Perry's Steakhouse & Grille Dallas Reviews from The Last Year
Trash
I was VERY disappointed in the food on this second visit. The $100 steak that I ordered was definately a waste on my money. It was definately not the cut that I asked for. It tasted and looked nothing like the first time I had ordered it. It was tough and not well seasoned. The brussell sprouts were better this visit only because I came in requesting that it taste something close to the description on the menu of sweet and spicy instead of bitter and burnt. I went home and threw it in the TRASH! The Perry's fried asparagus was the only thing that I enjoyed. My first visit the steak was heavenly devine and the sides were poor. This time I threw the steak in the TRASH!!! I won't be returning.
Best pork chop ever!
Without a doubt, the best pork chop dish I’ve ever experienced. Perry’s is known for their pork chop dinner and I thought our host was over selling it before we arrived. I was wrong. It was actually three portions of pork expertly prepared. On top of that our server was exceptional. We also enjoyed the bacon wrapped shrimp, fillet tater tots, fried asparagus, and pork bite appetizers. The only thing average about our experience were some of the side dishes. Everything was over the top excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant for couples, a business entertaining or special occasion.
Went there tonight for a friend's birthday party.
We made reservations in advance. Arrived on time and the service was horrible. For a table of 20 people we only had one waiter. Service was slow from the start. Each person had to flag our waiter down to start ordering food instead of him going around the table and asking us what we wanted. He never came back to check on us, food for the price of this place was mediocre at best. I had the surf and turf pasta. Not much flavor nor seasoning on the pasta. The lobster I got had zero flavor and the steak was tough to cut. I was very disappointed. One our guest even sent his food back because it was so bad. Worse part of all is that the AC was out and we were all extremely hot. The spot next to our table had a wet floor sign because that's where the ac was leeaking from the ceiling. Took forever to get our bills and closeout. What should have been a 2 hour dinner turned into 4 hours because of all of the waiting. I couldn't wait to leave. I definitely wont be going back.
We came here with 12 people to the Dallas location.
They said the air conditioner was broken and they thought it was fixed in the morning. Clearly it was not; it was really hot. Our group was sweating during dinner. In addition, the ceiling was leaking during all of dinner right near our table (presumably the air conditioner). You had to walk immediately next to the bus pan to pass to the table. Numerous steaks in our party were over salted. One was returned and the manager acknowledged that was a problem that was occurring that evening repeatedly. I would never come back.
I visited this steakhouse a couple of weeks ago.
My party of 8 was seated upstairs right next to the windows. The sunset view was amazing. I had the filet and added seared scallops. I was surprised how seasoned the scallops were. It was delicious. I'm waitress Rosa was great. She checked in on often but not too frequent. My recommendation, visit the restaurant during or after sunset to experience the beautiful nighttime downtown views.

I thought the service and atmosphere were great! I felt the steak was a little too salty for my liking. I also wished I got the regular whipped potatoes rather than the loaded. I liked the loaded potatoes for a bit but after a while I felt the toppings were overpowering. Lastly, I dined by myself so I wished the menu had a half serving size option for the sides as I had to waste most of my whipped potatoes.

I'm an avid LOVER of Perry's signature pork chop, however THIS WAS A COMPLETE and hurtful let down, to say the very least. I do not make it a practice to complain, but this experience was absolutely disheartening. The chop was incredibly DRY, not only the 1st being dry, they offered to remake it & the 2nd was even more dry. #yikes I hope the quality is not leaving the brand?! #imJustSAYIN' the ambiance was inviting, if nothing else!!

I visited Perry's for my birthday dinner and it was a pleasant experience after we were finally seated. I previously made reservations and they took a few minutes to get the table ready once we arrived. The hostess led us to the table and there was a random jacket in the seat. We asked who it belonged to and she responded like it wasn't a big deal. I then asked if the jacket could be moved and she pushed the table over a couple of inches. The jacket was still in a potion of my seat. I then pushed the table over some more so that I wouldn't be sitting on a random jacket. At that time, the hostess asked the person at the other table if it was his jacket. That situation was so weird and wasn't the best start to my dinner. Once we were situated, everything was 5 stars (food, drinks and service)! The Tempura Fried Lobster Tail was tender, delicious and fried perfectly. The Oysters on the Half Shell were very nice and had great accompaniments. For entrees we had the Cedar Plank-Fired Redfish and Symphony Kabob...both were delicious! My complimentary birthday dessert was so yummy (pumpkin cheesecake). The entire experience was just amazing! We'd definitely visit this location again! Did I mention that the view was absolutely stunning?!
most tender, delicious pork chop in the city, bar, none.
Mashed potatoes are OK, as is the cream spinach. Really good bread and butter. Our server, Jose, could not have been nicer. The pork chop was juicy, tender, you did not even need a knife, no kidding.free parking with validation. You just can't get better than this.
Granted it is a chain, which should not be a hinderance.
We eat here 3-4 times a year and it never disappoints. Always reliable & delicious. And pork chop lunch Fridays are a must. The atmosphere is loud, but most steakhouses are. They do not rush you or make you wait too long, timed right and cooked right.

