A beautiful soho hotel with remarkable views, a lovely ambience but with a few glitches. My room was spacious and spotless but lacking any glasses or cups. How does one brush their teeth or drink tap water to take a pill? Never seen a hotel room without them. Also my shears had snags and the edges of the wooden furniture had nicks. Comfy bed, and luxurious shower. But the hotel has no vending or ice machines, so that was inconvenient after hours.
Be the first to ReplyThis hotel was very nice.
It was pretty and the workers were very polite. We did have to ask for a few things for the room. We had to ask for a refrigerator, to make the pull out sofa into a bed, and a tea kettle. There weren't any tea kettles left. However, there was a coffee and tea cart by the check in desk. This made up for the fact that coffee machines were not available in the room. I recommend calling ahead and making sure there is a refrigerator, tea kettle, and that the sofa is made into a bed if you will be using it. The location is also great. It's just down the street from little Italy, Chinatown, and fun shopping.

The heater in the room it's not working , the room temperature now it's on 59 , nobody is giving me a solution on this matters , I can't sleep and I feel sick from the cold, dirty rooms and poor management . Got the most expensive room and that's what I got
Be the first to ReplyDo not stay here.
This place has bed bugs. We checked into and my husband checks the mattress in every hotel we stay at to make sure. He's smart. Any hotel can have it. I see red spots everywhere I take photos we immediately leave to go to the lobby to calmly explain the situation. I say hey we have a problem the first word out of the front desk mouth I shit you not he said "bugs"?. I said yes. He said I can give you another room. Who would stay in a hotel that has bed bugs!??? That's like saying hey this rooms on fire you want to go to stay in another one above it? No I need a refund I need to leave. You now inconvenienced me because I have to find a place to stay quickly and I'm freaked out because your hotel is gross. I talk to the manger and she "pretends" to care. I show her the photos she doesn't question what her eyeballs are seeing. She says she wants to make this "right" I say thank you. As this is happening another guest had to move her room because she had a an issue with mold and mildew. This is all in 6 minutes. Can you imagine what you would hear if you sat in the lobby for 30 minutes. I was told I would get a refund from them. They said I had to talk to Priceline first I did. They talked with the hotel and they said there was no issue and since we pulled the sheets back I can't get the refund. I will be making a claim to Priceline, the hotel and the nyc health department. Don't fuck with me.

Stayed here 5 nights, was beautiful walking in very nice staff on the opening floor, when getting to my room the bed frame was peeling, the light next to the bed was broken, the shower handle was faulty, and the corners of the bathroom were dusty and looked yellow. When it came time for checkout at the end of our stay we were handed our bill as we were walking out the door just to look at it on our way to the airport and see we were slammed with a $500 BOGUS smoking charge. we in fact did not smoke. After traveling back home, went and called nomo soho and asked them why we were charged with this fee when we did not smoke. they said they would send over a smoking report "when the detector triggered" and it said between 3:15-3:25 am. and that was the single and only time it "triggered". i was dead asleep. I told them i do not want to be charged with this fee as it's incorrect and they wouldn't do anything about it. I always called with respect and a good attitude and i was met with complete disrespect from the manager who lectured me and treated me like a child. I wish i read the reviews on this hotel before booking. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL
Be the first to ReplyI stayed at NoMo SoHo and was thoroughly disappointed.
The bed was uncomfortable, and the bathroom offered little privacy. However, what truly soured my experience was the unjust $500 smoking fee they charged us. Despite not smoking in the room, they refuse to refund it, displaying blatant disregard for customer honesty. Avoid this establishment at all costs.
Be the first to ReplyWorst customer service.
Won't allow you to make any changes or requests! Please book with a BRAND hotel and don't waste your money!
Be the first to ReplyThey are charging me a smoking fee when I DO NOT SMOKE.
I was never told of the $573 fee at check out, saw the charge on my credit card a few days later. I called the hotel, they said they would look into it and get back to me, as yet no response, they are avoiding the issue. Steer clear of this place, it seems this is on ongoing practice at this hotel, a way to boost your bill with no recourse. Very disappointing.

