A wee find
We would have given 5/5, but after making a reservation 3 days before they did not enter it into their system so when we arrived there was not table f available or booking on their computer’s Having said that a table was found and we had excellent meal and service
Consistently good
Today my friends and I have had another great lunch. I've been here loads of times with friends, family and as a couple. It never disappoints. The menu is varied, the food is yummy, the service is spot on and always a good atmosphere. A popular place for people in Helensburgh, one of the best.

Hidden jem! Exceptional food, bursting with flavour. We choose a selection of starter and dined 'tapas' style sharing. Chilled out vibe. Just great.

Excellent service, lovely people, happy jolly place , can get noisy and disturbing if you have tinitus like me. So best to book the quite time if you can we found 2p-4pm best.
Top Notch
Absolutely brilliant experience from start to finish Staff were very welcoming and friendly, shown to a great table upstairs. Menu is varied with something for everyone with dishes that are just a little bit different from the usual run of the mill restaurants The service was quick and efficient and the food was delicious, Will definitely come here.
Bad service
I have dined at Riverhill for years and have loved and recommended the great food and atmosphere but the last four times I have been here my once infallible opinion of the place has reached a new low. Every time I have gone recently the main waiter - Kyle has rushed us no end. "Your order needs to be in by 8pm" "we need this table back by six" "order straight away" " we will have to move you" I drop at least £130 every time I visit - as I visit with family, and honestly this attitude has made me reach the opinion that I refuse to go back. My most recently visit we were rushed again, we paid £110 for food and drinks and when we left he didn't even say "Thank you" the most basic remark in hospitality. Due to this lack of appreciation for custom - I am not going back. There are other restaurants in Helensburgh what have the common courtesy of being appreciative of our custom and have the decency to thank you for the money you spend at their establishment. I'm really disappointed. I have spent so many birthdays, lunches, dinners, catch up, drinks and coffees here. Now though, I'm done.
What a great restaurant and vibe
What a gem. Tucked away from the high street up a small alleyway. Lived up to all its reviews on TripAdvisor. Booked dinner for my wife and I plus son. Great welcome and good vibe. Very friendly welcoming staff. My wife and I had the venison ragu, truly amazing. Son had the burger and was equally impressed. It is a venue where you could go alone, as a couple or group and feel equaly welcome. Definitely go again

This was a late Christmas Celebration dinner with friends that could not be fitted in before Christmas and it was so worth waiting for! As always the service here is impeccable but add in the awesome food and ambiance in Riverhill and you are always onto a winner. Grateful thanks to the whole team x

Absolutely disgusted by the service at Riverhill today. I had lunch with my friend and my husband had returned from Christmas shopping in Glasgow to pick me up. The very rude waiter told us that he could not sit down for 5 minutes whilst we paid our bill. He said that all the tables were booked, yet the restaurant was empty. He could have asked him to sit at the bar? He was extremely rude and followed us out of the restaurant and was being rather aggressive. Absolutely shocked at his behaviour. Will definitely not be returning here.

Really lovely place with amazing food!
We were recommended to come here by a friend as we are not from the area and we were not disappointed! Very cosy nice atmosphere and the food was to die for! They made us and our toddler feel so welcome. Highly recommend the Butter Chicken Masala!

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered? |
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
Any seller support?
Has anyone found a way to get a question answered? From what I can tell there is no way to get in touch with anyone that works at/for AT. Other than the occasional admin posting a consultation offer here and there they are non existent. A lot of people have the same issue I have where we cannot cash out earnings. I cannot get my warning medal removed even though I am under the threshold. Sad to say but seems like AT is holding up everyone’s funds currently. Very scary and makes me wonder….Please reply if you read this admins and can help. Tried every way possible to get in touch

I accepted a bid for a popular restaurant in Los Angeles only to receive a phone call shortly thereafter informing me that the reservation had been canceled due to it being listed on AT. I of course need to subsequently cancel the reservation on AT but get this warning that my status will be negatively affected for doing so. I've reached out to customer support about this several times with no response, not sure what to do in this station. Hoping someone can advise.

I have a prepaid reservation, but I'm allowed to transfer that reservation to others for a price that I set (up to the total price I paid).
For selling POSTPAID reservations, do I charge the buyer the full amount of the reservation when transferring? And then the buyer pays something on top of that (which is what is listed in the AppointmentTrader listing?)
Major Issue for Seller
My money is being held hostage! Can you please remove my refund medal as I am below the 11% threshold and should be able to withdraw my full daily amount now? I have been teying for a long time to get a reply on this. Major issue for people looking to do good/right like you ask and make positive sales. Being able to access earned revenue is critical and not getting any reply is very concerning for your sellers. Lot of other people having the same issue. Once below the threshold you should auto remove the warning medals.

Just wanted to put this out there as I find it quite weird. AT will hold money if your sell through rate is to low. I find this strange as you would think that sell through rate should reflect more on AT not marketing their site well enough to generate sales. It seems weird to punish sellers for listings not selling.

Banned from Resy for selling reservations- Do we have a rat on our hands???
I am new to this app and started off by selling a polo bar reservation and then quickly sold one more reservation. Not long after I received emails from Resy saying all my reservations are cancelled and I am being banned from Resy for life. How could this have possibly happened without a rat telling Resy that I sold the reservation. I need some advice on this situation and let’s catch the rat!
