Great Ramen
The sauce with the gyoza was so good. The ramen is very good and one of the best in the area. The staff is very helpful with explaining the menu and providing suggestions.

Fantastic experience! Beautiful food with deep rich flavors like nothing we’ve experienced at a ramen restaurant!

Not sure the place is worth the wait again.
The ramen is second best in Chicago (the best is Santouka Ramen). Ramen Wasabi has better fatty pork and egg on the ramen, but their Tonkatsu soup lack bone marrow flavor and the noodle are not chewy enough.
The Char siu bowl was good, but why so tiny ;-(
Best ramen
We are massive fans of ramen and tried Kinton, Oiistar, Ramen Takeya and Wasabi in the space of a few days. In our view Wasabi pipped the rest to the post - we found the shoryu and spicy garlic absolutely delicious and the ramen had fantastic texture. Food wise, it was a big thumbs up and service was attentive and helpful. We had initially ordered 3 bowls of ramen amongst 4 people and the manager was not difficult - we subsequently ordered a tiger bowl because it was so good. One minor point - it was a very hot afternoon when we visited and the air conditioning wasn’t very effective.

Great bowl of soup
Wonderful bowl of vegan noodles and spicy broth. Pork belly was also wonderful. Nice place would definitely come back.

Wasabi is a comfortable and rather small space on Milwaukee Avenue that offers a deeply satisfying array of dishes from snacks and appetizers to hearty bowls of ramen. The heart of any ramen is a rich broth, and Wasabi combines a wonderfully balanced broth with flavorful homemade noodles.
I also enjoyed starters including a pork belly bao (a "bun" like a fluffy taco) and intensely flavored charred brussels sprouts. Two bowls of ramen were both deeply flavorful and very satisfying on a chilly March afternoon.
The wine list is nothing special but there's a good list of sakes in every price range and quite a few local beers that match very well with the food. Warm, informal and very professional service was the ingredient that brought all the other aspects of Wasabi together. I can't wait to go back.
Best Ramen in Chicago
Ramen has became very trendy food lately. Its fulfilling, Umami tasty, quick, and has so many options. There are a lot of Ramen shops in Chicago and we had tried bunch of them so far. I must admit that Ramen Wasabi ranks top on my list for that kind of food. We have been there three times already to no disappointment, same well served Ramen soup every single time. I like it`s inside decor, atmosphere and great service. Keep in mind that they are getting crowded very quickly and we only visited them on Sundays. There are quite a few Ramen options they have and we tried Spicy Miso, Hakata Red, Shoyu, Vegeterian all of them delicious. They have the best meat in the soup I had tried so far, silky, tender almost like butter and Vegeterian ramen is also one of the best we had so far. I recommend their Fire Bean Sprouts and Kimchi as a side while enjoying your soup. On their menu you can see Boost Flavor you can add to any ramen option but my tip; just order one for two people, it is really enough to share over two bowls. I definitely like the draft beer option they have to compliment the food!! This place is worth the visit for sure!!
