Pleasant setting, efficient service. The menu is promising, but the dishes are ultimately quite disappointing: the starters are good but quite small, while the dishes are abundant but poorly designed. I tried the bluefish, which was overcooked (the skin was burnt, I was offered to change it) and which was served with several accompaniments whose flavors did not combine at all. Wines too expensive. Restaurant not recommended, there are better in the neighborhood.

It was very good, especially the dessert. Service was prompt and polite, and the Tempranillo wine was good. The Creme Brulee dessert was outstanding; the creme itself incorporated some berries, and it was topped with blackberries and a strawberry.

Lovely service, good food, lively atmosphere. I found the appetizers to be excellent and the entrees a bit rich. Drinks were excellent. Would return.

I had Solomon with brussel Sprouts and Quinoa. It was soaked in oil! I couldn't tell the flavor! The fish was tender and if it wasn't for the oil it could have been delicious.

There is no dine-in table service. They are only doing family catering—this was written on 9/13/2022.
Be the first to ReplyDisappointing
I had high expectations based on the other reviews but this was an unpleasant dining experience. An interesting menu, with a strong variety of ingredients and flavors, and well-prepared. We all enjoyed our selections. But the service surprisingly bad - unfriendly, borderline rude. A meal-ruiner. At this price point and level of hype, I expected at least passable service. Confused about the number of positive reviews - definitely not consistent with my experience. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and would never return.

Very eclectic menu drawing inspiration from different parts of the world. Wasn’t sure if it was going to work but it did. Great food throughout the dinner. Service was extremely professional.

We thought that we wanted to sit in outdoor cabana. It was too cold and windy which made it feel even colder. Melissa was gracious enough yo find a table inside. It was separated from everyone else so we felt comfortable for covid safety. Melissa our waitress was very helpful in our selection process for both food and wine. She even gave me a taste of a wine that was served by the glass or bottle. That actually made it easy to select the bottle that we should drink. We started with appetizers: House made Parisian Gnocchi with prufock fonduta, ramps and morels. It was very nice though not my dish. Burrata with very fresh and perfectly ripe figs, garlic olive oil and toast. Great dish. Farm greens salad was really great. First the portion was huge. The greens were fresh and crispy. The Italian vinaigrette dressing was really refreshingly tasty. The baby beet salad was also huge. The three different colors of beets were prepared just the way they should be prepared. Very good dish. I ordered the hanger steak which was cooked exactly the way that I requested. True medium rare. Frankly it tasted fine but slightly tough. The cipollini onions and shishito peppers were terrific. The roast pork chop to my surprise was not dry and inedible. It actually was really delicious. It had great flavors with each bite. I am glad that I hot to share it. The special for the night was the Atlantic Halibut with a green coconut curry sauce, chili crunch, broccolini, jasmine rice cake and Thai basil. It was enjoyed by the two of us who ate it. We shared the dessert which was the Basque style cheese cake. Everyone enjoyed it. The service was perfectly attentive by Melissa. We will definitely come back. They do a great job addressing Covid Protocol.

On three occasions I was disappointed. The pastry was heavy rather than flaky and the 'dragon' wings were sweet. I'll try you again soon.
Be the first to ReplyTiny gem, delightful food, excellent service
This is a tiny restaurant, and we sat at the counter overlooking the kitchen. The menu was 4 courses with a choice of 2 dishes for each course. I was a little unnerved by the sample menu on the website (tripe, pickles, peanuts), but the real menu updates regularly and so I didn’t need to resort to the separate vegetarian menu. For each course there was one dish that was more Asian-inspired and one more European-inspired. The dishes were designed delightfully with interesting texture and flavor combinations, and the food was well executed. The wines by the glass were few but intriguing (and the Greek white was delicious). We weren’t rushed, and with amuse bouche, palate cleanser, and post dessert nibbles, felt well hosted. My only complaint was that there was a lot of food - so go hungry!
