I've actually been here a few times when I was a student at CPP and every time I left feeling very satisfied and full. The quality of the sushi is amazing and fresh! You also get a bunch of options on the AYCE menu such as sashimi, sushi rolls, hand rolls, appetizers, and carpaccio (dinner). If you don't want AYCE, they do have a la carte options and lunch/drink specials. The service here is also top notch!
Be the first to ReplyBest sushi in the area and fast and efficient service.
Everyone is very nice and polite.

Instagram: ivyheartsfood Yay! A ayce sushi spot that includes sashimi! But even if you get only ayce sushi the rice to fish ratio is perfect! They don't try to fill the sushi with rice. Will definitely be back!
Be the first to ReplyThis is the best all you can eat sushi place.
I would especially recommend it for birthdays because they turn out the lights and sing to you and make a big deal about it. There's sushi is amazing and it's about $50 a person.

Be the first to ReplyShow sushi is a number 1 hit.
I am willing to drive the 2 hours just to have sushi here. Little disappointed that they raised the AYCE price from $30 to now $39.99 but everything has gone up in price. Even with the price bump it's still worth it. Super fast service and super fresh fish or ingredients. Two sushi bars on each side and 30 or so table which fill up fast. They always seem to have a line out front which means it's a great spot.
Be the first to ReplyFun atmosphere and great food.
Staff was very friendly and attentive. Also when you have a birthday it's celebrated throughout the restaurant. Will definitely go back again.

Today wasn't a good day they've had better days the rolls were falling apart since it was late in the day the fish tasted a little weird California California hand roll was disgusting crab meat was nasty and super chewy

The sushi was delicious and the quality was great, however we waited over 1.5 hour to be seated.
Be the first to ReplySushi is good, our usual Sushi spot.
Only reason I can't give this place 5 stars is some of the workers. There's this bigger guy, I assume he's the manager. He's rude, acts like the food police walking around makes you feel a bit uncomfortable. Heard him talk to his employees in a rude demeanor. Like relax guy, no need to act like that.

PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE! I had previously written a review and now I cannot find it. A few months ago I witnessed something absolutely horrific. I was using the restroom and after I sat down I saw a note that said the toilet does not flush and to put the used toilet paper in the trash can. When I looked in the open trash can that was less than a foot away there was toilet paper with feces on it - a lot of human waste. I literally became sick. When I talked to the staff about my concerns I was told "well, there is nothing we can do because the toilet is broken." I suggested they close the restroom and have everyone use the men's room. The staff then just stared at me. As I walked away he laughed. This is a heath violation! I will never go back ever again!
Be the first to ReplyThis is probably the best AYCE place around.
The food the service the ambiance is amazing. Definitely recommend for a casual lunch or a celebration. The AYCE is a little pricey but if you come hungry in a small group it's worth it. I gave 4 stars because the restroom situation is pretty bad definitely needs to be maintained. Other than that our favorite place when we have an appetite.

How have I lived so close to this restaurant and never thought to come here... until recently, when I was satisfying my postpartum craving for sashimi, I've been twice in a month span. And boy did I eat a lot. I would only come for the AYCE menu because unless you are daintier than me and can only eat one roll, you might as well pay the flat fee and order whatever the heck you want. The nigiri is great; they really understand the customer because the cut of fish is draped atop this itty bitty rice ball. The rolls are quite generous and sometimes I wish it would only come with 4 pieces just so I could try more on the menu. Service has been excellent the two times I've been, and definitely utilize the Yelp waitlist if you're planning to go.
Be the first to ReplyBest sushi in the SGV.
... I recommend the mountain roll too bomb. And good and take out is fast. Never disappoints
Be the first to ReplyYa'll they know what they're doing at this restaurant.
I feel like the people that run this restaurant knows what customers want. Get them seated, get their menus, drinks and let them order their food. The service was quick, fast, and pretty decent for a busy AYCE place. Highly recommend getting here early as well as out your name on their YELP waitlist before you come!!!! Game changer! The food was good! We got the premium option to be able to get the carpaccio for only 4 bucks more. Second time I've been here and every time it's been a hit! Inserts fire emoji** Will definitely be back. Come check it out yall!

Fish is really fresh tasting ! Salmon melts like butter in your mouth! Perfect for big groups

We selected entrees from the menu, not all you can eat, found the food tasty, plentiful, the lowest price by about 40% for similar items found at nearby sushi restaurants. The downside is the place sounds like a race track, very noisy, so if you want ambience over price , go to Sushiya or Little Tokyo, which are close by. Money is not an issue to us, but unlike my wife, I still like to save a buck when I can. In our case we saved about $30 for two meals compared to the restaurants mentioned above. Not a lot, but it's in my pocket. We found the other two Sushi restaurants add a few more items to their menu than Sho Sushi, so there may lie the reason for higher prices. We frequent all three restaurants, the two mentioned when we want quiet, nice ambience, Sho Sushi when I persuade the wife to save $30. Enough rambling.
Be the first to ReplySo remember the soup nazi? Similar intro to the restaurant.
The "host" was downright rude, in no way welcoming. We had 10 out of a party of eleven but he insisted he had to count everyone. No 11 no table. If the guy worked for me, he wouldn't. The bright side was the waiter, he did an incredible job of keeping up with everyone s needs. He alone is why this wasn't a one star. I understand they specialize in sashimi and sushi rolls. However one person ordered a teriyaki beef and tempura. And another the sesame chicken and mixed tempura. The tempura was limp and warm at best So if anyone in your party is not a sashimi fan. Avoid this place. However the sashimi people do enjoy their meals And yes the front man horrible. I used to be a bouncer at a biker bar and I treated people with way more respect
Be the first to ReplyMy Favorite sushi spot by far in all sgv.
Good service good food I come here at least once a month . A+
Be the first to ReplyBy far my favorite sushi place.
This place will always have a long wait so be prepared for that. The food is delicious and the service is quick. This place is totally worth the wait. Favorite all you can eat sushi. Go hungry but expect a wait it is popular. Because it is very good.
Be the first to ReplyOne of the best sushi places I've ever been.
Service and food are amazing too though the price were a little bit high so you better be hungry
Be the first to ReplyThe sushi was very flavorful and fresh.
I ended up getting the all you can eat which cost around 38 bucks and it was well worth it because this does include sashimi. I loved everything I ordered (Fresh rolls, sashimi, and gyozas). The ambiance had a fun party vibe and a couple tables were celebrating birthdays. This place is always pretty packed but you can always reserve a table on yelp prior to arriving! Great service, fresh fish, and prices are affordable. I'll definitely be back!

Service has become awful and if you're doing all you can eat you better hope they remember all your items. On multiple occasions did we have to remind them of food we still needed to be brought and at one point we waited an hour for it despite having moved on. The food is good but not enough o excuse the lousy service and rude people who are not attentive to the customers.
