Native Noodles New York Reviews from The Last Year
Super fast takeout service, very friendly & kind.
The food is authentic and amazing. The Laksa Noodles (soup tastier than dry), Sayer Lodeh (coconut veggie stew), chili crab buns, and mango pudding were all standouts. Incredible tastes, super reasonable prices. Cannot wait to return.
"Cleary you never been to Singapore"! Native Noodles in NYC
"Cleary you never been to Singapore"! Native Noodles in NYC gives you the ultimate singaporean experience without the miles! Go get some noodles!
Pros: affordable, dense food that will keep you full.
Initially it looks like a small portion, but idk HOW but I always feel so full after I have a bowl of noodles from here. Some of my friends sometimes can't finish their bowl of noodles in one sitting. Cons: not a super nice sit down restaurant, could have been better ventilated. The front of the restaurant looks quite messy but understandable for a family owned business. Not the nicest dining experience, but my general feeling was good since I enjoyed the company of the people I dined there with. Pretty good food for the area and I will probably be back at some point!

This is a Singaporian hole in the wall spot in Washington
This is a Singaporian hole in the wall spot in Washington Heights near Columbia Presbyterian Hospital. I came here hungry after visiting my mom in the hospital. They have a limited menu. I tried their dry laksa noodles with pork and also their pork and shrimp wontons. I liked the wontons had a crispy skin. The filling needed more flavor and I am glad it came with a sweet chili sauce. The sauce on the laksa noodles was excellent, I loved the lemon grass and coconut flavor. The pork was flavorful and cooked well. However, the noodles were overcooked and soggy and the egg were overcooked as well making them rubbery with a brittle skin. There is no bathroom and limited seating. It seems like more of a takeout spot.

Came here a month ago after just moving to NY so I was very excited to see that there was Singaporean food option! The prices were very affordable and the food was very yummy. However this is not a good sit down restaurant! The restaurant had a foul smell to it that made it hard to enjoy the meal since it would overpower the food and there was no service at all despite sitting down. But that should have been a given because their bowls and utensils were all take out. If you want to come here, highly recommend taking it home to eat!
Sad to say that this place was the most disappointing
Sad to say that this place was the most disappointing eatery during our trip in NY, especially when we went out of our way to come here. I don't know why it has such high ratings. I've had better Singaporean food at many other mom & pop shops. I really really wanted to like this place. The only thing that was decent & worth the price were the crispy potato patties. It was the most unappealing item as the 3 patties looked burnt, but they were packed with flavor. Nice size, too. The Chili Crab Buns were just ok, & very basic. You can tell that the buns are from a dinner roll tube by their shape (they were rounds cut into halves & then fried). I used to fry those type of dinner rolls when I was a kid, so I know the texture & taste. The "crab" sauce was a cold flavorless tomato sauce with a tiny bit of crab meat that didn't taste like crab meat. It was weird to dip the hot fried buns into the cold tomato sauce. This made me sad. The Laksa stew had good flavor. The lemongrass aroma was amazing. However, the rice noodles were overcooked. They were soggy. So sad. The most disappointing item was the Wonton Dumpling Noodles. The braised soy sauce came in a ONE oz to-go container & the egg noodles were super dry with zero flavor. The 3 small pieces of fried wontons tasted stale. I had to drink a lot of water to help push the dried noodles down my throat. After 3 bites I lost my appetite. This dish was a total let down. I was devastated. The quality of these dishes do not match their menu prices. Although the A/C was running, the sliding door was completely open so we could feel all the heat from outside. I don't know why they did that. It caused a lot of condensation to drip through the vents. Even the water from their dispenser was warm. We drank a lot of it to try & stay cool, & for me to be able to swallow the dried egg noodles. & then guess what? They have NO RESTROOMS.
I was excited to go here to try what I though would be
I was excited to go here to try what I though would be great food. The location wasn't much to look at and it had the basic hole in the wall ambiance, so for the price I paid I was expecting some really good food or at least a decent portion. I got neither, the food was subpare and for the price we got really small portions(think fine dinning portions). Laska plus shrimp is $13+$1.50 The paste had a great lemongrass and coconut curry flavor, but the noodles could not hold up to it and were super soft and over cooked. Shrimps were ok. Chili crab bun $8 This was just weird we got 4 fried bun the size of half a clementine and a cold sweet tomato sauce with a small lump of crab thrown in it. Wonton dumpling noodle $12.50 This dish was the most disappointing. The noodles were very bland and the dumplings were fried wontons which seemed like they were frozen for a long time. Crispy potato patties(Begedil) $7.50 This was the only saving grace. The patties although looken a bit dark and over cooked, tasted good and had decent value. If I only ordered this item I would have goven this place 4 stars The service was good and the staff was friendly.
Delicious spicy noodles.
Inexpensive and fast. A little hard to feel ms the first time.
Not just noodles!
Oh, go! It's a busy hole in the wall in the Columbia Presbyterian Hospital area. Friendly, fast service and interesting food. We went twice in a week.

Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.

Working on your bid? |
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted. |
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from? |
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered? |
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
Newbie sellers— how fast do your reservations sell?
I have some reservations coming up tomorrow that have gotten lots of views but haven’t sold yet. I haven’t made a sale yet since I just joined this week. I keep lowering the price, but am worried they won’t sell. How long did it take you to sell your first reservations? And did you have success being reimbursed by AT for no-show or cancellation fees? Just looking for a little reassurance. Thanks!

I have posted a screen shot of the phone conversation on the listing, but it keeps getting rejected. If anyone has an idea how I can get it approved that would be much appreciated, thanks!

Give the best answerConcierge change fulfillment time
I posted a request for a reservation this Thursday between 6:30 and 8 pm and initially the potential seller said it would be fulfilled by today. Now they changed it that they will only fulfill it by 5pm that same day. Basically I would have an hour and a half to get to the restaurant. Is this allowed?

This app is a catfish and overrun by people programming “bots” and algorithms. It makes it frustrating for someone not well versed in this to have any movement. I thought this would be a fun side hustle, but unfortunately it’s become like any other “side hustle”. Don’t waste your time with this crap. Not a question, just a suggestion. Also don’t pay these fake “gurus” hundreds of dollars to teach you. Might as well sign up for a software class. 😕
