Terrible service! Food was not fresh and tasted like they had fished it out of a trash can. Was treated so rudely by the employees that I will never return to any of these locations.
Be the first to ReplyI came here after visiting the Whitney.
Miznon is located in Chelsea Market and is one of few locations with seating reserved for its patrons. Honestly, that was the driving factor for choosing Miznon over more popular places inside. You order at the counter and they give you a small stand with a letter or number so they can find you once you sit down. The service was prompt and everyone was friendly! I ordered the broken rotisserie chicken pita, which was solid. It was packed full of chicken that tasted great. I do wish it came with tomatoes, lettuce, or other fresh vegetables inside because it was almost only chicken with some sauce, cooked green onions, and some spicy peppers on top. It's missing freshness that would balance out the meal. Without all of that, it's just an overwhelming amount of chicken that makes it difficult to finish eating.
Be the first to ReplyOrder arrived early and while I was away from my phone.
Delivery person yelled at me (not knowing it was me who ordered) for not answering my phone saying he called 40 times despite waiting no more than 4 min. Additionally, specifically requested no scallions and the pita was full of scallions.

Stopped by Minion in Chelsea Market for some Israeli cuisine, and here's the scoop: staff was good, the food was alright, but when it came to value for money, things felt a bit off. It's like expecting a full symphony and getting a solo performance instead. Great spot if you're curious about the flavors, but your wallet might do a double-take at the check. #FoodieFinds #ChelseaMarketEats #MinionMeh #reviewaroundworld

My favorite place to eat in Chelsea market! The food is so fresh and absolutely delicious! The service is pretty quick and the system is easy. Super nice vibe with lots of seating! The pita is absolutely HEAVENLY, I've never tasted anything like it. I got the rib eye minute steak in a pita and the meat was so tender and delicious, the toppings were a great compliment of flavors. We also tried their famous roasted cauliflower which was also delicious but honestly just tasted like roasted cauliflower, nothing crazy. Still very good though and came with tahini sauce for dipping.

As weird as this may sound, I had really been on the search for chicken liver and jumped at the opportunity to have some in-pita. The flavors of this were amazing and really satiated the craving. I will say, it could have a little more structural integrity cause it got pretty messy really fast and for the price, I wish the portion sizes were bigger or at least came with a side.
Be the first to ReplyIsraeli street food, but indoors.
Jew'll love it! Lively location in Chelsea Market. The yummy "runover potato" is aptly named for street food. My wife ate here four times on her business trip because she loves the well-seasoned, hearty, saucy, mushroom pita on tender bread with green onion. The bag of green beans was a delicious change of pace (my green beans are usually yellow and fried and made of potatoes and probably French fries now that I think about it), but these green beans were almost inedible as served because they were coated in sea salt. If you don't want to be a Dr. Seuss character wiping each green bean you've seen clean, order them without salt.

Such a delicious meal in a pita! The pita was all buttered up inside, which gave a delightful fragrance. The ribeye steak was cooked perfectly and was so juicy and savoury. The combination of sauces elevated the flavors to the next level, it was a satisfying, surprising... "sandwich" (sorry). The pickles and tomato salsa balanced all the richness, providing a tanginess and sourness and crunch. Amazing tastes! But felt overpriced, as for $20, I felt a bit wanting more after finishing the meal.

Came to Miznon with two others and we all enjoyed our orders. The serving was very filling and they came out quick. The only downside is the hectic-ness of Chelsea market but that's not Miznon's fault! Would definitely come back.

My favorite burger place!! Very close to 7th st burger in manhattan. The flavors blend amazingly with garlic sauce, the mountain of cheese, and very crispy pickles!! The pita is also very very fluffy but wasn't soggy. The service is very nice and they clean up after you!

Still dreaming about this Rib-eye Minute Steak pita sandwich 24 hours later... this is a must-try in Chelsea Market! The meat was juicy and tender and the pita was fresh and soft. Packed with lots of flavor from the pickles, tomato salsa, and tahini. So good!

The food, the service, the place, all so good! Best pita bread I think I've ever had and the chicken had so much flavor. Will definitely stop in again on my next visit.