gemz **** WHAT THEY'RE KNOWN FOR: a classic steakhouse franchise across the US. There's about 6 locations in Texas. I love how they have pictures of their food on the menu. This place is hyped up for a reason! THE VIBE: upscale, very fancy, and classy! Large interior, lots of seating, super busy! PRICE: ~$65 + $15 tip (my meal I ordered was the sea bass and steak and tater totter bites) WOULD I COME BACK? Yes! **** Overall Rating: 10/10 - I am so happy I finally got to try this place after hearing so many great things about it for the longest! - This place is hyped up for good reason. The sea bass I had SO much flavor. More than I would've imagined. It had corn and this red pepper sauce on the bottom. I don't even know to describe it except that I inhaled this dish so quickly bc it was that good. The fish was cooked perfectly. - I LOVED the steak bites and was the perfect amount of steak. My friends thought it was okay but I think it's because they already ordered a steak for their entree. I thought it was perfectly good and a good hearty dish since my fish was light. - I tried the other side dishes as well and my favorite had to be the corn brûlée!!! Omg it was so good I can't even begin to describe it. It was slightly spicy and full of flavor. You should skip out on the lobster mac and cheese it was pretty disappointing. The au gratin potatoes were phenomenal too! I also tried the sriracha Brussel sprouts and they were good too! - Our server was very attentive, patient, and informed us appropriately about anything we asked. I truly had a great experience!

We had Marv as our server this evening and he was definitely top notch. Had a great time, amazing food, and wonderful view! Definitely coming back.
Was a great experience the food was great and the service
Was a great experience the food was great and the service was as top notch!! That being said it wouldn't be my first choice for a steakhouse this was for a friends birthday and she loved it so we were happy! The one thing I have notice for a quote high end steakhouses these days business casual is not business casual is not what it was back before the pandemic. There was people in there wearing shorts and a t-shirt people wearing sneakers, if you policy is business casual hold yourself to your own policy! This is Dallas there are so many FINE DINING steakhouses to choice from if that's your claim roll with that.
Nice view.
Food was good. Service was great. All of the workers were helpful and nice. Took care of us. Food came out perfectly timed and we did not feel rushed. Birthday girl felt extra special, which is always a plus. We ordered a lot of food, feasted like kings with no regrets! I'll always order the new York with the truffle sauce. It's so good. This location, my steak was on the juicier side whereas another location was more charred. I liked it being more charred but it was still good. The sides are def big enough to share. We had no regrets ordering so many though. Everything was good (even the next day when we ate our leftovers). The tomahawk was okay. Only difference I tasted was you're only paying more for the big bone. Other than that I'll probably not order it again and stick to my other steaks. The " flight" was also good to try 3 different steaks if you're unsure on what to settle on. Calamari had a nice spicy kick to it. Stuffed mushrooms had a great sauce on top. Did not taste "earthy" at all. Scallops with the bacon was SOOO good. Crispy thick cut bacon. I def plan to return! If you self park, it can get a little confusing/tricky!
Pleasure as always.
Sat on patio it was beautiful and perfect day. Filet, lobster tempura. Mash potatoes and a few Lemon Drops all delicious!! Oscar was an awesome waiter
Had dinner in main dinning room on a Saturday night.
Two unprofessional and negative interactions with the upstairs hostesses. Given all the alternatives, will not return.

