinner for Mother's Day. Two and a half hour later, my mother still had not gotten her food. We left and we notified the manager that our dinner was on them. I will NEVER ever go back. Unacceptable service!

I mean who's even running this place!?? Smh I remember coming here 2-3 years ago and it was the same situation! Looks like nothing has changed with the HORRIBLE service and the lack of management. Please avoid this place at all cost I promise you this is not the place you want to be it will ruin your whole day and you will end up leaving hungry and angry. We came here for Mother's Day dinner and we ordered food at 6 pm and we didn't get out food until 7:30 everything was cold and horrible and half the food we ordered didn't make it. We complained to the host and they said they would give a discount but we left hungry, angry and upset. We asked for heaters and it took like an hour to turn it on and all of our food didn't even make it to the table. They had someone bringing out the food and would just put it on the table and if you ask them what this is, she had no clue. They were taking the wrong order to the wrong table everybody looked like a chicken with their head cut off smh! I don't even know how this place is still open!!!
Be the first to ReplyIf you can't handle the capacity don't take the reservation.
Nobody deserves to have their Mother's Day ruined by poor management and staffing. It took us about an hour and half to get fries, a couple of the dishes we ordered never showed up. We asked for a booster seat and it never showed up but we saw the employees take the booster seats to the back. Also, we saw 2 servers vaping as they turned the corner. Since our waiter was no where to be found I went to the bar to ask for a cup of ice water and that's where I saw the waitress working at the bar stick her hand in a bucket of melted ice and put it in my cup of water( I told her I don't want ice from the contaminated bucket of ice). It was my first time there and never again will I go back.
Be the first to ReplyWent for Mother's day.
Waited for 30 minutes waitress came up and said kitchen was jammed b it even half of the room wasn't full. Didn't take the order only after additional 20 minutes came to take order. Brought all food individually asked to turn on heater said yes and didn't asked to bring ketchup said yes and didn't already about to leave brought out mushrooms which we didn't pay for since they were raw. And the worse part is that they self charge themselves 18% tip and 3% kitchen service charge that's why the waiters don't even bother themselves to work good. Asked about the tip said mentions in the menu at the very bottom in smaller letters. Horrible will never go again
Be the first to ReplyThey were accommodating for a late dinner while I was
They were accommodating for a late dinner while I was staying at the hotel but service was very disjointed and uneven. I had to ask for utensils and soy sauce for sushi and it took a while to get the check even though there was almost no one else there. Servers seemed pretty checked out and ready to just go home. The roll was just okay but the crispy tuna appetizer was good.
Be the first to ReplyOne of our favorite rooftops to go to over the weekend.
It's located on top of the Glenmark hotel, and has a beautiful and breathtaking view of the city. Plenty of heaters on cold nights, so be sure to take a jacket or a coat. They have delicious cocktails and mimosa and even on the weekends they serve brunch. They have delicious food to choose from along with sushi and our favorite part would be the coffee and hookah, hookah. Pricing is reasonable considering that they are a hotel and hookah cost $50 which I am willing to pay for that wonderful view and great food. There is a smoking a non-smoking area as well which is convenient for people who don't want to be around the smoke. It's great for groups and the service is wonderful every time we've gone.

We live locally and don't really care for restaurants in Glendale but we do like coming to Mya Rooftop. It's away from the busy Downtown Glendale chaos and is freeway friendly right off of Brand Blvd. Parking is by valet for 20.00 or street parking for free. The lobby is welcoming and the elevators are quick to the rooftop. Restrooms are located on the 8th floor and in the lobby, a little inconvenient but what can you do?! We really enjoy the couches with the fire pit, but be careful it can make your glasses and dishes hot. We definitely suggest a reservation as the fire pits are not available at every couch. There are multiple heaters throughout and we never felt cold, there is also a rain tent in place for the winter months. The menu could definitely use more appetizers, a variety of salads and a bit more creative entree's. We have ordered the filet mignon, sushi rolls and a beet salad a few times and they were great. We also always love a good glass of wine and we have definitely found that here. Other guests around were enjoying the hookah , but it didn't bother us. Staff were friendly at check in and our service was quick. We will continue to come here to enjoy the calm late evenings on the rooftop with city views. Enjoy!