Pita stuffed with grilled mushrooms was delicious. It's in Chelsea Market.
Be the first to ReplyGreat energy in a spot with great food choices.
Ordered a lamb kabob and got back a very filling, generous portion of perfectly cooked meat with soft bread and sauce with bite. Price point was very good, as well.
Be the first to ReplyAwesome Israeli fare with a twist.
Flavors were fresh, portion sizes good.Prices are a little steep for a pita sandwich but it's worth a try if you're in the market.

Food (5/5): Ordered the steak and egg pita which was delicious. The meat was well made and tender with delicious sauces. The Pita bread was a good temperature and texture. Also enjoyed the dessert they gave our group. Overall an awesome experience.Service (5/5): Came in with a large group of 15 people and this was an amazingly convenient option. There was a lot of seating, each person could order individually and pay themselves, and food came out at a reasonable pace. They also gave us all free desserts which was awesome. Very friendly and awesome service.Ambiance & Venue (5/5): For a place in Chelsea Market, Miznon has a large and spacious seating area. There are tables and plenty of benches with napkins prepared. It's great for a large group who needs a space to sit and eat pickup food. The place was also clean with a nice open layout.

I was pleasantly surprised by the modern take on Israeli street food. I ordered the cheeseburger pita, which was a delicious combination of spiced meat, cheese, aioli, etc. The pita was also super fresh. Service was quick. Wasn't a huge fan of the ambiance or layout of the dining area, but this wouldn't stop me from returning.

This was a stop for us to get lunch! There was a long line - we had one person getting a table and the other two waited on line. We ordered a few things to share- chicken in pita and such. Good for salad and french fries in it too. Food is delicious but very messy. You need your wet naps! It's "street food" so this is the way to roll! It's in the Chelsea Market!

Went to Chelsea Market to grab some food before visiting Artechouse and decided to try Miznon. The Israeli inspired quick bite spot had a nice layout with tables, seats at a bar counter, and some bleacher style seats against the wall.Ordered a lamb kebab pita with everything and it was delicious. The pita sandwich came with freshly grilled onions, tomatoes, some greens, and one large lamb kebab. Best part of the sandwich was how fresh everything was, showing they that take their quality seriously. It is a tad on the pricey side, which may be the only downside.Overall, would definitely recommend if you're looking for a quick bite that's relatively healthy
Be the first to ReplyTruly shocked that baby cauliflower can be so delicious.
The sauces and side peppers and pita also on point!

Tasted great, but instant stomachache and lightheadedness shortly after eating :-(.

Ordered:Rib Eye Minute Steak Pita (~$16): with tahini, tomato salsa, pickles, and spicy green peppersRoast Beef Pita (~$14): with garlic aioli, mustard, pickles, tomato, spicy green peppers, and scallionsAya's take:Waited on line for over 30 minutes and it was semi-worth it! Never expected to pay $30+ for 2 sandwiches so but here we are. The pita bread is super warm and fresh. As a Middle Eastern person, it's one of the best pitas I've had. The Rib Eye Minute Steak Pita was absolutely delicious and the steak was well-seasoned. The Roast Beef Pita was a bit disappointing mainly because of how salty the roast beef was. It overpowered everything else. The fresh elements (pickles, tomato, spicy green peppers) gave the sandwiches a nice balance and you can't go wrong with tahini or garlic aioli. Overall, great try!
Be the first to ReplySo good.
Located in Chelsea market, the cauliflower is a must try- they have tons of vegetarian options; the FALAFEL burger is truly out of this world. So so so good and very filling. Service is wonderful. Enjoy!!

Damn! The place is cool; it's in Chelsea Market and has a cool layout. Stair stepped bleachers for casual sitting and eating and also some 2/4 person tables, along with a bar top and high top tables.I got the folded cheeseburger which comes in a pita which I saw recommended on the youtube from Mike Chang. It was pretty damn good. A lot of meat and cheese with some fresh vegetables in the pita. A pretty perfect combination of hearty and light. It's a good meal.!!!Definite come back spot. The service was not bad too; they do clean up after you when you're done.
