I don't usually write reviews but the SLS RESIDENCES is absolute WORST building i have ever lived in through out my ENTIRE LIFE. Cars get STOLEN out of the lot almost every other month including my car. The security guards witnessed my car getting stolen and notified me 14 HOURS LATER. This was definitely an inside job everything about this was shady . Not even the management cared their response was " we have nothing to do with that" . EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. This building does NOT provide safety to the residences. Elevators take about 15-20+ to arrive to the floor it's is a joke here. The building is so party party party if you have kids this is not an appropriate building. If you're an artist , high paid individual or even have a family and looking for luxury & safety your better off saving your money and looking somewhere else.
Be the first to ReplyReally nice hotel to come with a partner.
The ambience was very sensual. Hotel was very clean and it had some interesting items in the minibar. In my room, there was a mirror on the ceiling, which was quite comical. The room and bathroom was very spacious for a Brickell hotel. The views were great. It was pricey, but in a great location.

Great place for some much needed relaxation- decided To get the resort day pass and spend the day at the SLS with a group of my girl friends. The weather and view of Brickell was very nice. The resort day pass included a poolside cabana and a $750 credit for food and drinks. Our server Jessy was phenomenal. The food was good though the portions were small. The drinks were pureee alcohol and very tough to drink. We got the watermelon margarita and the mojito pitchers and we ended up sticking to the margarita due to the mojito being way to much. The DJ was playing music very low and was not mixing the songs well but we took our own speaker so we were good - besides that is was a very good day and we will definitely be doing it again soon.

Spent 4 days here for a wedding tipped accordingly and left. The staff was friendly, the room was nice, but the decor is a little off. Why the 1 star? A little about myself I get sick, sick if I drink champagne. So even at the wedding I did not drink champagne. After we check out, we get a room charge for champagne. My wife refutes it. They go back and forth about a $60 dollar cheap champagne. Mind you I tipped over $100 dollars at their hotel for their staff, spent over $1500, for the stay. They insinuated we stole the champagne, but reminds us, as a courtesy we will be refunding our money. I don't want to be petty, but this leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I was thinking of coming back,.
Be the first to Replywas here for Miami Music week.
elevators took forever so tried to use the stairs and found the dirty (I hope) sheets sitting in a pile in the elevator landing. cannot get over the fact I was sleeping on sheets that were on such a dirty, disgusting floor. I asked friends who lived in the residences and they said they do the sheets on the floor of the parking garage too!! EW!!! they consider this hotel a 4 star hotel, I can't understand how this is acceptable for even a 1 star hotel

Place was really nice! The hotel is chic; a nice lounge upstairs; I'm not sure if it was Latin night but they played Latin music; the drinks were on point. I had an old fashion and it was made perfect. The lounge has a balcony as well. There is a restaurant in the lobby; I did not eat there but it was packed so I assume the food was good. Also the lounge is 21 years and over with a security. The pool had music and a bar to order food. The atmosphere is so nice; I can't wait to return, I live in miami so is rad a staycation for me.The bedroom was nice and the bar in the room was loaded; fit the bar is full of their drinks so to can't put your left overs in there: Bed was comfortable; mirrors on the ceiling; the balcony was as facing brickell so i had a great view. I could also see the bars from my balcony. We took the free metro mover to bayside and that was fun to.. Make sure you are at brickell SLS and not the LUXThe lux is in the heart and next to brickell centre. I wanted that hotel but after booking the SLS brickell it was worth it and the price was a big difference, we walked 3 -5 minutes to get to the hype.

This review is strictly for the pool:You have the option to buy a $50 day pass for rooftop pool access. Or you can also rent out a cabana for up to 8 people and it comes with a credit due consumption. Our party had more than 8 guests so some got the day pass. They are really casual for the amount of people that hang out and enjoying the cabana! The food menu was yummy! We had the pizza with chicken & onions and chicken wings! Both were priced a fair amount (under $20 each) & there's many cocktails to choose from also priced under $20 each! The colors are vibrant and there was a DJ playing music. However, the vibe was not crazy at all. We actually brought our own small speaker and there were lots of families, babies or individuals reading & hanging out.. Our waitress was soooooo nice and very organized with our large party orders. Her and the manager even went out if their way to find us a lighter for birthday candles we needed. The DJ also played a birthday song as we sang.Over all the experience was fabulous and the view was killer!