Was doing a one night staycation with my gf to celebrate a new job. The room was underwhelming and food at the restaurant was just fine, but way over priced. That was all fine we were celebrating and it was just one night so we weren't sweating it too much. Upon checkout there was a charge for two drinks on the room that we had not ordered, I paid for our dinner with my credit card. We disputed at checkout and they told us that they took the drinks off. A day later I am paying my credit card bill and see they have charged me an additional $658 dollars. I called to get to the bottom of it and after over an hour of trying to get someone on the phone who would just tell me what the charge was found out it was a $500 smoking fee, a drink charged to the room and tax. Neither of us smoke and apparently the alarm tripped moments after we entered the room. I also found out that although they said they had taken the drinks off at checkout they had really only taken one off and were still charging $31 for a shot of tequila we did not order. Trying to get it squared away but really bad taste in our mouths. I see there are multiple reviews stating the same thing and the person I am talking to even admitted they have had lots of complaints about the smoke system. We have done multiple staycations in the city over the years, but this left us feeling a bit like they are trying to scam us. Maybe it's just bad luck and hopefully it gets resolved soon, but with the fraudulent drink charges to the room and the smoking fee when we dont smoke I think I would suggest avoiding this place. There are plenty of great hotels in the city.
Be the first to ReplyVery average.
Not sure how it made it on the Platinum AmEx list but better options elsewhere unless you're on a tight tight budget
Be the first to Replymy cousin and i went to this hotel.
i had left a bar with her when we went to the manager front desk asking for a new room key. he had let her in the night before, and was very rude about it. when we called over our friend, he easily gave her multiple keys to both rooms without hesitation. honestly the only thing nice is the location and decor, overall nothing special, especially the service. no coffee pots, fridges, very open and slightly moldy bathroom. brocken ac and terrible customer service. i'm not picky on hotels, but not coming back again. save yourself the money ! :(
Be the first to ReplyI stayed at the NoMo Soho in December and while the stay
I stayed at the NoMo Soho in December and while the stay itself was fine, I found out after my stay that there was an additional $401 charge for my stay. I called the hotel to verify and they are claiming that there was a cracked mirror in my room during my stay which led to this $401 charge. Never in my life have I seen anything like this - there was no communication from the hotel that I would be getting this charge so I had to reach out myself, and no evidence that any of this damage was from my stay. I did not complain when the reception rudely checked me in, nor when they added an additional $160 charge to my stay for my dog, but this is ridiculous. If a hotel can indiscriminately bill its guests for random amounts on claims of damages that there is no evidence of, that is a place anyone should ever stay. I will NEVER be staying at this hotel again, this is one of the worst customer experiences of my life.

This was my first time at Nomo for dinner and I was really expecting more. The ambience was really inviting, but the waitstaff were extremely inattentive. It took 35 minutes for my waitress to come back after taking our drink orders... the restaurant was not full at all. I got the ricotta gnocchi with mushrooms for my main. My food was cold and the mushrooms were salty. I couldn't even finish my meal. This place seems like a vibe for brunch, but the food really fell short.

