We were shown a private room since I'm guessing they don't have seating for six in the main dining room. Our server, Holly, was friendly and knowledgeable on all the dishes. We started with the bread basket, oysters, calamari, caviar devile

We started at the bar for happy hour, and Rafa and Kevin were amazing--friendly, attentive, and made the experience fun. The truffle popcorn? Addictive. Calamari was okay--crispy like fried chicken, but nothing unforgettable. The crab cake and oyster
I had a bad encounter with a bad bartender named Sean.
When I mean bad, I mean bad. I first noticed Sean's bad behavior as he hurriedly took my drink order without making eye contact with me. I ordered a Mojito and was surprised that it came back within minutes. There wasn't one leaf of mint i

Upscale Dining with Impressive Execution for a Large Group
Had a large business dinner (20+ folks) in a private room at Ocean Prime in downtown Chicago, and they handled it with the kind of polish you hope for but rarely get with a crowd that size. From the moment we sat down, service was attentive without b

Ocean Prime - Sometimes Prime, Sometimes Mediocre
Came here on a Sunday evening for dinner: food was great, particularly the warmed bread basket and the sea bass; service was excellent and unrushed; prices a bit high but understandable given that the fish was fresh - rated 5. Came back on Tuesday ev
Very good
Came with a group of friends. Service and atmosphere was very good. Menu options are vast. Food is tasty. Close to the river and get a good view. Would come again for good seafood in a nice location.
Skip this restaurant.
Skip It! Lots of other restaurants in Chicago to choose from. We had an early dinner reservation, 5pm, as we were attending a show at 730pm. We were seated as soon as we arrived. Water followed soon after and eventually a bread basket. That was it. N

Excellent Restaurant Week Menu
Went here for Chicago Restaurant Week. They have an excellent menu for that Week. Great seafood choices and a balanced menu. Wine list is solid. It wasn’t busy the night we dined, so the noise level was acceptable. However I could see the restauran
Connect with users posting reservations for Ocean Prime Chicago
AppointmentTrader is a community-driven platform where users can exchange their reservations or leverage their personal relationships with Ocean Prime Chicago. Buyers can make informed decisions using automated seller ratings, which reflect past transactions and reliability.
Each posting on AppointmentTrader shows you which user submitted it and along with that provides a trackrecord of that user which indicates how much experience
the user has and how many percent of their transactions resulted in them issuing a refund.
If there is no user posting that fits your schedule, you can bid on your preferred time.
Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Ocean Prime Chicago at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Ocean Prime Chicago page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* EternalAnt36, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's $200 bid.
* EternalAnt36 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to EternalAnt36 for any questions Peter may have as EternalAnt36 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* EternalAnt36 now uses their connections at Ocean Prime Chicago to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If EternalAnt36 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, EternalAnt36 receives the $200 reward which is credited to EternalAnt36's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Ocean Prime Chicago!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
