Delicious aguadito de res! Only tried the soup of the day (to go) but it was so yummy and tasted home made. Would go back to try more! Nice ambiance and a wide selection of Peruvian dishes.

My best friend lives in Brooklyn and he is always raving about g to me and my boyfriend about Pío Pio and how affordable and great the food is! So we finally had some time because we were in town for the Drew Barrymore show. The restaurant looks small when you come in but like most food establishments in New York you realize it is much bigger than what it seams. We got sat in the main dining area downstairs which was really great! It looks like you got transported to a forest all that was missing were the nature ambient sounds lol. Our waiter Cesar was great! Gave us the most exceptional service! He was super funny and personable. You can tell he was happy to be there working which made the experience all the better! When it came to the food we already knew what we were ordering. My friend told us to get the Matador plate which brings everything you see in my pictures except for the sangria. That was a separate charge. The three of us were able to eat and get extra with this plate, You definitely get your moneys worth! For about 63$ you get salchipapas, rice & beans, a WHOLE ROASTED CHICKEN!!! Fresh salad, and your choice of either sweet plantains or tostones ( deep fried green plantains). Everything was magnificent! Especially that chicken! I was so satisfied, And knew I'd be going to bed with a happy stomach. They brought it all out so quick. The food did not taste greasy at all! We can't wait to come back and bring our families!

Really solid Peruvian place! I've been a few times before, and I always go for the rotisserie chicken. The chicken is so juicy and tender, and go so amazingly well with the restaurant green sauce. During my last visit with a friend, we also got the empanadas and the Pimiento Relleno, both of which were really good. We also got cocktails, which were really solid and refreshing. When my friend and I went, there weren't that many people around, so it was definitely a relaxing, fun environment. However it does get busy, and when it does, it is super loud and very hectic. But all in all, I'll definitely be back again for the chicken and green sauce again.
Pío pío will always be my go to place when I'm around
Pío pío will always be my go to place when I'm around 10th Ave. the food is delicious. The prices are decent and the food just comes out so fast. I love it. It's a nice spot for drinks or eat. Perfect for big groups or small. The service is quick. I've never had bad service there. Posted a tik tok review on it: @jessiica0204 https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZPRTGCLXL/

This is my go to place when I want a great comfort meal or I haven't eaten all day. My go to is the Matador combo because it comes with a little bit of everything and that amazing rotisserie chicken. My bf & I devour this entire order each time. The vibes at this location are great for family dinners, dates, celebrations. Pretty much any occasion this restaurant is a good idea.

Experience of the senses!
In an impressive setting, we were amazed by the very particular flavors of this Peruvian cuisine based on properly acidic cevice, corn and other spicy condiments! The dishes were good, we tried a cocktail also based on egg white, not cheap but very original!
Great ambience and variety of food! Staff made very special
Great ambience and variety of food! Staff made very special my daughter's birthday celebration!
The food was so delicious.
We sat at the bar and the bartender was very attentive. If you are ever in the city stop by. Nice vibes as well.

This restaurant is not a real Peruvian restaurant, the grilled chicken was burnt and salty, the salad had no fresh vegetables and no dressing and the only thing I can say that was good was the chicha morada. If you come to NY look for better options
Favorite Restaurant in a Week's Visit to NYC
Pio Pio was the favorite dining spot in a week in Manhattan. Everything about the place was first rate. It’s a lively place, from the interesting, colorful dishes to the gaiety at the tables. (While we were there, there were a half-dozen birthdays being celebrated.) A note about the portions: they’re huge. We’re used to sharing an appetizer before each having a main course. Although our appetizer (calamari) was excellent, the addition of the appetizer meant that most couldn’t finish their main courses. Not being able to finish the main courses was a pity because they were intriguing and delicious—combinations of flavors we hadn’t experienced before. (We’d describe the food as half way between Spanish and Mexican.) And the service was terrific. Our server, Israel, was charming, attentive, and helpful.
Food, service, atmosphere 10/10!! Can't recommend it
Food, service, atmosphere 10/10!! Can't recommend it enough! It's a wonderful spot to bring a group or impress your out of town friends
When in the mood for Peruvian food, come to this Pio Pio
When in the mood for Peruvian food, come to this Pio Pio location. This is the biggest one of all the ones I have been too. Staff is friendly and service is good. Reservations are recommended for bigger parties but usually for small groups not required esp when coming early. Lately coming here as last minute decision when in the mood and never a wait to get a table which is great. There is both upstairs and downstairs (bigger seating area) seating and a full bar. Cocktails are good here and strong, There are plenty of items to choose from menu but I usually go for my staples. Highly recommend the avocado salad and salchipapas - the go to starters for me. Both are delicious and shareable. Juanita's 1/2 chicken with yellow rice and maduros is plenty to share for two people. If a group of 4, order the matador combo as it's a great deal for a whole rotisserie chicken. You may need to order extra portion of yellow rice as it's only enough for two people. The green sauce is spicy for those who like an extra kick to their food. Add to your level of spiciness. Always too full to have dessert though... Restrooms: One restroom each for men and women on the main level and additional restrooms on the lower level.

