Pang's Kitchen Reviews from The Last Year
Good, expensive, but won't be back
This restaurant is supposed to have one star Michelin. I was told that after eating there, and I wouldn't have guessed. This is one other example that discredits the Michelin Guide when it comes to Chinese food. I guess perhaps this is good by Hong Kong standards, but damn there is so much better food across the border in Shenzhen, or Shanghai for half the price. 1300 HK$ for 6 dishes that would classify as average size. Service is typical HK, i.e. efficient but not friendly. We chose 4 of the recommended dishes from the Chinese menu as we noticed the English menu doesn't have all the items, and doesn't mention the chef's recommendations. They were tasty but more like good hearty home dishes, not a one star Michelin. If you're visiting in the Jockey Race course neighborhood, go for it. But don't break your neck just to eat there.
Terrible services
Was a regular to this little restaurant for over a decade, but since the Covid, we decided to get take away instead. But starting maybe 6 months, every time I picked up my food, the service was terrible. Just like last night, I went to down at around 8pm, bumped into the boss, and I asked politely, is my order ready? He replied very rude, annoyed and bluntly, "not yet", then turned away immediately and looks like I'm not welcomed. I mean if you don't want to do any take away order, just say so. I don't want to feel unwelcome. Is this the way to treat customers? Not only the boss, but all servers look stressed and moody. I won't go back again with this kind of service. Shame for the Michelin title

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.

My reservation expired but I did not get a credit and I see no way to cancel. How do I the funds back as a credit?

I have a similar question, it seems like when money is refunded it doesnt go immediately what is the process of this since its essentially a debit card and not a credit card
