Ravintola Palace Helsinki Reviews
Expensive but good
This is an excellent restaurant with an interesting tasting menu with a Japanese influence. No complaints regarding the experience just possibly pushing the value boundaries a bit at e600 per head. To be fair to the restaurant it was full so they wou

Palace shines brightest with Chef Eero and his team of beautiful, well-trained young people. An unparalleled indulgence with an affable, charming, easy to like Chef Eero turning up personally to present his beautiful creations - not once but twice!
A gastronomic treat for the senses.
The Palace lived up to its stars and its rating by providing us a night to remember. The food was divine... each item on the menu was a treat to the senses. Definitely an evening to cherish in Helsinki!
The best fine dining in Finland... but with some caveats

Very nice and sophisticated. Very expensive
We went to the restaurant to celebrate a birthday of our daughter. You can only take a set menu which isnβt cheap. Matching wines were nice. Non alcoholic were not great. Fake wines not giving a taste you would like. Dishes are prepared very nice
Amazing lobster and the main course
Two Michelin stars in Finlandππ Ravintola Palace was the first Finnish restaurant to receive a Michelin star in 1987. Located on the 10th floor of a historic building with views of the city and sea, the building was originally built to commemor
Elegant
Elegant tasting menu with excellent cocktails and wine. This is a beautiful restaurant with stunning views of Helsinki. The service, food and wine could not be beat. This is a true treat meal.
A CULINARY EXPERIENCE THAT YOU SHOULD THANKMTHE CHEF FOR
Ravintola Palace Helsinki This is not a restaurant to order food. Itβs a culinary journey into the wonderful world of amazing food that dances around in your mouth to highest point. The starters. The depths of flavour in just small morsels is
Too much food, too many small portions and too expensive
I thought that the new French cuisine with all its mini dishes is no longer popular, but it still seems, at least if you want 2 stars, to be enough. The last time I was here there were 2 menus, a shorter and a longer version. Unfortunately no more.
Superbππ
Wow. Where do i start? First- a message to Chef and owner Eero Vottanen. Congratulations on your staff, your food and your vibe. It is, a full package. Staff first. What a strong start. Your Cuban cloakroom attendant was smiling, friendly and welco
Japanese influence
I thought the food was quite influenced by Japan. They served wasabi, ponzu, Shiramasa or teriyaki. The food was good, but the service was a bit off. There was no assistance with the toilet, the food was served unevenly, and the seat was next to the
Fine dining!
This must be one of the absolute best restaurants in Helsinki. Very nice experience. Excellent food.
Fair
The menu had a strong Japanese influence and consisted mostly seafood. The presentation was pretty. The scallops with white asparagus and egg was my favourite. But I did find a couple of dishes a tad too salty and the desserts too sweet. But I don't
Great experince, in a great setting - best fine dining in Helsinki by a mile!
Must say I truly enjoyed the tasting menu and the winepackage that matches it. A lot of flavors all through the variety of dishes. As always in these places, when they explain what is on the plate, it is a bit overwhelming. Other than that nothing,
Gourmet experience
Fantastic restaurant with great food. I would say many of the dishes are way better than in 2 star places in general.
Hands-down best fine dining in Helsinki
Me and my partner have been eating out at many of Helsinki's establishments, including several of Palace's direct competitors at the top end of the fine dining scene. We spared Palace for the last as we had heard many good things about it. So last Ch

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Ravintola Palace Helsinki at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Ravintola Palace Helsinki page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* DistinguishedTree58, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's $200 bid.
* DistinguishedTree58 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to DistinguishedTree58 for any questions Peter may have as DistinguishedTree58 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* DistinguishedTree58 now uses their connections at Ravintola Palace Helsinki to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If DistinguishedTree58 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, DistinguishedTree58 receives the $200 reward which is credited to DistinguishedTree58's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Ravintola Palace Helsinki!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
