Highly recommend grilled calamari, Greek salad and bifteki. Service is friendly and efficient. Large simply decorated dining room echoes Athens.

Service was excellent. Food was very good. The meatballs were just like yiayias. Kalamari was also delicious. I had the chicken which was a little dry. The skordalia (garlic spread) needs work- too bland.Would definitely go there again.

The food was recommended by other patrons as we walked by and inquired. So we decided to give the place a try. Authentic Greek food. Delicious. Brought me back to my childhood.

Mythos has fresh food! Their meatballs and kalamari are delicious. The place is huge and they have been around for a long time . Experienced workers make Mythos a comfy and enjoyable restaurant .
Be the first to ReplyFood wasn't that good.
Iced tea tastes like water, absolutely flavorless. The water had something floating in it. And there was an opened sugar packed in the container. The bathroom lock is also broken. No Wi-Fi as well. There was also random ketchup on a random hand sanitizer thing we found in the corner. Wouldn't recommend. It's been about a month or two since I wrote the original review and today we ordered Mithos. When we were cutting the fried calamari, we saw that it still had the ink. They didn't clean it. Still wouldn't recommend
Be the first to ReplyMythos is a slice of Greece on Northern Blvd in Flushing.
The owners are always present, the wait staff is dedicated and professional. They are so revered by the community, the place tends to be busy, and as a result the merchandise moves, so the fish and produce are fresh. The chef at the grill is an absolute master: perfectly grilled calamari, octopus, fresh whole fish, juicy chicken and pork. Save room for traditional homemade dessert of baklava or galaktoboureko, or some fresh fruit and Greek coffee. Very reasonable prices for the quality at dinner. Insider tip: lunch is a total bargain, with reduced prices for the same delectable fare. Recommend.

Very nice quaint Greek restaurant that supplies all of the classics. Parking is tough, but plentiful enough to find metered spots. Service is great and so are all of the workers. Everything from appetizers to desserts are worth trying.

I have been here a few times - They always take good care of you when you go to Mythos. The food is excellent at reasonable prices and the space is large enough to accommodate large groups easily and not be too close together and they don't rush you out the door if you are the last group . I recommend checking them out.

Firstly, their food is merely pedestrian , at best, and clearly not worthy of their alleged Michelin rating. Additionally, their catering menu and service is significantly below par. I placed an order from their catering menu well in advance for the Thanksgiving holiday. After confirming by phone earlier in the day, that my catering order was ready for pick up, I travelled a significant distance to pick up my catering order on the agreed upon date and time. Well, upon my arrival I was advised by very rude young man that they did NOT have my order. Not only was this young man rude, but he offered absolutely no apology. I was forced to travel back to the restaurant on the following day, battling Thanksgiving traffic on both days. Nary an apology or any type accommodation from a customer service perspective for the major inconvenience only days before the Thanksgiving holiday. Further amplifying my frustration was the fact that I was charged $10 more for the catering item than the price listed on their now obviously outdated on line catering menu. Only surpassing their pedestrian food and their subpar catering service is the lack of any available parking for those traveling in their vehicles to patronize this location. There are so many better Greek restaurants only minutes way and in other sections of Queens a bit farther. A trip to Astoria is clearly warranted for far superior food than at Mythos. And during this most unfortunate time of COVID, not a single person working at Mythos was wearing a mask let alone checking patrons for proof of vaccination or negative test results......

Usually the food and service is good, but last three to four times I've been here it's been the same server (one of the guys in a darker blue shirt with longer curly hair) doing an extremely horrible job. It took him over thirty minutes to bring out the beans and dip for the bread, only after I asked him once and reminded him again ten or fifteen minutes later. Second, I ordered a rib steak med rare, it came out extremely well done. I told him this was not how I ordered it, he brings a second one bloody rare this time (and this after telling me the cost of the steak went up to $45) which was less than half in thickness as the first one. My sides were outright cold, and to make matters worse, were way less in portion size than they normally are. I should've just gone to Kyclades on bell, or taken the trip out to astoria and went to Elia's corner, where the quality of the food is always up to par and the service is outstanding every single time. That guy, whoever he is, needs to get fired and replaced immediately, he's going to be pissing off a lot of hungry patrons. Thanks, but no thanks. (They're lucky I'm even giving one star)

The food is so far not too attractive but only one thing that impressed me was the fried cheese , is crispy enough and flavorful. So disappointed about the steak , which is over cooked. It's amazing for family dinner which they have very open space to fit people in. But the seating set up is very too close to next party. I hope that will be more cautious about the distance even now all open up.
Be the first to ReplyNice spot I had a business lunch in.
Attentive and polite staff. Spacious interior. Great lunch specials that come w a side and a salad.I had the moussaka and a lemon chicken soup. Both could have done w a drop more salt but overall we're both tasty and solid portions. My colleagues had pork shishkabob w rice, grilled sausage and grilled chicken w Greek salad. All very nice. They give complimentary beans w dip and bread for app and then watermelon slices for dessert.Mythos, no def a fact that this place is - In!
