🤮 1/5 - Terrible Omakase Experience

Dined in at 6:00p.m. on a Sunday. The chef probably had a day off.
My fiancé and I ordered the omakase with paired beverages. In summary:
-1st dish - sonomono - served as pickled tomatoes there was a terribly bitter flower there - not sure if it was a garnish or is meant to be eaten (why is it there). The Nihonshu was good - poorly paired with this dish.
-2nd dish - seared kingfish. No flavour from the sear whatsoever. I question the quality of the fish. The dish was bland.
-3rd dish - "nest scallop". Most ok tasting dish of the night. presentation was a mess. Barely any salsa for the fried mess it was presented on.
-4th dish - Fried barramundi. Not seasoned. As much as I love the taste of barramundi and the pairing of Chablis, the fish was not seasoned at all. I also forgot I was in a Japanese restaurant for a moment. It's hilarious that this dish is served with quinoa and there are no spoons provided with the dish. Are we expected to eat quinoa with chopsticks?
-5th dish Wagyu - served cold. By this time, my fiancé had enough and asked for the bill after the first bite.
-Wine pairing - only 3 of the 6 were Nihonshu (Japanese sake) - very questionable choices.
As for the ambience, we were seated in the main dining room - next to a loud obnoxious table that was cussing every 5 minutes. Here I thought the wait staff would politely ask for the table to mind their volume. No - I guess I had to politely ask them myself.
Over the course of the meal, nothing was explained about the pairing. The dish was basically placed on your table and the paired drink would come 5 mins later.
After speaking with the manager, she had the gall of mentioning that plenty of others had enjoyed the omakase. It's also a joke that the manager thinks that what was served is of the same quality as a Michelin starred restaurant. She clearly would not know any better.
Also, I was given a discount for my troubles but I'm sure I was still billed incorrectly (after looking at the online omakase menu).
In short, sub-par service, food is something you can make at home, the environment was not intimate at all and not worth the price you're being charged. My Japanese fiancé does not think that this is a Japanese restaurant.
