Wonderful lunch
Wonderful lunch. Pace of dishes is good and staff are nice and friendly. Chef is very warm to guest too. Will be back for the full menu.
Be the first to ReplyExpress lunch is small
Ordered the express lunch with supplements (upgraded to wagyu beef main and extra dessert). Because the portions were small and the flavors light, we were still hungry afterwards and had to share a sandwich elsewhere to fill up. I liked dessert the most (chocolate with chili and sardines and a marshmallow spring roll.) Service was good. Overall, the restaurant was good, not great. If a friend invited me, I'd go, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here.
Be the first to ReplyGO ELSEWHERE: WORST MICHELIN RESTAURANT EVER
Let me start with the most important part: GO ELSEWHERE. . For perspective, without going into the details, I have about 300 Michelin meals per year (I know, don't laugh ...) I ended up here because of a calendar coincidence. Every touch-point with this restaurant showed cheapness, arrogance, and a sense of entitlement. I thought it might have been the specific staffs I dealt with. Only after I finished my notes, I read the reviews: many consumers shared my experience, including when dealing DIRECTLY with the chef and the manager. Those review match even in the details, no need to repeat. Undeserving of our star, but Nouri and its chef are insulting. @michelinguide: report coming soon. Need to rectify rating.
Be the first to ReplyTheatre Experience with Food
Absolutely fantastic. From the moment you walk in through the door your experience starts. You are welcomed, your hands are cleansed then off to your seat to experience the flavours of the world. Every dish has a story with a past and is explained by the very well trained staff. It’s like being at a theatre of food. Amazing. Such a memorable experience of wonderful flavours. Definitely will be going back. After dinner you can go upstairs for another glass of wine or two or cocktail and listen to records being played in a very comfortable lounge setting. Staff are lovely and a very good wine selection. 🙏🍷
Be the first to ReplyExcellent Food and Good Experience
Lovely experience at the restaurant. Food was really very unique in tasting and portion was relatively decent. Just need to note about cancellation policy which is a very hefty amount.
Be the first to ReplyWonderful evening, if in Singapore try it out..amazing.
Fabulous restaurant& experience, staff were so knowledgeable about the food, presentation & taste was exceptional, if you are a foodie you should try this place out..
Be the first to ReplyThe food was good but not full....
The service and food were great! Only "the portion " of the food is unsatisfactory. I've been to quite a few fine dining restaurants, but most fine dining restaurants usually fill you up. I'm disappointed that this restaurant isn't one of them.
Be the first to ReplyFusion
Tried this “european” michelin star restaurant. They use many singaporean, asian, indian and middle eastern spices and ingredients, so it’s pretty fusion rather than european
Service was ok
9/10
Decent food but not memorable
Dine in for dinner on a Sunday evening, which was fairly quiet initially but tables were full towards the later part of the evening.
Service overall was good.
Nothing too much, or nothing to little.
Food was good for the price I guess but not memorable.
To be very honest, I cannot recall any dish that made me go "wow" or any dish that left me an impact.
Will I return? Guess not.
I would spend my money to try other options available.
Wonderful Lunch!
Greet by friendly staff upon arrival and we were allowed to choose any seat. Took the counter seats with ray of sunlight above us, so that nice photo could be taken. We had the 5 course lunch. From starter till dessert, everything was perfect. We returned every plate completely empty to the service staff lol. That showed how much we appreciate the food. Been to many fine dining restaurants, Nouri did gave a deep impression after this lovely gastronomic experience.
Be the first to Replygreat food, excellent service
we had 2 sets of the tasting menu, and the dishes were each patiently explained by the wonderful and friendly staff - Scallop Pumpkin entre, Abalone and Pear, Acaraje and Vatapa, Strawberry and Kimchi, Tumeric Grouper, Pigeon Marmalade, Pre Desserts, Borscht, Mignardises.. was an enjoyable experience, with the friendly owner/chef coming by to chat as well
Be the first to ReplyExcellent service and food
Booked as a second birthday meal after a not very satisfactory one the night before. This was more like it.
On arrival shown to the table and settled in in a calm and professional manner, not easy in the se days of vaccination and temperature checking.
There is only the Chefs tasting menu and we opted for that, substituting the pigeon for a wagyu beef course.
There was an ample and excellent wine pairing, each element being explained by the knowledgeable and enthusiastic servers.
The bread, served with a broth and an intricate silken cheese dip was lovely and it was tempting to eat too much of it !
The amuse bouche of a pepper leaf cone filled with caviar etc. and a creamed dip was tasty and well thought out.
The pumpkin and scallop with a pumpkin consommé was very interesting.
I am not a huge fan of abalone but this one, served in a barley broth was very tasty.
The fritter of Acarajé and Vatapá served in a turmeric and laksa style sauce was truly lovely.
The strawberry and tomato salad was a refreshing boost to the palate before the Vietnamese styled fish which was a thoughtful well balanced dish
the Wagyu was a little overcooked for me and had lost a little flavour for it.
The pre- dessert mandarin confection was refreshing and zest to the tongue and palate. the dessert was a deconstructed variation of Ukrainian borscht . I was intrigued to see and taste this and it was excellent.
The Mignardises were creative thoughtful and a real birthday greeting/ treat, a birthday micro cheesecake.
the 7 wines in the pairing were delightful and only one kind of missed the mark, (the Lebanese rose)
Not cheap but exceptionally well done. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable le and enthusiastic, the place was intimate and cosy.
Memorable experience
Has held our personal spot as favorite restaurant in Singapore.
Went with girlfriend for dinner on a sleepy Wednesday evening.
Almost a 3 hour dining experience. Ambiance is cozy but contemporary and artsy too.
We really enjoyed the Lily Senorita drink option, though it seems it's no longer available in town.
Great service food is oke
Dinner with friends at nouri,
First impression was good. Warm welcome by the service staff. Seated in restaurant with open kitchen. Service staff was good and they where funny, they explained all the dishes. Food was ok not blown away for a michelin star restaurant. But we did have a great evening
Creatively Evolved. Innovative yet traditional. Loved it
Lovely ambiance. Day time has a lovely aura of light. Given by the sky light. Kitchen is mostly in front of you so there is "action" . Found the dishes creative and innovative but not too far from the center. which is something i love about this cuisine. Not too innovative that i don't get it (call me old school) but tease me a little so i can try some thing a bit different. Dishes had fresh nuances, wonderfully presented. 5 star service to the team. Judging from the dishes, i also think the chef would do an amazing Vegetarian menu if that tickles your fancy. I want to try check out Appetite Upstairs.
