Imagine being in the middle of the forest having a picnic
Imagine being in the middle of the forest having a picnic table with your friends and enjoying a delicious meal - come to Alpine Inn offers a unique outdoor dining experience. When I walk into the outdoor dining area, I immediately feel connected to the nature and I feel relaxed. Lots of great selection of food, desserts and drinks (cocktails, wine, beer, nonalcoholic beverages). I love their smoked salmon tacos, BBQ ribs. Quick service and delicious food. Cannot wait to try them out with friends next week. Cheers!
Be the first to ReplyKinda unique, hip, rustic beer garden / well-oiled machine.
Outdoor dining in a tree lined courtyard complete with big TVs. Some locals love it. I find the whole process of dining there a little unappealing, starting with parking... Parking can be challenging for dinner, and there can be a wait (incl. weeknights). Don't expect friendly staff, greetings or formalities, booster seats for toddlers, etc. Staff will seat you while reminding you that you have a 2-hour time limit at lunch on a weekday ("Thanks..." I guess). Order food off your phone (not optional). The kitchen is fast. The food is pretty basic American fare, brought to your table. Kinda loud, cold, and bustling, but fine for what it is.

We got outdoor seating. Our order was not accurate since we ordered some wraps and the description mentioned avocados but there were no avocados inside. It was a bummer that there was no heaters on during the hour we were there. I would recommend dressing appropriately if sitting outside.

I've been hearing about Alpine Inn for years and finally went and it was so much fun!! Awesome outdoor area that's very dog and kid friendly! The food and drink options are really fun. They have great smoked meats. It would be a fun place to watch sports games as well. It's also a good group spot because you can all place separate orders. Alpine Inn gets very packed quickly when it's nice out, so make sure to arrive early or expect a little wait.

Since we discovered Alpine Inn we've been here at least 5 times. Service is always friendly and helpful. Food is nice and has a good amount of variety fro all tastes. The best: the place itself and its views. You breath calm everywhere. Must visit.

The ambiance is perfect for friends to enjoy food while watch the game or jus ton a nice doing or summer day. I loved that you could bring your dogs. The food was ok. It wasn't amazing but it's wasn't bad either. The service is fast but not personal. You order online and pay online. Servers are busy running around and dropping off food.

Highly recommend. Great outdoor seating. Awesome mountain surrounding. Bring a party, date or family. Staff was amazing. Brought a large work party and they just kept serving and bringing us awesome things. Food was stellar. I am pretty sure our party ordered everything on the menu x2. Drinks were great. Food was great. Only downside is that they close a little early on certain days but it was a weekday and I suppose expected considering we had to work the next day. Will be back.
Be the first to ReplyLegendary place I finally got to dine at with family.
The fastest, hands down, service I've ever gotten. Order on your phone and within 65 seconds your drink is brought to you. I've never experienced something so efficient in my life and it made me keep ordering. The burger was insane - never realized a place could pump something out this good and mouth watering. The pizzas were killer. The fries hit the spot. The beers were unique. Cocktails were cheap relative to what I'm used to. $10-$12?! Lovely. The ambiance is the best, felt like I was a rich person camping next to the river with my heat lamp on. Likely one of my new favorite spots in the South Bay.

Be the first to ReplyI really love this place.
It's a no so little hidden gem tucked in the hills. Their waiting area is a great example of thoughtful hospitality- you can order some snacks and drinks while you wait for your table. The menu is limited in the waiting area but it's so much better than standing around waiting. You can get peanuts, chips n guacamole, or fries to munch on! Food we ordered: * Brussels sprouts, * rosemary flatbread, * falafel sandwich, * tomato soup, * garlic fries. We loved everything on our order. One of the best Brussels sprouts, and the flatbread was chefs kiss we also ordered some beer- they have a good selection to pick from. Their garden/outdoor seating is lovely- you instantly forget the outside world and makes it a pleasant dining experience! It's a family and dog friendly place too.
Be the first to ReplyI loved the outdoor beer garden at Alpine Inn.
It featured great food from Zott's, delicious beers, wines, and cocktails, and a super fun vibe. Heat lamps at every table protect you from the evening chill. Service is fast and courteous. Ordering and payment is super easy via QR codes. Come here for the perfect place to unwind after work!
Be the first to ReplyI really enjoyed the food at the Alpine Inn.
I also enjoyed the ambience, outdoor setting and sunshine through even though there were umbrellas around the table as soon as we were seated, they served us water and I hadn't really ordered my food really well before it was sitting right in front of meon this trip I had a chance to try the brisket tacos. I also got a chance to try two different pizzas. The brussels sprouts and I had a little bit of the smash burger. Everything on the menu was exquisite. I can't wait to return with my family. There's so many delicious items we want to try and again the setting ambience the service are all delightful.

I've been here a couple of times with family and it's honestly one of those place we're always excited to go back to! The service is always super fast and friendly, food is good, and the environment is enjoyable especially on a nice sunny day :) Recently came here with a large group of friends (around 15 people + 2 dogs). We planned to get here 10-15 mins before opening on a Saturday (11 AM) to make sure we got a table all together. Definitely worth getting here early since parties tend to line up before opening! The parking lot can get filled up fast, and your whole party needs to be present in order to get seated. Ordering is super easy since it's through a QR code and everyone can open their own tab and order/pay separately. Favorites: - Crispy brussels sprouts - Garlic herb & parmigiano reggiano fries - The Besio (pizza) - James and the Giant Peach (cocktail) Only downsides are the lines for the indoor restrooms (there's only 2). They can take a while. They do have porta-potties as well, but not sure if they're the cleanest. Also, if you don't get here within the first hour of opening (on a nice & busy day) be prepared to wait a while for a table. At least they have a waiting area on the side so you can order some drinks while waiting. Honestly, if there wasn't a 2 hour limit we could spend a lot of time here lol. Always a place we'll go back to from time to time.