I did not stay here but had a drink at the bar in their restaurant. Anyway, the hotel is very clean, modern and chic. The reception area is very open and the hostess was sweet.Upstairs is sort of dark even in the middle of the day. I was here on a Thursday afternoon and it felt very quiet. I am not sure if there are other areas open to the public.I parked on the street because I don't like to valet my SUV anywhere. This is a nice hotel in a quieter part of Brickell.
Be the first to ReplyThis would have been a 5 star review.
It just goes to show that one small incident can create a bad impression. The hotel used to be owned by Sam Nazarian's group, but was sold to a big company. It is boutique city hotel with virtually no ocean views but a nice vibe similar to W and Mondrian. In my view it is more cool. The suites are nice and have funky features such as mirrors over the bed, funky carpets. There is some strange stuff : no room service or turn down service after 5 pm. The issue that I had was that apparently the manager on duty, a man by the name of Casado, had the personality of an IRS agent. It alway boggles me why people with atrocious personalities end up in hospitality. It's a mystery. He was polite but was reading from a rigid, cold script. Unyielding and awkward, he had no ability to make a joke or de-escalate. I would suggest that a small issue can become upsetting to guests when they encounter an obtuse robot. Sadly, many Zombies get promoted just because they show up and don't get in trouble. Not taking any risks is often rewarded. I don't think I will stay here again. It's a shame.
Be the first to ReplyVery nice hotel in a great location.
There's plenty of stores within walking distance of SLS. The service is great and there's plenty of amenities in the hotel. I would have given this hotel 5 stars if the restaurant had better food options.

My bestie and I always take advantage of spa month deals so this year we decided on the Ciel spa deal. We got to the hotel early to enjoy the facilities as you get access with the spa treatments. We started at the gym- which is very large (3 rooms) and fully equipped with all the equipment you need for a great workout. After working out we went to the sauna which was clean and relaxing. Pool time was next! A beautiful pool, surrounded by the high rises downtown. We were able to order food and drinks at the bar and then jump in the pool. It is a very large pool that has lots of seating around. Lunch was from the restaurant below and was very good. We had the eggplant parmigiana sandwich and a spicy sopressetta pizza. Both were very good. I didn't want to leave but the spa was calling my name lol. I really enjoyed the hotel facilities and I am already planning my next trip back!
Be the first to ReplyThis property is beautiful.
Very luxurious and unique. If you're looking for a sensual, fun, and chic vibe, you'll love this hotel!! The location is very convenient and the car service is so helpful if you're not trying to walk around Brickell. Our driver, Edwin, was very kind and helpful. The rooms are spacious and the balcony view is just amazing. I loved the balcony furniture it was a perfect space to chill and admire the views of the city. The Ciel Spa was beautiful and Adán was very kind and helpful! The pool area is a nice size and not too crowded like most pools are in Miami. The poolside menu was amazing, there were a lot of yummy options. We had brunch at Fi'lia where they had bottomless mimosas (yum) and I tried the wood fire pizza which was delicious. My friend had the eggs Benedict which was perfectly cooked. We spent the night at The Lounge, conveniently located right in the lobby. I had a fun time. The space was not too big, which I appreciated. I'm not one to like crowded places so I really liked the size of this lounge. The drinks were amazing. The bartenders were very friendly and patient. One thing I really loved is how safe I felt here. There were security walking around making sure everything was ok. The VIP area is a nice outside lounge which I thought was very cool. The music was a variety of genres and there were plenty of people dancing. Overall, I highly recommend staying here! I truly enjoyed my weekend getaway, I'll definitely be back!

I used to go to the bar all the time but I stopped because of the price gouging. I get the 20% gratuity at a restaurant where service is being given. But when I walk in and spend $80 on 4 drinks and the bartender charges me $18 for a 30 second pour that im also paying taxes on is ridiculous. It's 30 seconds he didn't give me anything special. The biggest turn off to automatically add it. Never go again, I guess they focus on the tourist and a reason why this place is dying out now. I don't mind a 20% tip at restaurants or bottle service but for a quick drink that's just dumb. 1 drink $18 + $2.00 taxes + $4.5 in a tip for a 10 second pour .. 100% don't keep a tab open

Points for strangely fancy decor that screams gay Florida, but the noise from other people on my floor and passers by out on the street kept me up all night and there seemed to be no buffer between my room and the hallway, nor the outside streets. Oh, and there are life-sized picture of people on the walls of the elevators which is horribly disconcerting until you get used to it.
Be the first to ReplySo I accidentally booked the wrong SLS, because I didn't
So I accidentally booked the wrong SLS, because I didn't realize there was three in Miami. This was the worst SLS to book. The one good thing I have to say about it, it's better looking than the pictures and the room has a cool mirror on the ceiling. So for the cons, I paid $700 for one night. The costumer service was not good. I had been trying to get a reservation for the lounge of the hotel for a whole week (calling and emailing multiple people). Finally the manager emails me back the day of @ 2pm and says I have to purchase $2k worth of bottles just to have 15 guests come for cocktail hour (we didn't want a table, it was for a quick drink and to leave). Also we went to the lounge just w 5 people before meeting up w the group and the chair that i sat on broke. To follow that up, the brunch was pretty good, but no discounts for guests staying at the hotel. I asked them to do a little something for my fiancé in the room for his birthday and they didn't do it until hours after we checked in. The valet is also not included and is $50 per day. The pool is also mediocre. Will definitely be spending my money else where next time.
