Truly an exceptional and splendid dining experience! It's so refreshing as someone who has decision fatigue to show up to the restaurant and be fed food that activates all the fun parts of my brain. Their beverage selection is small but well-curated and matches perfectly with the food. They offer sake, white wine, beer, and a few non-alcoholic options. I loved the directions provided for how to eat certain courses; there's a method to the madness. You can taste the love and experience in the food which just makes it that much more enjoyable. Service was spot on and the atmosphere looked sophisticated but felt very relaxing. Will definitely come back for another special occasion. Some logistics info: there is a parking garage in the Star Metals building. Just follow the signs; the visitor entrance is kind of tucked away. There's also a video on their website showing you what it looks like to find the lot from the street. The restaurant will validate parking so make sure to bring your parking ticket with you to dinner. No bathrooms inside the actual restaurant so make sure you go to the bathrooms across the hallway beforehand to avoid interruptions to your dining experience. Oh and there are bag hooks under the counter at your seat; love this little practical detail!
Yes it's expensive.
But it's an extremely memorable dining experience. The chef is very personable. To me, the most deserving of all Michelin star restaurants in Atlanta. Some unbelievably delicious sushi dishes. If you do not like Sushi it is not for you. Ambience is top notch. Hope to return again.

The chef and wait staff were so incredibly rude and condescending. I would have gladly left before we ate the meal but felt like a hostage because our hosts had already pre-paid, as is required to make a reservation. No food is worth that experience.
First of all, the service is excellent.
We were there on a cold night in Atlanta and they checked our coats right when we were seated. The service is elaborate for a sushi restaurant and reminded me of e by Jose Andres in Vegas. My only minor complaint are the rules/strong guidance related to how to eat some of the dishes. With regard to the food, let me start by saying that I do not have a fine palate for high-end sushi. I have eaten at Nobu (Buckhead), Sushi Yoshida (NYC), and Morimoto (multiple locations) but that's about it for high-end sushi. In Atlanta, I like Fudo the best. So, with that being said, I found the sushi rice to be too soft. The fish was all impeccably fresh and meticulously prepared and seasoned. The shari was just not to my liking. Regarding the other food, my Japanese-American mother used the term "Japanese taste" to describe some Japanese food. Growing up, I mostly had food cooked by Japanese-American women, most of whose parents had immigrated from Hiroshima or Fukuoka. The Japanese-American food I ate growing up had also been adapted to ingredients available in the US at that time (70s and 80s) and to US tastes. To me, "Japanese-taste" is heavy umami, katsuobushi, and seafood like clam. Curiously, not all modern Japanese food in Japan has this "Japanese-taste. To me, Haya-San's cooked food is heavy on the "Japanese-taste." This was most evident in the suimono that Haya-San calls sumashi (light soup) and the udon. Our favorite dish was probably the buri. Haya-San had expertly seasoned it with yuzu, yuzu-kosho, and garnished with sea grapes. Of the sushi, I liked the hotate best. Haya-San sauces with (I think shoyu/butter) and torches it. I suspect the sauce is more than soy/butter but that's the best I can do to describe. Superb dishes. Arigato gozaimasu Haya-San

I've eaten here three times- once at the old location and twice at the current location. My most recent visit was after Haya San won the Michelin Star. I won't go too much into detail, since the menu changes quite often, other than to say you will be happy and full by the end of your visit. The food is impeccable and the two hour experience flies by as he effortlessly prepares one beautifully delectable dish after another all while sparking conversation with you with his jovial demeanor. I cannot recommend this place enough. Perhaps my favorite dining experience ever.
Well all other sushi is now ruined for us.
The evening was a wonderful, intimate as well educational dining experience. We felt as if we were tasting sushi for the very first time. Each dish was unique with perfectly balanced flavors. The staff was amazing. We did not want for anything. Arigato, Chef Hayasan, for making our 30th anniversary dinner so memorable!

The chef, Haya-san, makes it a very personal experience, and I love that about the time spent with the chef. I'm from Japan and grew up having high-end sushi, kaiseki, and ryokan dishes, being able to expect the level of freshness and craft from this place gives me a sense of home. My husband just held a private birthday party here for me, and my gourmet friends from DC, NYC, and LA were very impressed. The flavors are sophisticated -- reminds me of some Kyoto style, some Edo style, and of course some Hokkaido style.

If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered? |
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.

Anyone can help with payouts, support hasn’t been helpful at all. My funds cleared and I can only retrieve $50 usd a day with a $5 fee and a % per transaction. It would take so long and so much in fees. Thanks!

This got somehow approved by AT, and a customer bought this from me for 6pm. I want to cancel this listing and refund customer , but there is no way of doing this ! Banned from Resy for selling reservations- Do we have a rat on our hands???
I am new to this app and started off by selling a polo bar reservation and then quickly sold one more reservation. Not long after I received emails from Resy saying all my reservations are cancelled and I am being banned from Resy for life. How could this have possibly happened without a rat telling Resy that I sold the reservation. I need some advice on this situation and let’s catch the rat!

You can only deposit $50 at a time until you earn the “Sales and Low Refund Medal” I believe. Im new to this as well but the ability to deposit more money at once and increase your amount of listings comes with that medal.