Meh....we were served stale bread and flat champagne right off the bat, and I'm still kinda mad about that. I sent both back of course and they replaced with fresh, but then we ordered the tasteless, tiny blue oysters and that was strike three. This isn't counting the snobbery and condescending looks going on at the front reception desk. Nope, never again.
The service was great.
Our server Sebastian was very friendly & attentive. We had the pork chop bites as an appetizer, and the meat was flavorful and juicy. My boyfriend and I ordered the surf and turf pasta, upper choice ribeye, loaded mashed potatoes, and the 3 cheese mac & cheese. For desert, we had the cheesecake and rocky road bread pudding. For our first time, everything was 10/10.
Amazing time!! Sebastian was the best server ever, sweet,
Amazing time!! Sebastian was the best server ever, sweet, entertaining, lightly humorous and great manners!
Ok wow! The food, the ambience and service were all top
Ok wow! The food, the ambience and service were all top notch! We had oysters, filet mignon, the corn brûlée and bread. One word: AMAZING! And the view of the downtown skyline and color-changing buildings was spectacular. I highly recommend. The only thing is I would add an additional dollar sign as it was quite a bit more pricey than most three dollar sign restaurants we frequent. Definitely worth the price, just prepare to drop some serious coin.
Very very very good and chic
A chic, high-end restaurant, refined place, modern decor, attentive staff, professional, well-cooked meat, great atmosphere, superb atmosphere, I highly recommend it
A Highly Disappointing Experience.
We visited the Perry’s at 2100 Olive Street in Dallas, TX on Friday 2/2/24. We were there to celebrate the birthdays of my wife and a close friend. We had reservations for a party of 6 for 7:30pm. We arrived about 10 minutes early but were promptly seated at 7:30 (table #42/1). Our waiter arrived about 5 minutes later and ask for our drink order, my wife and 2 others in our party ordered the mini martini flight. But the waiter said it was not avaible tonight. This seemed odd since full sized martinis were available. So, my wife and friends ordered regular martini’s. My other friend ordered an old fashioned, and I ordered a scotch based mixed drink. When I placed my order, I asked our waiter (Juan) if the drink was sweet because I do not prefer sweet drinks. He assured me it was not sweet. When our drinks arrived my friend’s old fashioned tasted like coffee, and my drink was very sweet. We requested to send our drinks back, to be replaced with a whiskey neat and gin martini. It took about 20 minutes for the waiter to return with our new drink order and remove the drinks we sent back from our table. We then ordered appetizers, my wife and her friends each ordered lobster bisque and another member of our party ordered the scallops. When the lobster bisque arrived, it tasted like barbeque soup. Easily making it the worst lobster bisque any of the members of our party had ever tasted. My friend that ordered the scallops did not receive his ordered. When our waiter returned about 10 minutes later to check on us, we told him the scallops had not arrived. He claimed he thought they were already brought out and my friend had finished and the plate had been taken away. He apologized and said the kitchen was having issues and he would put in another order. Our entrees and sides arrived a few minutes later. This sides were delivered without any serving spoons and the lamb chops my wife ordered were very salty. We requested a new order of lamb chops and the waiter offered to get his manger since we were having so many issues with dinner. The manager arrived and we told him about the issues. We brought up the lobster bisque and he admitted the kitchen had made a mistake because he had tasted it himself and asked that they make a new batch. He offered to bring replacements and apologized. We also requested serving spoons for the side orders. My friends’ scallops arrived about 5 minutes after the entrees, and we still had no spoons for the sides. Finally, the manager brought over 1 soup spoon for the sides. We requested another for our other side dish but that did not arrive until we had almost finished our entrees. We requested the side dishes be removed from our bill because they were now cold because we had no spoons. Another manager came by and said he would remove the sides, bisques, and scallops from the bill and offered to do anything he could to make our dining experience better. He never returned to our table and after we had finished our entrees the waiter came back with the adjusted bill. We were not even offered desert which is not the norm for restaurant’s the caliber of Perry’s, especially given the fact we were there to celebrate the birthday of two members of our party. To add insult to injury they included a tip amount on our bill because we were a party of 6 or more. The tip was $160, which is way out of line given the level of service we received. This was highly disappointing experience. All members of our party have been to other Perry’s locations multiple times and have always enjoyed our experience. I believe this experience was so poor due to the lack of experience or attention to detail from our waiter and some kitchen issues. I definitely will not be visiting this location again and may never visit another Perry’s again.
So good!!!!
The food is amazing! And so is staff! I really enjoyed the look and feel of Perry's as well. Had the filet and chocolate cake. Yummo!

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

almost all restaurants aren't affiliated with AT and I'm guessing it's mostly people wanting to not pay cancellation fees.

Reservations could be posted for a variety of reasons. Most likely, the person who secured the reservation can no longer attend - to avoid accruing a "no show" fee, they can find someone to take their place.