The only thing nice about this property is the location and that's about it. Giving this place two stars because they did have a couple of bell desk staff that were super helpful.Property itself could use some updating. Carpet in the rooms did not look clean. Hallway paint is scuffed. Also, they apparently "close down" the lobby even for hotel guests, so if you are out late and want to hang out in the lobby you can't.One of the night staff from the reception looked like he did not want to be there.
Be the first to ReplyMy husband and I went to NY for a short getaway.
We stayed here at NOMO and thought it was a cute hotel at first. Very artsy look. The front desk sounded very accommodating, at first. We went to our room to drop off our luggage and noticed only one towel so we asked the front desk for more towels and they said they would send it right up. We didn't get more towels until housekeeping the next day. The bartender was knowledgeable but the bar didn't have much for liqueurs and wasn't able to make well-known drinks. Ok well, that is fine however, the worst was when getting out of bed the next morning there was an orange-colored fingernail in the bed. Not even close to my color.
Be the first to ReplyThis hotel is in a great location, that's the only plus.
I checked in to the hotel and went to my room, there was no TV remote which I let the concierge know about and one was brought to my room promptly. The TV still wouldn't turn on so I called the front desk to let them know and someone was sent to fix the problem. Couldn't fix it so I was moved to a different room. When I got to the new room the key didn't work, the room phone didn't work and it was smaller than the original room. I was moved yet again to a higher floor but that room had a heavy urine odor so guess what?? I was moved to my 4th room! This room wasn't the best but I was so tired I just accepted it as I was just staying for 1 night, a relaxing staycation (or so I thought). To add insult to injury I checked my account and I had a $400 charge on my CC that I used for the hold. I am a traveler so I know about hotels putting a hold on your account but $400!!! is preposterous. When I called to ask about it I was told if you book through a 3rd party they put a hold of $350 w/o explanation to their guests, along with a $49.50 resort fee. If I wouldn't have been able to buy my Beyoncรฉ tix I would've driven down there and caused hell. Overall this was not the relaxing experience I planned for it, just added to my headache

Really amazing dinner and generous portions! The drinks and food were delicious and the dining room was beautifully decorated--great for a date night or a group dinner out and perfect size portions for sharing also!
Be the first to ReplyGreat location in SoHo.
Perfect for exploring SoHo, Chinatown, Little Italy and Nolita. If the weather had been warmer, would have walked more, but with nightly dips down to single digits, so happy to hop on the Canal Street Subway 700 feet away to explore NYC and Brooklyn. The hotel itself has such a fun, artsy entry. Love the graffiti on the walls and the floral, lighted archway leading to the front door. The lobby has a small coffee bar and opens to a restaurant. The King Room was small with a king bed, small desk and chair and a small sink. Windows are floor to ceiling. No other furniture or amenities in the room. WiFi was slow despite being part of the $40 plus tax daily amenity fee. We did ask for a way to make hot tea and they brought up an electric tea kettle to boil water and cups, but no tea bags or way to make coffee in the room. Fortunately, I always travel with tea bags. One of the biggest issues was that the heater had challenges keeping up with the single digit weather outside. We called and were told that it is an older building and to crank up the heat which we did. From the 70s to the 80s to the 90s and above until the heat finally kicked in. We were able to drop it back down later, but it took a while to warm the room. We talked to a couple of ladies at checkout who never had heat in their room during their stay. They did provide extra blankets for them, though. The other surprise was that the front desk had such limited knowledge of public transit. When I called prior to arrival, we were told that the closest stop is at Prince Street. Actually, there are five Canal Street stops within a block or two. The Spring Street stop is just 3-4 blocks away. They were always willing to call a cab, though. (You can actually take the R line from Canal Street to the Q70 to get to LGA). Services provided by the daily $40 amenity fee were limited. Nice to get two bottles of spring water on arrival, but would have been nice to get two water bottles per day. WiFi was slow. Too cold to use the CitiBikes. Able to use the luggage service for a couple of hours.
Be the first to ReplyTeeny tiny room even by Manhattan standards.
The hotel also skimps on various amenities: there is no mini-bar or fridge and definitely no slippers, bathrobe, or even water glass. But what the hotel lacks in room size and amenities it makes up for in location, situated steps from Soho, LES, and Chinatown and a short walk from Equinox gym and the Crosby Hotel. Tons of excellent eats here including the iconic Balthazar. The hotel also sports a wonderful restaurant of its own with a bar that is no far from shabby.

