Unassuming little shop in the middle of a very busy (and pricey) part of Hell's Kitchen. Place makes both Spanish food and pizza, with standard fare like Chuletas, pepperoni pizza and the like. Food is an insane value for the price- I paid 7-8 dollars for a full tray of Roast Chicken, rice and beans, and sweet plantains (which are the best!!) Their chicken and broccoli pizza, which was 3.50, while not the most visually appealing, tasted very fresh and had a nice crunch. Plus, it passed the fold test with flying colors (real NYers know). Overall, they have some great choices for the price in such an expensive area. The place may seem lowkey, but the flavors absolutely are not.

This place makes Spanish food! Dominican food to be exact! I honestly wasn't expecting the food to be good since it's a pizzeria. They give you rice and beans with meat and sweet plantains with a side salad! Everything included! If you get two orders the most you'll pay is $23! That's a steal being that we're in Manhattan! I've ordered their goat stew, it was tender and delicious! Honestly this place shocked me on how good they cook their food! I've ordered chicken soup so good! I've ordered their pork/pernil which is my favorite! They also make the best damn beans! I've been look for Spanish food by 50th all the other places were nasty and overpriced! This place is authentic and it's good not to mention cheap! They also give you so much food in one order! Two people can eat off one order. Definitely recommend ordering from here!
Be the first to ReplyBest pizza I ever had.
The sauce isn't sweet. The crust is fluffy and soft. It taste amazing.

So dirty! Food inspectors need to go to this place ASAP!! The spanish food is traditional Dominican food, taste like good ole' grandmas cooking, but once you see this place your stomach will turn. The place is so filthy! I don't know how they sell pizza here because Digiorno's frozen pizza looks better than the ones here.
Be the first to ReplyThe Puerto Rican food here is pretty damn good.
It's probably the last place in Hell's Kitchen left. The pizza isn't bad either.... better in my opinion than Justino's down the block. I wish they were open later but it seems they cater more to the lunchtime crowd from the Hospital. They're closed on the weekends, which really sucks.

This spot is easy to walk by & miss because it is small & hidden between two larger stores. Don't be deceived by the tiny space. This restaurant ย is a hidden gem. Very friendly, fast, clean & large portions of food & the prices are ย very reasonable. ย Been a customer for over 8 yrs. Customer service & food is excellent!
Be the first to ReplyI just got some pork and rice and beans.
It was fatty but delicious, you just set aside the fat as the portion was generous, there was plenty lean meat too, and a wonderful price. I liked the girl serving, she was very sweet. I enjoyed eating there and the casual atmo with local high school students popping in on a weekday afternoon. Thank heaven my nabe still has regular places like this.

I went to Rubby's one night and got very good, cheap pizza. A couple days later, I decided that considering the great price, I'd go again. That was a mistake, the pizza tasted completely different, soggy, and just old. I don't want to give it low stars because of the potential it had on the first night I went, but because of my poor experience, this is the case.

Good food just frustrating every time you call the young girl says "call me back in 5 minutes, I'm busy." They could also be nicer. The Spanish food is good. The polloGuisado is good and the carne guidada is too. Never had the pizza there and never actually been inside. Only have had delivery.
Be the first to ReplyThis little whole in the wall spot has good Spanish food.
The food is a little bland and they shouldn't put cold salad next to hot stew. However the sauce over the rice with the beans are good. Can't say anything about the pizza.
