Pizza's good, but you could get it anywhere else, honestly.
The experience is made by the outdoor experience, the great wait staff and general ambience! Come for the food, stay for the party

Absolute best pizza in Brooklyn! It's difficult to get a reservation especially if you come on a busy night but I would absolutely recommend eating here if you are in Brooklyn and have the chance. They always have "off-menu" pizzas: pizzas from past menus that may not be on the current menu but if you know to ask for it - they are happy to serve. My favorite is the Speck-n-wolf (margarita base pizza with speck, spices, and honey) - absolutely delicious and their Cheezus Christ - no tomato sauce, this is the equivalent of a white pizza - it's absolutely delicious.I also love their Bee Sting Pizza. Honestly, you can't go wrong unless you make some weird requests and then that's on you. They have a delicious chewy crust as the dough is made fresh in house and they grow their own vegetables. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting New York City!

Roberta's is a one-of-a-kind gem that you are fortunate to find and enjoy their food. The pizza with the whole egg on top is really good. I would recommend going.

I went to dine alone - sat at the high bench area stool bar thing. Cozy atmosphere. Friendly, fast service. I didn't feel awkward - even pre drink
Be the first to ReplyREAD ME: 1) they only take reservations on resy.
2) their voicemail is weird. call to find out for yourself 3) they accept credit cards 4) full party must arrive to be seatedthe layout of the place itself is confusing. there is a bright open space when you are on moore st but it is for delivery and takeout only. there's a winter covering entrance for the restaurant all the way to the right. the entrance to the backyard bar is in between this and you will often see a crowd in front so you may not know where the entrance is except for a piece of paper taped to the wall that says "restaurant this way" i didnt care much for the ambiance. it was dark, with christmas string lights adorned randomly. the main room looks like picnic tables and there are some normal tables in a back room that resembles a makeshift shackanyway, i browsed through yelp and went with the suggested:- margherita- bee stingand then we got the original because the 3 of us were not full. the margherita was a major disappointment. literally burnt neopolitan style pizza with a sad layer of sauce, and 4-5 spots of mozzarella cheese. a dollar slice would have been a better choice. the original had a peppery taste to it which i didn't think was fitting for a pizza. it wasn't bad, but it also wasn't great. in any case, the original is much better than the margherita and that is saying very little. SKIP BOTH OF THESE. the bee sting was the only thing worth ordering for me. the waiter gave us a bottle of chili oil to douse our pizza with. and it was pretty good. if i could go back and just order 3 bee stings, i would have. i like my pizza savory, salty, saucey, slightly crispy. while the bee sting delivered in the moment, would i drive all this way for this again? probably not since there are also a few roberta's in the city. but my bias might also be that i prefer brick oven pizza. (but also.. emily west village and emmy squared's hot honey pizza is better)

The pizza is ultra-thin ultra-thin ultra-thin Bee Sting is embellished with honey and the overall flavor is very rich That's all, folks marinated meat with Basil, fragrant but not greasy. The dough is super thin and full of flavor

If you're a pizza lover in Brooklyn, you simply must make your way to Roberta's. This neighborhood gem is truly a standout when it comes to delicious, inventive pies that will leave you craving more. The cocktails are unique and taste great as well. From the moment you walk in, you'll be struck by the cozy, welcoming atmosphere - with rustic wooden tables and a bustling open kitchen, it's clear that Roberta's is a place where food takes center stage. And oh, what food it is! The pizza at Roberta's is simply phenomenal, with a crispy, charred crust that's the perfect balance of chewy and crunchy, and toppings that range from classic (like the Margherita) to the unexpected (like the Bee Sting, which combines spicy soppressata with honey and chili flakes for a flavor explosion).

