If you're looking for the perfect place to dine in the heart of Milan, look no further than this fine dining restaurant, Paper Moon Giardino. There is a charming atmosphere here, supported by wonderful and soft music. The picturesque combination of delicious cuisine and attentive staff makes a visit to this establishment truly unforgettable. I recommend it sincerely!
Job dinner
Very nice place in a historic building a stone's throw from Pizza San Babila. Well furnished, few frills, they focused on highlighting the frescoed ceilings and the garden, which unfortunately I didn't enjoy because it was still out of season. Overall good cuisine, you can find both meat and fish, some vegetarian alternatives and they are well prepared for intolerances. The waiter was very kind in patiently listing to me which dishes I could order without problems, which I could change and also which I should avoid. I would recommend it for a business lunch or dinner.
Charming atmosphere and excellent dishes
The place is really very nice, with a nice atmosphere. The very welcoming internal garden deserves a special mention. The service is attentive and professional, right from the entrance, and quick. In my case, I also liked the way the booking was handled. The dishes are excellent, truly of a high standard. The only flaw, the bill; it's not a cheap place, but quality and service (and the fashion district in Milan) cost a little more. That said, I will try to find an opportunity to return as soon as possible.
VALENTINE'S DAY FOR LUNCH...
For our Valentine's Day my Love organized a nice lunch in this place. We made an appointment at 1.30pm but had to wait at least 15 minutes at reception. We had an appetizer, a burrata with sautéed vegetables followed by a tomato pasta and a fillet with potatoes. We then decided to end with tiramisu. As for the food, but this is my opinion, I have to say it's a bit poor for the price I hope, I would have expected much, much more... the tiramisu wasn't bad... we spent €120 without wine... well. . I don't think I'll go back.

Lunch like a king
I have already had lunch twice between December and January in this restaurant and I had a great time! The venue is very large and divided into rooms, thus creating very welcoming and intimate private rooms The furnishings are very refined and fashionable The vast menu full of proposals, each better than the other Each time I tried different dishes and they all fully met my expectations Not to mention the very kind and helpful staff An additional note of merit must be made to the welcome which is always extraordinary and very professional I will definitely come back
Not a cheesy place
Really nice place and the dishes we missed were excellent as were the waiting times between one course and another and the waiters were very attentive but not corny
Pleasant lunch
When I come to Milan with my family, I always come to this restaurant. At the entrance they take your jackets and packages much appreciated. Kind and attentive waiters especially in making the children eat immediately, simple but very good and quick food. Fair price €200 for six Thank you

Stopped by because this place was recommended to me by a few people staying in my hotel. I came without a reservation but it was just me so I was able to be seated immediately. I ordered gnocchi, shrimp and a glass of grappa. Everything was good and the shrimp were huge. My waiter went above and beyond because he provided me with bug spray after I told him I was eaten alive earlier. I enjoyed the ambiance here and the architecture. Highly recommended.

Paper Moon Giardino is a hidden restaurant in the shopping district of Milan, Italy. My wife and I were shopping in the area and headed over on a Tuesday evening. We were able to grab a table without a reservation and were seated. The restaurant is very upscale, dark, and has excellent service. As soon as we sat down, we were served complimentary bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. This was great. I also ordered a red wine and a few items: [ANTIPASTA] +Burrata Pugliese (burrata cheese with tomatoes, fresh basil, and extra virgin olive oil) for €19 - 4.5/5 [PRIMI PIATTI] +Raviolo (homemade raviolo stuffed with burrata cheese, raw red shrimps, and cherry tomatoes) for €23 - 4.5/5 +Tagliatelle (homemade tagliatelle with Bolognese ragout sauce) for €18 - 4.5/5 [DOLCI] +Tiramisù (soft ladyfinger with mascarpone cheese and coffee) for €11 - This was the best Tiramisù I have ever had. It was delicious and moist. - 5/5 Overall, Paper Moon Giardino was an amazing experience. From my week in Italy across Milan and Rome, this place had to be the best spot in all categories from location, food, and service. Every food item hit the spot, and I had zero complaints. If you come to Milan, Paper Moon Giardino would be the first place I would recommend for a great meal out.

The staff were kind and seemed genuinely happy to be there. Plenty of seating. My favorite was the fish of the day dish.

From start to finish they made our last night in Milan a pleasure. It's upscale and slightly hidden--it was lovely.
Disappointing
Went for lunch on Sunday. When asked for a table in the garden been refused despite tables being available. Only to witness 15 mins later how people seating next to us being offered a table in the garden. Makes you question if double standards are in place. However, for the being marketed as an upscale restaurant the food was not good, service was average. We ordered spaghetti and the sauce they came with was super salty. Asking for the bill seemed to be a challenge. Had to asked two waiters so eventually 20 mins later we got the bill. Overall quite a disappointing experience and for the prices charged not worth it. Was really looking forward to visit it but I would not revisit for sure.
Great lunch experience
We had delicious Italian food and wine as well as attentive service at the Paper Moon Giardino. Definitely a fabulous choice for a memorable dining experience.

Beautiful place, but very slow service and food arrived lukewarm. They are definitely understaffed for the amount of tables they want to attend.

3.) Finding the Reservation
