Savida Santa Monica Reviews from The Last Year

An acquaintance of mine mentioned she worked here but by the time I went she no longer worked there. However I was forearmed with knowledge about some of the dishes from another acquaintance. I got there right as they opened on Sunday and started off with their tuna tacos which were two small tortillas but packed with cubes of tuna. I ended up getting their ceviche and the hamachi crudo as well to stick with their raw offerings. The ceviche came with little plantain chips that was a nice crunchy/sweet counterpoint to the richness of the fish. While they're both listed as crudo on the menu, the hamachi had a completely different preparation and while just as good had that traditional taste with a little bit of crunch. The only cooked item I got was the pita with seaweed butter, again sounded simple but in execution was that right balance of sweet and savory. I didn't see it on the menu but I asked about their fig dessert and they had just enough to make it. I also asked about the strawberry basil water that I was told was gratis but didn't receive until I asked for it. I wonder when they'll reopen because when they do I'll be right there...asking for the off menu items I've come to expect.
We loved the fresh delicious food here.
Is it permanently closed? I hope not. That would be a shame....

Hi I am new to the platform. What happens if I bid on a restaurant reservation expires and no one has responded to the request?

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.

My reservation expired but I did not get a credit and I see no way to cancel. How do I the funds back as a credit?

I have a similar question, it seems like when money is refunded it doesnt go immediately what is the process of this since its essentially a debit card and not a credit card
