Osteria da Fortunata - Moscova Milano Reviews
Superb pasta
We were in Italy for nearly 2 weeks in 7 cities and this was the best meal we had across the whole holiday. Look no further for some of the best pasta you will eat in Italy for a reasonable price. Some great wines there too.

Great food and atmosphere! Very organized when it came to waiting in line for a table. Will return back next time I am in town.
Everything here was amazing.
We came by early for dinner at 6pm. We started with burrata con brushette. Then I had the Sciavatelli All'amatriciana which was mouth-watering. We shared the coda all's vaccinara for our secondi, and it was hearty. We couldn't finish it because we were so full. We had tiramisu for dessert which was delicious. The servers were so nice and I enjoyed sitting outside. I did see a line starting to form when we started eating so make sure to get there early.
Yummy fresh pasta
We arrived and were told it would be a 45 min wait but the line was moving quickly so we only had to wait around 15 minutes. We tried the baked gnocchi, the cheese and pepper pasta, the pesto pasta and sage ravioli. The best one was the pesto, very fresh and flavorful. The least favorite was the cheese and pepper one, felt very heavy. We also had tiramisu for dessert, very good but not the best we‘be tried in Italy. Definitely recommended for pasta in Milan
I believe the food was just OK.
We were recommended here from our airport shuttle driver and seen YT vlogs. However, definitely not worth the wait. Now to the more serious things. Italy already calculates taxes and tips in the price. When we went to pay our calculations did not add up with theirs. It appears they added more taxes and said we had to pay for tips that were not included. This was bs because they just will take advantage. So for all you anticipating eating here just go somewhere else's where you will not be haggled and taken advantage of.

After a long day touring Rome, mostly by foot, we headed to Fortunata. This location (despite another review to the contrary) is not next to the Pantheon, it is down the street and appears to be their main location. There are two restaurant fronts, one with a dining room and bar, the other with a pasta rolling/cutting room. While dining we saw several delivery people come and pick up pasta from the second room leading me to believe it's their central location. The restaurant itself is crowded with a constant line up front. For us, we didn't wait long. We arrived at 6p or so and were seated after a 10-15 minute wait. Service was a bit slow at our outdoor table. We waited 20 minutes to order or even get water (one star odd for that). Once we ordered the food came out quickly, our bruschetta appetizer came out within 3-5 minutes as did the two 1 liter bottles of water. We ordered the al ragu, carbonara, SCIAVATELLI ALL'AMATRICIANA, the ravioli, and a side of chicory (seasonal veggie). All were good but our favorite pasta was the sciavatelli. The all'anatriciana used this fresh hand cut pasta that was the perfect amount of chew to it. It I were critical, I would say the sauce was slightly too salty but not to the extent where I would say it was overly salty. The carbonara also used the sciavatelli but was a bit cheese rich for our taste. The ravioli was a safe and tasty choice. The al ragu was probably our favorite balanced pasta dish (great pasta and sauce). All in all, very good pasta at this osteria but service timing needs some work.
Don't come here, this restaurant is a tourist trap.
Pasta was pricey and portion was small. Don't understand why a lot of social media influencers suggested to come here, my pasta was still undercooked and I've had better pasta elsewhere. But the suppli was good though.
The pasta is bar none the best place to get authentic fresh
The pasta is bar none the best place to get authentic fresh made dishes. Yes, they actually make the pasta and serve it to you. Don't worry about the line, it moves quickly.
Beware of the long line to get in .
.. but absolutely worth it! Get in line early and enjoy what is great service, wonderful ambiance and such great food!
Service wasn't the best.
Food was just ok. I think it's largely overhyped. Plenty of other options nearby!
Fantastic dinner, great waiters
We were very satisfied with the food. The carbonara pasta and the aperol spritz were also fantastic. We thank the waiters, Henri and Luca for the service, the tiramisu and the limoncello tasting.

Prime real estate (right near the entrance of the breathtaking Pantheon) - when we saw two ladies continually making fresh pasta right in the picture window... it was a no-brainer where we would eat. Portions weren't too big (welcome to Europe), the pricing was fine, the staff were all super smooth and engaging. While it was fun/unique to see your pasta being made (and then weighed) by the women before it went back into the kitchen - the final product/dish wasn't my favorite meal (while in Rome), but we were happy to have given them a try.
Absolutely delicious.
Fresh pasta made in front of you. Has become a bit touristy BUT it is worth the wait.
GREAT MEAL AT MILAN
REALLY GOOD PEOPLE AND GREAT PASTA. THE BEST PASTA I HAD IN MY LIFE. TOMMY AND LUCA HAD A GREAT SERVICE AND GAVE US TIRAMISU TO TRY AS DESSERT❤️
A must try in Milan !
Excellent service and delicious pasta, I love the music in the restaurant too, lovely vibe, highly recommended, thank you Luca :)
Maten!
We loved this place and the staff was very good and funny 😍 Lucka and Bukka were amazing 10/10. Highly recommended this restaurant!