Food is great but what's up with the attitude of the management? Staffs are kind but those who check you in and deal with bills/checks have horrible attitudes. So RUDE. I felt very uncomfortable with these mean ladies. This is my very first time leaving reviews as I can usually tolerate any kids of service levels. But these ladies were so uncool.
Be the first to ReplyIn search of a lively lunch spot, I stumbled upon a gem.
The expansive dining area was impressive. Opting for the Alpine Burger, I was treated to a delectable delight. The flavors were rich and satisfying, truly remarkable. My waiter's attentiveness and assistance added to the positive experience. Highly commendable, I can't stress enough how much I enjoyed my visit to this establishment. If you're seeking a memorable dining experience, this place is a definite must-try.
Be the first to ReplyI love the convenient ordering system.
Before being seated you can also order drinks from the entrance bar. Spicy margarita was soo yummy. We just finished a 5 mile hike and wanted to snack before the drive home. Pizza was really good but the sliders weren't that great. Bacon jam didn't make much of a difference in terms of quality/flavor. The banana pudding was absolutely delicious and refreshing to have in the hot sun. The fruits added a nice touch of freshness which made it a perfect dessert to end our meal with. The vibes are very casual and families seem to frequent here for a nice brunch.

As a millennial who spends a lot of time at brunch with groups of people, I think I found the spot that meshes the best parts of brunch for me and my group of friends. First of all, ordering off your phone not only makes payment a breeze, but you can just pick and choose and go at your own pace - and it definitely makes the one check for one group situation less of an issue. Plus when your food gets to your table, they say your name instead of your order - which is a nice personal touch - and I don't need the whole place knowing I ordered the double smash burger with extra bacon and cheese SHHHHHH. jk. The outside, beer garden setup here feels like an escape. It's rustic, it's nature, the smell of the bar-b-q in the air lets you know you're going to get fresh off the grill flavors. Tried the garlic fries, brisket breakfast burrito, and the banana pudding. Each was excellent, and I will drive back just for that banana pudding, alone. This place is a winner - I can't imagine how crazy it will get when the weather gets sunnier.

Dropped by Alpine Inn after a hike in Monte Bello up to Black Mountain. We were seated within 25 minutes on a Saturday afternoon. Pretty chill beer garden with an extensive menu of burgers, wood-fired pizzas, salad, sandwiches, burritos, and drinks including root beer floats! There wasn't any one category of dish that stood out, but everything was decent. Since it's somewhat of a college establishment near Stanford University, it made sense that you had to show ID in order to get a wristband for ordering alcohol. I ordered The Francesco pizza, and really appreciated the lightly salted crust, which was a nice touch. The ingredients were very fresh and the arugula wasn't too bitter. It was easy to customize and make special requests via the online ordering system. Payment was also online, but the system was weird in that you input your credit card prior to ordering, but you have to actually approve the payment and tips after the order. The service had much to be desired though. There really wasn't much attention after the food was dropped off. The waitstaff all looked really young (about college age). It was really hard to flag someone down if there was something wrong with the order or you needed something else.Might drop by again if I were in the area to try some of the other pizzas or drinks, but probably wouldn't go out of my way for this.

First of all I'd like to say the Good is awesome and the service staff really tries to put forth their best effort. My grip is that I was part of a large group a week or so ago that wax assured we would have a covered area to be for our run h get together. Some of our group made sure to be there by 10, so waited half an hour before the place even opened just o be sure we were first in line, since they do t take reservations. We were assigned to a "hostess" who shoved us into the back corner of the outdoor "beer garden" even though we repeatedly requested to be put inside the cornered "tent" area. There were heaters and umbrellas, but that didn't keep us fro Getting soaked in the downpour that happened on 3/4. This was totally unacceptable, and if I have anything to do with it, we as a group ( 30 +. People who pretty much live locallly) will not ever be back! This establishment demonstrated how much it doesn't care one bit about the people who first made them be successful- the people who live in surrounding areas! Even though these are the people who originally supported the place when they first opened. But I guess that doesn't matter, since now you can't even get parking or a place or sit if you don't get there by 11am on any given day.Enjoy your siccess, rest assured we ( the 30 + people you left out in the rain on 3/4 )won't be back!

We came with a group of 5 friends. Wait time sucked was about 45 minutes on a busy Saturday morning for brunch. We ordered the Margarita Pizza, Bestios Pizza, 2 Bratz Pretzels with beer mustard and beer cheese, Bratwurst , fries, Philly cheesesteak sandwich, Loaded Nachos, and beers for sharing.Whenever I see Margarita Pizza on the menu, I like to give it a try and be the judge. It was a 4/5 only because I've had better sauce but the char on the crust was really good. I tried the Bestios pizza and it was really yummy .I love the vibes and ambiance as we sat outside in the Biergarten. It had very cowboy, picnic, rodeo aesthetics. One thing to note is that they only have 2 indoor restrooms then, there are some port-a-potties in the back of the outdoors. Definitely will comeback to try more items!!