Unfortunately will never say here again! Have stayed here 3 other times and never have I been dealt with such rudeness and gaslighting behavior from TYLER! They charge you all this crap on your card without you knowing and don't rectify it! Upon check in during Christmas weekend we had multiple issues with both rooms..(toilets, shower, smoke smell, heater was broken and never fixed, and door locks kept staying unlocked unless I called security 2848583 times to come fix it) due to the discrepancies we spoke to front desk about our resort fees which was unfair due to the fact that we kept running into the same issues. Upon check out she reassured me that she would go ahead and take care of us and that we were good to go (I should mention our flight was delayed and we were in a hurry to get out) so I trusted her word! I definitely shouldn't have because she made 0 adjustments and when I realized 3 days later and called to let them know. Spoke to the "director" TYLER who is upon the meanest rudest person I have ever met..he is passive aggressively telling me that I am wrong and that I was never told anything about a refund. Finally after going back and forth in his rude demeanor he says I'll go ahead and process your refund and hung up the phone on me! I asked for email confirmation which I never received..so now I called them because I have yet to see the refund come thru and he is now telling me something completely never discussed. I don't understand how someone like him can work in customer service and be so incredibly rude and condescending! I never write reviews because I never want to spread negative energy but I am so beyond upset and humiliated by this guy that I felt compelled to write this. I just can not believe that this is how he's treated me twice now! After all this he still doesn't help me correct the error and somehow the line got "disconnected" again! Corporate will also be hearing about this!!! THIS NEEDS TO BE RESOLVED IN A CUSTOMER SERVICE FASHION!
Be the first to ReplyHow I love sushi!! It was very fresh and succulent.
Great service. Will come back again for sure.

I'm writing this review to WARN all the readers:This place had charged me 3 TIMES for the stay. I paid in advance when I booked the hotel. When I arrived to the stay the told me they'll place a 150$ hold per night and charge me amenities fees of 40$ approx. I was OK with that and gave them my credit card. When I checked out (till today, almost two weeks since) I have on my account 4 different charges from nomo soho, random amount of almost $4k!! NON of these amounts are actually matching any of the rates/ invoices for the service we received. Simply over charged me. I tried to contact them for over a week. Beside one phone call and email admitting they over charged me- I never received my money back and now I do not get and calls/ email back. I have talked with multiple workers of Nono, explaining to them again and again about the incident, non of them actually did anything. That was huge time wasting. So be aware and look over your charges !!
Be the first to Replyterrible hotel.
holiday weekend and the lounge was closed and the restaurant didn't open until 8 am and was freezing cold they charge $40 on top of cost of hotel room per day for amenities including unsecured wifi. we needed to up grade and they charged us $77 just to make the change. the air conditioner made loud noise all the time. the bathroom door opened onto the work desk and the small rooms are filled with too much furniture. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Be the first to ReplyBooked 5 nights at the Nomo Soho, and had to leave after 2.
They are refusing to refund us for the nights we didn't stay. The first room they gave us reeked of cigarette smoke. We were given a new room, but the water bottles in the room were half drank, the carpet needed to be vacuumed (there was even used floss by the bed), and we saw 3 different cockroaches in our room during our stay. My boyfriend woke up with a bite on the back of his leg and arm, which is when we decided to leave. We were only given two small towels and never encountered housekeeping to get new waters, towels, or to empty the trash. Rooms have good view and the location is great, but we shouldn't have to pay for nights we didn't stay due to these circumstances.

If you want an overpriced hostel with a instagram worthy entrance go for it! stayed here for the past 5 nights. Never experienced such rude staff before. They all seem to hate their job. When we arrived at 1130 at night the front desk person had there feet kicked up and shoes off. Said two words to us and gave us our keys. The dude was so rude. I usually don't write reviews but this place was so trash i had too. Once we got to the room we realized there was no fridge. You have to request a fridge! so ridiculous. Terrible stay and won't be coming back. They charge you an amenities fee but have no amenities lmfao. Like seriously this place is a scam.