Food was excellent however there was a huge line which I waited an hour for and the host accepted a 10 euro bill for a party of 4 to skip the line. Not cool.
the ratings are so high but the food is solid.
don't think it's anything special but gets the job done. If I ever visit Rome again not sure I would hit this place because there's so much other food in the area. I literally couldn't finish the cacio e pepe but worth the try I guess??
Excellent dinner.
The service was amazing. The pasta is rolled fresh. I had the carbonara and it was so flavorful. The waiter was helpful and fun. And the bill was so cheep! I loved the location and everything about this place!
We love Luca
The service was really good by the waiter Luca, also the food was really good. You should definitely try the homemade pasta’s here!
I wanted confirm the buzz about Osteria da Fortunata.
Walked in and was quickly sat for a table for 5. The place is "snug" by American standards meaning you may be sitting very close to another party. But I've travelled enough where that cultural barrier is not a thing. Seated facing the front window were 2 people hand making pasta. We had to order the Carbonara, Cacio e Pepe, & the Amatriciana. I personally had 2 glasses of house red which was good. Pasta was slightly al dente with a chewy texture. Even my 10 y/o daughter ate the Cacio e Pepe and that was a compliment. Believe me, as a parent progressing her from Mac & Cheese to Fettuccine Alfredo to now being able to eat Cacio e Pepe. She originally ask for Fet. Alfredo which I politely shot down saying that is an "American dish" air quotes. All in all. Great food. Great service. PRO TIP: don't expect the servers to hover over you or check in every 10 minutes like American servers which is nice.
Great food, lovely service.
Day 1 on our first trip to Milan. Delicious, fresh homemade pasta with excellent service ! Very full up and satisfied. Thank you Luca for making our experience so great already.

I've been coming to Rome for the past 6 years and in the recent times i can recall there always being a line outside this restaurant! The good news is it moves fairly quickly. We sat outside under the tent and could see the woman making handmade pasta from the window. The service was good but prices were OK (still reasonable compared to New York prices). The cacio e Pepe was so delicious! And I sampled my mom's carbonara which was great as well. Both were a bit "heavy" with the sauce however I didn't mind that If you're in Rome near campo di fiore it's worth visiting!
All around GREATTT!
The pasta. The tiramisu. The drinks. All so so good! The staff were excellent, especially Luca! Great at guiding us through the menu and all the good recommendations. Tip: make dinner reservations here; don’t expect walk-in.

Emanuele was a great waiter, fast service and very attentive. Food was amazing it came out soon after ordering and was good pricing. Would definitely come back.
The nice thing about this place: it's a decent restaurant
The nice thing about this place: it's a decent restaurant that you can come to without a reservation near the tourist areas. Downside: expect 30 minute or longer waits depending on your party size. We got the gnocchi with meat sauce and ox tail stew. Food is a little more expensive here than other restaurants. However, you also get more food. We didn't have room for dessert after finishing everything. Small comments about the food: flavor is very good. Both dishes have small amounts of meat although I think that's typical of many of the dishes we've had in Italy. The tomato sauce on the ox tail stew was really good so we dipped our bread into it. Didn't waste a single drop. The gnocchi is also good but my taste buds got a little bored of the flavor near the end. Servers are very nice and professional. I'm a bit of a bigger guy so the tables and spacing is also a little cramped.
The gnocchi was the best I had ever had.
The restaurant was really crowded for seating. Service was standard. We loved watching them make pasta!
Wonderful evening, delicious meal!
Our family waited on line for dinner—and it was completely worth the wait! Gabry was a warm and friendly waiter and everything we ordered was delicious—artichokes, pastas, tiramisu. We loved it!

Based on a friend's recommendation, we had lunch here and we were not disappointed. First place in Italy we have eaten at with excellent service. The Cacio e Pepe was delicious - cooked just right and had ample sauce for the noodles. The chocolate cheesecake is unparalleled in flavor and texture. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Great service and great food
The pasta here was exquisite. From the tiramisu to the pasta, it was second to none. Luca and Matteo served us with great energy, friendliness and welcoming nature. Would highly recommend for anyone travelling to Milan
A very busy restaurant in Campo Dei Fiore.
The Gnocchi alle Sorrentino was recommended by Roberto and it was delicious. Service was attentive. My companion had the carbonara and spoke well of it as well. The bread was also good and fresh. We sat outdoors and tables were tight but do-able and heaters were provided as well as clear plastic walls. Not our favorite dining experience in Rome but solid.

Amazing service
Matteo took care of my friends & I. Delivered great service & had great energy. Osteria De Fortunata was really delicious, everything from the Fettucine Ragu, Amatriciana, Arribiata, & Carbonara.
Amazing food staff seems nice but probably annoyed by all

Good food, lovely staff and nice to see pasta being rolled while in restaurant. Nice experience.
Absolutely a must eat at place.
It was so cool to watch the ladies up front make fresh pasta right before my eyes. They were super friendly! The customer service is outstanding. We were seated fast and before the crowds. There was a long line by the time we left. The highlight and my favorite dish was the Cacio e Pepe. The pasta texture and flavors are amazing!!
Delicious!
The food was incredible, we enjoyed our meal very much. The service was excellent, Matteo was so warm and friendly and his recommendations on the dishes were fantastic! We will come back next time we come to Milano!
Everything was delicious.
We had the carciofi romano (artichokes) cooked to perfection as was the melanzane alla parmigiana and spaghetti all'amatriciana. Nice house red from the region. The service was impersonal and seemingly overworked and the pasta makers in the window a little hokey but I'd go back!
Came into this place since they were the only good looking
Came into this place since they were the only good looking pasta place open on a sunday and the reviews were looking good. I ordered the cacio e pepe and my wife and family ordered a variation of red sauce and noodles. I will admit my expectations were high going here because we are in italy and im from the USA but this tasted like a lean cuisine/ microwaveable dish. The noodles were hard and the sauce was cold. We paid about 90 euro for 4 dishes and a glass of wine so it was not cheap by any means. 2 stars because mine was edible but my family reported theirs had no flavor. Would not recommend
Nice lunch
Very nice service & food although we had to wait some time outside until the table was ready. The waiter Matteo was also very friendly

Long lines but worth it!!! Service is amazing, the food is fresh (someone is in the front making noodles) and everything is prepared well. Add to your list whenever you visit Rome!
Yummy food, great location and great service.
We got gnocchi and fettuccine carbonara. Then we had tiramisu for dessert. Everything was perfect and so good. We would come back!
