Great ambiance for a business dinner with customers or a romantic evening with your better half. Had the wagyu ribeye, which was fantastic!
Be the first to ReplyAwesome views and Impeccable service throughout the meal.
Came with my wife's aunt and husband. We split the garden salad and each portion was huge. I had the Burnt Orange Old-Fashioned which is a mixture of rye and Buffalo Trace bourbon aged in a barrel with a carmelized orange mixture over a huge monogrammed ice cube. Loved it. My wife said her scallops were some of the best she ever had. Rack of lamb was good enough. Be sure to wear a collared shirt! They'll turn you away if you're in a t-shirt! Try and sit outside! Valet is $12 otherwise you're parking on the street.

It was our first time and heard good things. I called to get help as I couldn't find the valet. The receptionist wasn't very helpful but answered my questions. I told her I tried to find the valet and circled it 7 times. I finally found valet and I was sat immediately. The whole restaurant was empty and they sat me near the door to the patio next to the bar, this is here waiters were constantly walking / talking etc. I was sitting taking in the view when the waitress Tiffany greeted me from behind ... she was rude , looked tired and asked if I wanted the wine list. I said I don't but my friend may want to look at it. I excitedly picked up the menu and asked what she recommended. She replied coldly " I'll tell you and your friend when she arrives" and walked away. We each ordered a drink. I ordered a tequila soda with tajin on the rim. When it came it was flat, the waitress never checked to see how the drinks were. My friend got up and asked the bartender if my drink could be remade . I asked for tequila on the rocks with takin and club soda in a separate cup. The waitress showed up with a glass of tequila and soda on the rocks. She never apologized for the flat drink , when I explained this wasn't what I wanted she was argumentative , it was clear she wasn't trying to help or understand me. I said forget the drink I'll have water. She asked again about the soda and I explained again finally she decided she could understand and came back with what I ordered. She could tell I was upset never asked how to fix it never brought a manager. I looked at my friend and she said let's pay for our drinks and leave. We weren't welcomed when we came and the vibe was off. I wish we had been treated better. We literally came for a good time and I was disappointed we didn't get a cool , nice server. Tiffany literally hates her job and she had the worst energy. On our way out the hostess asked how things were I told her horrible and she asked if there's anything she could do I said no. Ambiance sucked , service sucked, drinks were not good and never tried the food.

I recently dined at Mister A's in San Diego and it was an unforgettable experience. The restaurant boasts an unparalleled view of the city, which added to the already amazing atmosphere.I ordered the Pork Belly, Lobster Pot Pie, and the Mac and Cheese and I have to say, each dish was perfectly executed and delicious. The Pork Belly was melt-in-your-mouth tender, the Lobster Pot Pie was rich and hearty, and the Mac and Cheese was the ultimate comfort food. But what really made the evening special was our server, Ben. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and wine pairings, and provided top-notch service throughout the meal.Overall, I would highly recommend Mister A's to anyone looking for a fine dining experience in San Diego. The food, atmosphere, and service were all top-notch and definitely deserving of a 5-star rating.

Be the first to ReplyI think the view is great.
The food was just okay for that level of cooking. The service was good. I think it's a nice place to take someone to wow them with the view.

When you come off the elevator, the women at the check-in desk are very friendly and accommodating. The manager immediately came over and took us to our table even though we were 25 minutes early. It was about 530 and nobody was there so it was fantastic. Quiet and we felt like we have the whole place to ourselves. Our server, Katrina was amazing. Extremely experienced, professional, and friendly. We had some fantastic oysters, although a little pricey, we loved them. Some comments from my table were the risotto was outstanding, loved the pork belly, the cosmopolitan's are fabulous. Although we ordered rack of lamb medium, it was very very raw. We were having such a good time. I didn't want to send it back. We had a great Pinot noir from the Russian River others at our table loved their margaritas and Negroni's. I did ask for our table of 10 to be seated by the window but instead we were up against the back wall which was a little difficult because there was only one way in and out for the people who are sitting up against the wall. The view is always fabulous. All in all we had a great time.
Be the first to ReplyWonderful experience celebrating our wedding anniversary.
Every dish was delicious and well prepared. The Pork Belly was both of our favorites. The ambiance was very romantic and classy, unfortunately our reservation happened to be for a rainy, very foggy evening in San Diego, but it was still an overall beautiful atmosphere. Our server Kateryna was very attentive and helpful, as were all the other service staff. We will definitely be back in the future, hopefully when the weather adds to the experience.
