Amazing Spanish food with a contemporary twist
Probably the best meal we had on recent trip.. Fine dining in the old town from a chef who clearly knows how to cook.. Every dish was perfectly prepared and tasted fantastic.... The sommelier knows his wines and his choice for us, having suggested a different one to the one I chose was perfect. If u want fine dining and are prepared to pay for it, then you will not be disappointed... Definitely worth the experience
Be the first to ReplyGood food, mediocre service
The food was very good, traditional quality and good presentation but the waiters and the waiter were very mediocre.

I've always been in such a bad Michelin restaurant, they charged us for something we didn't order. Very salty food. Told them and they showed no respect, expensive but considering the quality.
Be the first to ReplyModern food with local roots in outstanding quality
The dishes on the Southern Road menu were extraordinary and of outstanding quality. The presentation was very successful and the service and entertainment value of the staff was also refreshingly relaxed and good. In an old town dominated by tourist restaurants, there was a quality here that we would not have expected, despite the immediate proximity to the "tourist traps". The price/performance ratio was also so good that we can only recommend the restaurant. We would be happy to come back.

Illusion ruined since the service of a waiter can ruin everything and detract from the food. Tcipirones are delicious, the sea bass is excellent and the chocolate dessert has a sublime texture....but it's a shame that it was ruined by the lack of knowledge and professionalism of the waiter, since everything is paid for on the bill.

Four of us were here on January 13th. Very friendly service and an excellent tasting menu. We'd love to come back again!

To remember and, of course, to return. We went at lunchtime since they had given us two long menus with pairings. Everything perfect and delicious perhaps, a little too much but great. Phenomenal service and very nice place.

Magnificent food, treatment and service. Pepe is missed in the Hall but attention has not diminished. To highlight the beef taco and the tartar.
Be the first to ReplyModernized classic cuisine in perfect preparation
In the old town of Marbella, surrounded by many small restaurants, you will find this rather unspectacular restaurant with a few tables in the alley. Here you will find modernized classic cuisine, perfectly prepared, which begins with various greetings from the kitchen and delicious bread. You can choose from a la carte or attractive menus starting at €60. Good value for money for what is on offer.

We were amazed by the Southern Roads tasting menu. Great regional ingredients with beautiful presentations and flavours...truly Micheline worthy. It was delicious from beginning to end, and plenty of food. Could be a bit less without taking away from the experience, actually, as we could not finish the last two courses and desserts even though they were all fabulous. Also loved the idea that this a third generation family business. Chef Carlos Cabello puts a lot of passion into his work. Would happily return for another excellent dining experience.

Dreadful food but lovely staff, restaurant is beautiful and looks very elegant …menu read very well , my tuna tartare was strangely sweet and grainy and my main course of turbot was over cooked in a gloopy sauce with a selection of vegetables that were a mix of 70’s kitsch and frozen produce

Three of us had the extensive tasting menu and really enjoyed it. Wine was well priced and the service was also really good.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food
The food was great, and even though we were here off season and the place was dead we still got the complete Fine Dining experience with careful attention from several waiters and the little extra before and after treats.

Booked here a few days in advance in order to make sure we got in, no need as we were the only people in the restaurant for the whole night. The restaurant is more like a cafe with bright lights rather than a quality restaurant. We had the 14 course tasting menu and we were half way through in 30 minutes, we asked them to slow down which they did. Most courses were average but the fish had way too much garlic on it and the beef had sinew through it and was very tough, staff didn’t seem to care

We visited Casa Eladio as a family, the food and service were excellent and can’t wait to come back again soon. Thank you for a wonderful meal! Between all of us we tried most of the a la carte menu and it was clean plates all round!

Super restaurant with delicious food. Chic decor and will look forward to sitting outside in the warmer months. Recommend the gambas pil pil which was superb.

My wife picked this restaurant and said it had some great reviews and the food looked amazing. We arrive and the restaurant looked very fresh and the staff were welcoming. We opted for the full tasting menu and wow we were blown away. Course after course was so different and some food we would never of thought of ordering but it was amazing. The food came out the kitchen so perfect sometimes you didn’t want to eat as it would spoil the picture. The staff really work well together, we never had to wait they made sure we were ready for the next course and explained everything about all dishes. To top the night off Carlos came out and we thanked him for our fantastic evening. When we attend Marbella in September we will definitely be going back. If anyone wants an unbelievable food/restaurant experience then this is the place for you. Once again Carlos thanks to you and ur brilliant team!
Be the first to ReplyDisappointing food and service
Very disappointing food and service. I had the grilled octopus to start which was good but my husband’s oxtail cannelloni was bland and lacked seasoning. I had sea bass for main - the skin was not crispy so shouldn’t have been served and the dish was nothing special - I have had much better sea bass dishes. My husband had turbut and it was under cooked in a couple of places. We ordered sides of chips that were soggy and way over salted ( and believe me I love salt) and veggies that were over cooked. I only wanted a glass of wine and when I asked to try a taste of one the waiter said it was just a basic wine and there were much better ones and was trying to up sell. A decent restaurant shouldn’t have wine it isn’t happy for its customers’ to drink and no waiter should question a customer asking to try a taste of a wine which is sold by the glass. Poor experience all round and we have had much better for less money

I made a reservation for casa Eladio 6 weeks in advance of my partners 40th Birthday and planned a 4 day trip around the meal. reservation was confirmed and no furter communication from the establishment. When we turned up we were advised that a private Party was being held for the ownersn and all reservatuions were cancelled - no notifications were issued to us whatsoever, leaving no time to make alternative arrangements. When we asked front of house if they could help us with a reccomendation for an alternative we were ignored as they were, apparently, in a massive hurry to return to the festivities - they graciously offered us a slot 10 days in the future, which was hard to accept on a 4 day trip. If this is what passes for cutomer service perhaps the Michelin guide need to look beyond the quality of food provided and take the entire experience into account
Be the first to ReplyNice food and great service
There were two of us and we opted for the tasting menu and were delighted by a variety of flavors and textures. The service could not be faulted and the sommelier was very knowledgeable and helpful when we wanted to sample a few different wines with our meal. The food presentations were interesting, and for my taste, 95% of the meal was excellent with fresh food and good flavor profiles. Nothing was over the top, and while the restaurant was quiet we enjoyed the atmosphere and hope to return again one day.
Be the first to ReplyNice - but not more …
This restaurant is nice. OK food and excellent service. But in my opinion not near to deserve a Michelin star. Gambas pil pil without any taste and turbot in a strange badlooking sauce. Nevertheless quite expensive.
Be the first to ReplyOkay, but not worth it
The food was good but not brilliant, service very slow, staff friendly, just not particularly attentive. We’ve had better locally

Last evening of our holiday we dined at Casa Eladio. What an unexpected surprise. Beautiful dishes, friendly staff and cosy atmosphere. Highly recommended
