A must visit Veg Buffet Dine in Experience
We visited Royal Indianaa for Dinner buffet in Dec 2023 and we thoroughly enjoyed the dine in experience. This is a pure vegetarian buffet menu and the spread is a balanced mix of South Indian and North Indian cuisine. The food taste was excellent, ambience was amazing and on the day we visited there was also live music and a magician. Service was exceptional and special mention to Dhanasekar for quick service and accommodating our bespoke requests. The buffet consists of soup, starters, main course, desserts, sharbat and golisoda. The highlight for me was chef Venkatesh Bhats signature South Indian dishes like Royal Indianaa rasam, Arachu vitta sambar and the amazing spread of desserts both Indian and continental. I totally recommend this place for a nice evening out with family or to celebrate a special occasion with your loved ones.

Great dine in experience and excellent variety
We went for lunch on a Friday as a family and we were given the room with a round table for the 6 of us. This to me was a big win already that I need not worry about my toddler causing issues for other parties in the restaurant. Food: Excellent. 1. The welcome drink was a kokum sharbat. I never thought I will have multiple servings of a welcome drink. It was that good and the right thing for a hot summer day. 2. The soup was a vaazhaitthandu soup which was like a dal shorba and not much signs of vaazhaitthandu. The taste was really good. 3. 6 starters: paneer tikka - really good Veg galouti kebab - really good Ragi dosa - so so Gobi 65 - good Potato fry - so so Suiyam - good Overall the starters were really good and were served to our table. 4. Main course - I couldn’t try everything as there were just so many. I liked the bhendi do pyaza the best amongst the North Indian entrees. The paneer dish and the mixed vegetables one were good too. Roti, butter naan were like one would expect. The idiyappam and thengapal was a good add. I skipped chaat, Chinese and pulao. I tried the South Indian rice and entrees. Rasam was excellent and was marked as Chef Venkatesh Bhat special. I also liked the chinna vengayam poondu kozhambu. The baby corn South Indian fry was very unique I thought I loved it. The other so so ones were a murungakkai paya and a thogayal. The paya was not needed in the menu given it is a vegetarian restaurant and my bad that I tried it given I have never had non-vegetarian in my life. 5. Goli soda deserves a special mention. Excellent inclusion in the menu. 6. Desserts - way too many to remember and try. I tried just the malaai sandwich and was really nice. Kids liked the carrot cake and other European desserts and ice cream. The elders liked the saffron semiya payasam. Overall, it was a very memorable lunch experience for our family!
