Sea Palace Restaurant Amsterdam Reviews
Wonderful Chinese evening with authentic dishes and fair prices
This was the best Chinese Restraurant I ever visited in Europe. The ambience in this old pagode boat is very unique. The service is spot on. The food is delicious and authentic and the price is absolutelly fair. Go there and the Peking Duck is a must
Góður matur
Very good ery good food and very good service. Everything is ordered over the phone and just make sure to order one thing at a time. Otherwise you will get all the food at once on the table. and very good service
Disappointing
14-9-25 on the top floor. LOCATION? Great! VIEW? Fabulous! INTERIOR? Nice and quirky! THE FOOD? Rather disappointing. We had an extensive dim sum menu, but everything tasted bland or the same – whether it was fish or chicken. You could mainly ta

I highly encourage you make reservations as this place is big, but it gets busy. The restaurant is huge. It’s on the water. Their menu is small, but I am sure everyone can find something to their liking. You do have to order on your phone via the Q

Ten out of Ten. Service, quality of food, quality price ratio the Sea Palace has it all. Highly recommended. Even the dessert was more than we expected. .. mango cheese cake with fruit. Very nice
A very bad tourist trap
We had high expectations for this restaurant that was quite difficult to reserve. The outcome is a complete disaster! The worst chinese restaurant that we ever had up to now in relation to the ratio of food quality / price. Our meal costed 90 eur for

Tasty food. Terrible service, they use QR code to self order. Drinks arrive quickly but entrees never come after 40 minutes we are informed the computer messed up(no apologies) and 10 minutes later 1st of 2 dishes arrives. Ask about the other 10 minu
Sea Palace is right in the heart of the action in
Sea Palace is right in the heart of the action in Amsterdam, on the water. The decor is very interesting, almost extravagently Chinese. It is a bustling atmosphere inside, with servers, busters and hostesses buzzing around almost at a frantic pace. I
Gorgeous restaurant.
Very picture worthy. Food not bad but not anything special. Service was good maybe because it wasn't busy since we came right at opening. We only tried because we were told MJ ate here by our boat tour guide. 4/5 worth trying definitely a little
Make a reservation.
They don't answer the phone so go online in advance. However the food is amazing and the serive is great. Jonathan was our server. He was the best. The hostess was awful. Everything else was fantastic.
This place was fantastic.
The staff was great but I did think food was slightly overpriced. Instead of 4 dumplings, you get 3 and a normal amount for the table is at least 4. That's the main reason for 4 stars. The food was good and views were fun too. It feels like one

The resto is right outside double tree hotel.
It is a floating Chinese resto and upon entering, I saw this is a Michelin star for 2024. We were seated right away and ordering was done by using the QR code on the table. Food was delivered by a robot, stopped close to the stairs and was finally
The location is enchanting, floating right along
The location is enchanting, floating right along Amsterdam's canals. The three-story building, with every corner, beautifully reflects elements of China . The front attendant was kind enough to allow us to stay and wait for our table, even thoug

Service was the worst! U order on line, for a nice restaurant that should not b the case. Our drinks never showed up until after the meal came. I had to ask for soy sauce 3 times. I was changed for a to go box. Very disappointed. The only thing that
Was craving Chinese food in Amsterdam and heard about this
Was craving Chinese food in Amsterdam and heard about this floating restaurant. Tofu hit the spot although you could probably skip ordering the soup dumplings. Really nice view of the water from inside!!
Too expensive. Not recommended.
Nice, but not fantastic food. Incredibly expensive. €183 for 4 with 2 starters, 4 meals, and 6 drinks. Also, tiny koi pool at entrance has about 8 large fish in tiny pool and one was dying. Very cruel. Not worth the money.
Style over substance
The setting is fantastic right on the river and has a Hong Kong ambience. The service is really good but the food wasn't really to our liking. The chicken with peanuts wasn't like a chicken satay, the beef with macadamia nuts was much better. The
Good in all aspects
Great food in a good atmosphere. Our dietary requirements were handled well. The food was delicious. Attractive location on the water
Excellent Chinese food
Every time I am in Amsterdam I try to eat there. Great food and friendly staff. I’ll be back for a third time soon👍🏽✌🏽I recommend this place.
I sauntered over to the restaurant about 8:20 pm.
It was across from my Doubletree hotel and there was a slight rain. The hostess said I could not dine as they were full for the night with reservations and the kitchen closed at 9:00pm. I asked if I could sit at the bar, seeing all the stools were em
Not a big Chinese food fan, but pretty good.

From earlier comments, I was unsure about the service but food was apparently worth it. Well, our experience was different. I'm a little old school and prefer a physical menu; none here, only electronically. On top of that you must order electronical

The customers service were horrible, I agree with almost all the negative comments on here. They were chatting, not attentive. Very disorganized. The food was mediocre. Do not be fooled with the hype. More Chinese restaurants nearby like 5 min walk.
The food was good but the customer service was horrible.
I don't mind ordering on my app and having my food delivered but the waiters and waitresses we encountered had attitude and all we asked for were straws that we didn't get until the 3rd request and some condiments.
Always consistent.
Good foods served fast and hot. Open 12noon to 12midnight. Great surroundings. Lots of choices.
Not good.
Over hype. Go somewhere else. Service non-existent. Recommend by a number of locals but it's not good at all.

Sometimes you just wanna embrace the tourist in you and fall for the tourist traps, at least I do anyway. But how can you NOT feel just a liiiittle curious about a floating, ornate, extravagant Chinese restaurant? On a harbor/river? In my defense, it
