Great omkase! Might be the best bang for your buck in NYC.

Was looking for a new date night spot and at this price
Was looking for a new date night spot and at this price point, Shiki omakase provides good value for money. Their 12 piece menu is just the right amount of food. Highlight for me was the A5 steak and uni combo piece, it was definitely unique. I didn't love the lack of a hand roll at the end though, they made us order it separately and it was not cheap. They also have a good selection of sake and beer, or you can BYO for a corkage fee. Make sure to arrive on time to savor the full experience!

This was my first omakase and it was definitely an experience! The staff was welcoming and interactive, explaining every piece of fish and any accompanying sauce. It was super cool to see them make and assemble everything in front of you. Every piece was amazing and melted in your mouth, the uni was also super fresh and buttery. The place is small but cozy with the counter top seating around 10 or so. I personally think this was a little too expensive for the amount but thats just my personal opinion.

Shiki Omakase in New York City offers a top-notch dining experience with a serene ambiance and attentive service. Its minimalist yet elegant decor and friendly staff create an inviting atmosphere. The chef's mastery of Japanese cuisine shines through in every dish, from delicate sashimi to expertly crafted sushi rolls. Despite its high quality, Shiki manages to keep prices reasonable, making it a favorite and unforgettable dining experience.
Food was very decent.
Fish was very fresh for the price but the rice was hard. Service was whatever. Beware with their payment device that they set their lowest suggested tips from 25% after tax even for lunch. You may be end up paying over 35%-40% tips of what you actually ordered if you are not careful. I took down one star for their service and another star for their aggressive tipping system.
Very quiet and quaint restaurant.
Had the smaller portion Omakase dinner and the sushi was very fresh and many pieces literally melted in your mouth. Would highly recommend because of the quality, attentive service and price. I've been to several Omakase restaurants in New York City and this is the one I will definitely return to. Added plus: There is plenty of street parking available just around the corner!
This was my first time experiencing omakase in New York
This was my first time experiencing omakase in New York City. I had heard some good things about this place, and the cost of $65 pp for a 12-course menu really drew us in. To note, we made reservations (credit card required to hold reservations). It wasn't fully booked when we went but I'm not sure if they allow walk-ins. All-in-all, this experience was great. The chefs were efficient and kind, but didn't rush us through the experience. They gave us time to savor each course and asked us for our opinions following our course. It is set in a small counter-only restaurant in SoHo, and the intimate setting was clean and minimalist. For $65, you get 12 courses which include uni, toro, caviar, wagyu, and scallop (my favorite). At the end of the 12 courses, they ask you if you would like to add on any additional courses which we opted not to do but it is nice they have the option. Overall, this was a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend for anyone looking for an affordable omakase experience with good quality ingredients.

The food was delicious and prepared with care but the experience was rushed as they only allow one hour and try to move you along quite rudely. I am used to being served with an explanation of each piece and time to savor each bite. At this location, six pieces were presented together and we were reprimanded when we did not eat quickly enough for them to dump six more. We had a seven pm reservation at at 7:55 were ordered to leave as the next seating was at the door even though we were not done. They should have fewer seatings and adopt the two hour seating time slot that is appropriate for fine dining and good conversation over well prepared sushi.

an omakase for under $100 ($65 to be exact) for 12 delightful pieces of sushi - and it's GOOOOD! the staff is extremely friendly and the chefs are talented and chill - making the experience super enjoyable. It's counter seating as you get to see the chefs prepare each individual piece with so much care. My friend is GF and they even brought out GF soy sauce and prepared her pieces separately. the fatty tuna was melt in your mouth delicious and the hotate scallop was the perfect texture and just dissolved. Just overall a lovely experience with fresh fish and a great ambiance, so worth it

They were very attentive and also v quick probably because of the quick turn around between sets. It's a hard hour. Did the 17 course omakase. The eel was my least favourite while being my most anticipated. Really enjoyed the squid, king salmon and scallop sets. Very memorable. Nice jazzy music was playing or renditions of popular songs, it was nice and quirky.

One of, if not the, best experiences I've had in a restaurant. Wish I had the 17 piece omakase just so I could stay longer. Chefs and servers were very friendly, the bar was nice and relaxed, there was the perfect amount of time to cleanse your palette between each piece, and of course there was a great variety of delicious sushi. Already planning on going again!

Thank you for the question, if a seller is working on answering your bid, you cannot cancel it until their time is up and the bid is released back to you. The full amount of funds then go back into your AT account. Typically a seller has 48-72 hours to complete the bid.
