Olivella’s Pizza and Wine Dallas Reviews from The Last Year
Favorite pizza place in all of Dallas.
Everything from their Neapolitan style pizza (if you don't like Neapolitan you'll probably not like their pizza, but personally I love Neapolitan) to their pasta dishes to the salads is great. Desert pizza is so good. Can get very busy some nights but often very chill. Servers are always attentive, kind, and timely. Never had a bad server.
Great authentic Italian pizza! Quick delivery and pick-up.
Good casual neighborhood spot.

We went here for dinner on a Sunday night because I was in the mood for something light and not too heavy, and this restaurant has excellent thin crust pizza. The kid had the kid's spaghetti. It comes with a meatball (both for $7), but she is not a big meat eater so we asked to hold the meatball. She liked the spaghetti and the sauce, but the amount of sauce that came in a separate little dish was not enough and she likes a lot of sauce. I asked for more. I was surprised to see that I was charged $2 for more sauce. I understand that $2 is not a lot and maybe not even enough to mention, but it irritated me that there would be a charge for extra sauce when the price of the spaghetti and meatball was not adjusted when we did not get the meatball. It seems they wanted it both ways: charge us more for what really was a small amount of extra sauce, maybe a 1/3 of a cup, and then not reduce the bill when the costliest item, the meatball, was not included. It seems really cheap. The wife liked her Primavera salad. We shared the bruschetta and it was really good. The pizza was good but not quite as crisp as I remember. The three stars are for cheapness, the incredibly loud atmosphere, to the point where it was just unpleasant to be inside, and the absence of any carbonated drinks because their machine was broken (?).
We went to Olivellas Lakewood for dinner after our power
We went to Olivellas Lakewood for dinner after our power went out after a storm. They were really busy, I guess because nobody else has power. The food was great. Oru server Amy was really quick, and gave us great service. The other waiters were handling the big rush really good. One of the other waiters, Matt, was joking with the tables around us, and us too. He apologized for us not having power and said he hoped it came back on soon. They were running out of a lot of stuff when we came in, but our pizza, the regular margarita, was delicious. We're going back for more.

Outstanding, ultra-thin crust pizza, good choice of salads, large wine collection and attentive manager. Review based on multiple visits with plans to return!
My fiancé is huge pizza lover and he knows his pizza.
He thought the pizza was ok but tasted good. I enjoyed the pesto chicken and pepperoni pizza and had no complaints. The pizza actually kept us full until dinner. Surprisingly we thought the restaurant would be packed during lunch, but we were pleasantly surprised that it wasn't. We enjoyed our lunch outside on the patio and the weather was perfect for it.
Love this place.
It's been our go to pizza joint for a couple years now. Spicy sausage, funky cheese and a great wine selection! Thin and wood fired pizza, so tasty. Fresh salads and homemade dressings are a plus.
Olivella's staff and food are constantly excellent.
The atmosphere in the restaurant is pleasant and when the weather permits, they have an awesome patio. Highly recommend.
Very rude customer service.
The gentleman I spoke with Jake. Was remarkably THE PROBLEM. Definitely someone who doesn't understand that tone of voice and word choice is very important when talking to a customer. The food just okay nothing special . And the ambiance was just average nothing special. Way better places to go the Olivella's and that's a fact.

We've been to Olivella's several times now, and they've always been consistent in their delivery. The food is reasonably priced for Italian, is absolutely delicious, and their service is always top notch. We love their bruschettas and appetizers. I keep coming back for their spaghetti and meatballs, and my husband loves their Neapolitan pizzas!

When you sell a reservation that has a prepaid fee AT takes a commission on that fee. This doesn’t really make sense because it’s an expense the seller incurs not part of the profit that is shared.
For example:
Carbone NYC fee to book table for 2 is $108.88
If you sell it for $200 on AT you get $140 from them.
Your net profit is $31 and AT collects $60 in fees.
It would make more sense not to charge commission on the upfront fee as this creates a disincentive and results in higher costs for buyers.

Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