Great bar and food was delicious. Loved the ambiance. Had the oyster mushrooms which were delicious and the radatiore pasta was yummy too. Pizza was good.
Be the first to ReplyRoberta's Bee Sting pizza is a unique and delicious pizza
Roberta's Bee Sting pizza is a unique and delicious pizza that has gained quite a bit of popularity among pizza lovers. This pizza is named after its two key ingredients: spicy soppressata and hot honey. The combination of these two flavors creates a perfect balance of sweet and spicy that is truly unforgettable. The crust of Roberta's Bee Sting pizza is thin and crispy, which perfectly complements the toppings. The sauce is made from San Marzano tomatoes, which are known for their rich and sweet flavor. The spicy soppressata is thinly sliced and perfectly cooked, adding a nice kick of heat to each bite. The honey is drizzled over the top, providing a touch of sweetness that perfectly complements the spiciness of the soppressata.Overall, Roberta's Bee Sting pizza is a good take on pizza for any pizza lover looking to try something new and exciting. The pizza cooks quickly but is a bit smaller and pricey. I'd come by if you're in the area but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

One of the best brick oven pizzas. Service is good. Although, i wish the tables were a little bigger. Most of our food couldn't fit on the table and their chairs are a little uncomfortable

We drive all the way from Jersey city at least 2x per month for their amazing pizza. You need to make a reservation in advance if you want to sit inside. Their pizza is out of this world.

Not even exaggerating when I write this: the BEST pizza I've ever had in my life. The bee sting pizza...*chefs kiss*. Every day that I don't eat this pizza again is a day wasted in my opinion. I have nothing else to say about this place.
Be the first to ReplyA classic on the NYC pizza scene.
Roberta's pizzas remain excellent, with thin chewy dough and great texture on the crust. My favorite is usually the bee sting which cuts the savory pizza with the sweetness from the honey. This time I tried the Normcore which was also very good, great balance of cheese and dough. One pizza can usually feed 2 people unless you're very hungry. Drinks are pretty decent here as well.Prices have gone up a few dollars since my last visit but unfortunately that seems to be everywhere these days.
Be the first to ReplyHad an early dinner at Roberta's on Sunday.
I was excited by the appetizer I ordered, but found the flavor of the pizza to be strange.Quality: My meal at Roberta's did not go as I figured. I started with the Stracciatella, which was very salty and full of garlic, but absolutely fantastic. A few drops of chili oil on top of the cheesy goodness and it is perfection. This set my hopes high for the pizza, but I was shocked that it was undone by the cheese. I went with the Famous Original Pizza, which was solid except the weird cheese flavor. The texture, the crunch, and again, a little chili oil, were all good. However, the cheese combo did not work at all for me, it tasted sour and caused the whole pizza flavor to be off. Not sure if it was the caciocavallo or just the mozzarella mix, but it didn't do it for me.Quantity: The Stracciatella was way bigger than expected, the pizza was standard.Value: $16 for the Stracciatella. $21 for the Famous Original Pizza.Ambiance: Roberta's has an expansive space at their Bushwick location. They have a takeout and delivery space, an outdoor area, their fine dining restaurant, a tiki bar, and then their indoor dining room. After winding my way through the wrong spaces, eventually I was seated at a high-top in the main dining area. They have long communal tables, some bar seating, and a few seats outside. The music was good and they had a superhero movie playing on the television.Crowd: A few others having an early Sunday dinner.Service: The servers were great, but the signage to find the right space could be improved.Parking: Tons of nearby street parking.

We used Roberta's to run a team event virtually, first shipping folks the pizzas, and then running the event. The pizzas themselves were great, the event was super entertaining, and aside from some of the pizzas being late to their folks, the overall event was wonderful. Would highly recommend!

Worth it after a long day. Go during the morning. Less busy. I went during the evening and didn't like the wait time

When we decided to visit New York, I told Nate that I only wanted to eat like two slices of pizza while in town. Well, that was silly, because we ended up eating at least double that. It's true, New York has lots of pizza places. We stopped by Roberta's with some friends and hung out in their tiki tent while waiting for a table, which was pretty cozy and they had a fire going outside in late November.Once we were called in, we were seated at a cozy communal table and ordered several pizzas, including the famous bee sting, white guy, and the Vladimir Puttanesca. We also started with the 'nduja stracciatella, which was delicious - super rich, creamy, and with perfectly toasted bread, it was a great share plate for the five of us.The pizzas were delicious and wood-fired, thin crust, aka my favorite type of pizza. My least favorite was definitely the Vladimir - it just had a weird flavor I couldn't place. (Not the anchovies, because I love them.) The other two were tasty. Our server was great with recommendations.