Food and ambiance of the place was great!, had only been the small kips bay location and was surprised for this being a whole restaurant.
It's validated !
Excellent Peruvian cuisine. The setting is very nice. We came across it because it is very close to our hotel. The staff is very pleasant, the dishes are very generous, the quality of the products is perfect! I recommend 100%
Large portions!
Came here for the first time never having Peruvian food. The ambiance and decor is great. We got the Perucho tasting appetizer. Tried beef heart for the first time and everything was great. The size of the entree and sides were huge. I had leftovers for three days with the arroz Chaufa. We got the mama Juanita’s chicken with maduros, avocado salad, tostones and the aji’ de Gallina. Everything was great. The tostones were our least favorite. They were good but a little bland for me. For dessert we got the chocolate cake. It was okay. Overall nice atmosphere, large portions, good food but tiny everything was great and our waiter wasn’t the friendliest.
excellent food and service
This food is delicious. The server helped us pick ceviche appetisers and they were fantastic. We had the large paella and split it and it was delicious. I recommend trying one of the pisco cocktails. Very good. The decore is stylish. The restaurant is big and a bit loud but we had no trouble hearing each other. We will return.
Great food and friendly service
Great friendly service, excellent food and good value. We had special recipe chicken rice and beans, big portion size would highly recommend.
Phenomenal meal!
I visited this restaurant on a trip to NYC about 10 years ago and it left a lasting impression…enough that I had to find it and go again (even with so many other possible options!) and it did not disappoint! The food is absolutely amazing! The stuffed pepper is the best appy! There were 4 of us and each of us enjoyed our dinner immensely. The portions are huge so be sure to go hungry. Our server and other staff were awesome and very friendly. I know NYC has thousands of options, but this is a MUST add to your list of restaurants to go to while in the city.
Cena en pio pio 8
We bought the ceviche and lomo saltado and they were both delicious! I also had a Passion fruit Sour which was great. Our serve was called Cesar and he was excelent!
Good Peruvian food. Nothing special. Typically city restaurant setting.
Good food. Quality ingredients seemed to be used (I’m a foodie). We had ceviche, Peruvian spiced chicken, yucca and plantains. Prices reasonable. Service good. Decor and venue were just OK.
A Hell's Kitchen Gem
Nice atmosphere here in the Hell's Kitchen area of NYC, with upstairs and downstairs dining areas, and so convenient to Broadway. We stopped in for lunch after Phantom of the Opera. Four of us shared some appetizers and the lunch special for only $14.98 which was a 1/4 chicken, salad and your choice of sides. There's more than you think there is when it arrives. The chicken was moist, and cooked to perfection. The salad was a simple salad, but good, and our shared appetizers were also delicious. Nothing to complain about here. The menu has much to choose from if you want something other than the lunch special

Prepaid Reservation Fee

When you sell a reservation that has a prepaid fee AT takes a commission on that fee. This doesn’t really make sense because it’s an expense the seller incurs not part of the profit that is shared.
For example:
Carbone NYC fee to book table for 2 is $108.88
If you sell it for $200 on AT you get $140 from them.
Your net profit is $31 and AT collects $60 in fees.
It would make more sense not to charge commission on the upfront fee as this creates a disincentive and results in higher costs for buyers.

Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