Love this place so much, so cozy and nice, also food is really good. Also want to mention about hostess Ira, she is so friendly and helpful, helped us with choosing the best seat for us, since the weather was crazy it was raining and windy. I rarely visit the same place twice but here I go all the time.
Be the first to ReplyGreat chill place with nice views.
Good hookah quality. Very respectful hostess and servers.
Be the first to ReplyPretty place, great view.
Sushi is good but what sucks is on Tuesday's they don't serve sushi even though menu states steak and sushi. Service is kinda slow you have to flag down the waiter even though place might be empty. Hookah is good and I love how they come around with the charcoal without having to ask for it. It is a bit of a pricey place especially the additional charges they put on your bill and no matter how many people you are there with they charge 18% for tip. Kinda crazy because usually most restaurants charge the fee when you are 6 or more.
Be the first to ReplyPerfect spot for an office holiday party! Lots of heaters.
Amazing view. The sushi and the plates are delicious. Amazing old fashioneds! Will be coming back here for sure.
Be the first to ReplyJust visited here for the first time.
Slightly odd location for a mid rise hotel but OK, I'll go with the flow and the locals here. They offer valet but plenty of free street parking up and down Brand in close proximity at night. Take the lift to the Rooftop and you'll find a large area situated with table and couch sectionals. My group had cocktails and hookah - both were fine and as to be expected. The views are eh as it's covered with rain tenting and the service was as to be expected. The ambiance was interesting. I can see why the locals love this location however for me, not sure its worth a drive out unless meeting locals there.
Be the first to ReplyThis place is horrible the name of the place Maya, sushi
This place is horrible the name of the place Maya, sushi and steak and they don't have a steak they're out of it. And the hookah it's kinda pricey, it's $45 each plus tax and we have to chase them for charcoal overall I end up not eating anything because they don't have a steaks :(
Be the first to ReplyPerfect Valentine's day at MYA rooftop.
Drinks were amazing. You have the best Hookah in Glendale!!! Perfect Service. Will definitely come back for regular night. Thank you for such a great evening .
Be the first to ReplyThird time trying this rooftop restaurant on top of
Third time trying this rooftop restaurant on top of Glenmark hotel. While the hotel itself has offered exquisite service time and time again, the rooftop restaurant has been a disappointment repeatedly. Two close friends and I had dinner there one of the evenings this week. First of all, gratuity is not a tax. It's supposed to be at the guest's discretion based on their experience: food, service etc.Second, if you are slapping an 18% gratuity, then at least give great service and great food (not even average). For example our beat salad was delivered when we almost finished our entrees. And that's after we reminded the waiter who would disappear for a significant amount of time.My water glass was left empty in front of me. Not once did anyone bothered to be attentive and offer to bring water.Even drinks we ordered were delivered 20 minutes later. Mind you, it was a cold evening and we were maybe one of the 5 or 6 tables in the entire place. As for the Mediterranean Seabass: swimming in spicy red sauce. No real chef would destroy the taste of such delicate and mild fish with such amount of overpowering sauce. One of us couldn't take more than 3 bites without taking a gulp of water to quench the heat. Unless the fish isn't that fresh, and you'd want to cover up the taste. So no matter how you cut it, it's a miserable reason. And they charge 18% gratuity! That's it for me. 3 times is a good number of times to give a place a chance.
Be the first to ReplyWe came to this restaurant for valentines we reserved our
We came to this restaurant for valentines we reserved our table two weeks in advance after reviewing the menus options and seating ... to include looking into the extended forecast. So here's how it went. The reservation site asked some choice requests such as inside or out... we chose inside. Next question set menus or regular.. we chose regular! So to our surprise we were seated outside and only offered the set menu. Of which little was what we would have ever ordered! Given that it's Valentine's leaving to go somewhere else was not an option because restaurants are made weeks in advance. I will start with the fact our server (Garo) was very apologetic and attentive. The starters were selected for us, and were decent probably won't order ever again, the steak was cooked good and a little salt and pepper did just the trick. Ultimately our waiter (Garo) saved the evening! But hard to swallow spending 95 per person when you had planned on ordering different foods in a different environment, based on the provided information! I started out with a two star, I would have given a 4 had the expectations had not been soooo misrepresented in the reservation process.
Be the first to ReplyA friend and I went to MYA this evening to have a drink and
A friend and I went to MYA this evening to have a drink and appetizer. I live in the neighborhood and had been wanting to check it out. The ambiance and view was lovely. Our glass of wine and appetizer (flatbread) was yummy. Big surprise was the detail on the bill...which we didn't notice until after we left (lesson learned). Our party of two, who stayed for just over an hour was charged an 18% service fee AND a 3% "kitchen appreciation fee". Total BS. Prior to seeing the detail we had already tipped 18-20%. I can understand a service fee included for a larger party, but really? They should be upfront with their policy. Will NOT be returning...greedy, ridiculous practice.
Be the first to ReplyHorrible service and I was served rotten fish.
It was so bad my friends and I had to leave - the food untouched - we paid and left without eating more than a bite but my entire party agreed it was inedible - I was promised a refund and was charged full price
Be the first to ReplyWe had the worst service here for NYE.
Is starts with bus boy pretending to be our server and getting our drinks and then an hour later still no drinks. And it was already 10 pm and still no food or drinks. Had to wait go and wave to another server and finally found a true server. Don't know if we will come back here for another event because of the service. Trust.
