Lovely meal
A lovely Turkish meal. Excellent service from staff who were attentive and friendly. Reasonably priced.

nice to back here after numerous visits over the years often for PhD celebrations held at nearby KCL. Place hasnโt changed a great deal and food still has that homemade taste. We opted for the 2 course menu with some nice Turkish wine. Chicken and meatball stews followed a very smooth houmus and tabouleh. We struggled to finish and I sadly left a meatball while my partner made very little dent in her chicken though still sated. Attentive and friendly service

Freshly cooked Anatolian dishes served by attentive personnel. I have enjoyed with crispy courgette fritters followed by well-done steak. For dessert I have tried the best baklava ever along with traditional Turkish tea. Strongly recommended!

Yesterday we've visited this restaurant at peak time before theatre. we've been served by a very friendly waiter. Food was good and we had best baklava ever.
Be the first to ReplyDisappointing, will not return. PS was my 5th visit
Disappointing, Iโm sorry to say from walking in to leaving the whole experience was well below average, zero customer service, ambiance poor and food average at best. We booked TAS as we were visiting for weekend and as per my previous posts about TAS, we were looking forward to our visit sadly the reality was below our expectations. We were told couldn't sit outside as they stop serving food outside at 9 so we would have to move back inside (it was 8.30) at that point I should have left, we sat inside, ordered flat beer from staff ( think he was a manager) and food, an order he couldn't have been more disengaged with, food was luke warm, bland and slow. Downstairs seating area had full black bin liners staked against the chairs, and without going on and on Iโll stop not wishing to critique a restaurant that obviously needs TLC and staff that need a kick-up the rear end, how do I know that? A manager attended site whilst we ate walked around with the manager all staff looked busy and kitchen staff put their hats on, he even told a member of staff to net his beard, he left, they removed the hats and all reverted to doing their own thing..nothing. ยฃ77 wasted.
Be the first to ReplyNot very good
This is not somewhere id recommend and was generally disappointing. Fairly spacious, but the interior seemed a bit dated and leaning towards the tacky side of not that classy. Initially, it gave the impression of an ok atmosphere which soon gave way to the annoying wobbly table.
Poor Starters, Meze, Dolma vine leaves probably from the tin and the rice was a little hard. The artichoke tasted bland. Hummous was way too heavy on the Tahini. The entrees generally lacked the punch of spices and tastiness that these dishes could deliver. The staff were nice and friendly, although one of the waiters was about to remove my plate prematurely.
The main course I chose was a mixed grill which was an uninspiring disaster. Dry meat, not brilliantly presented. This place needs to pull its kebab meat socks up, at this moment it failed to push the buttons.
Very lively restaurant
We visited on a very busy Friday evening but were given a table straightaway. A very lively place (in other words quite loud) with nice food. Friendly waiters. My dish was fairly cold so I sent it back and received one that was only slightly warmer but I could not be bothered to complain again as we had waited a long time for the 1st dish and were hungry. They were decent enough to offer a discount on the bill in view of the long wait.

We enjoyed this meal during our stay in London the service was good and food especially nice and well cooked prices average for London great choice on the menu
Be the first to ReplyExcellent food - shame about the toilets
I always think the toilets give the place a bad name if they are in bad shape. There was one toilet out of order, and in the other toilet, there was no loo paper. The basin was beautiful - a tiled Turkish basin!
The food however, was excellent. The service quick and we had a very helpful waiter and waitress.
It wasn't cheap but this was a treat as I had not seen my friend for 3 years because of the pandemic.
Meal
Meal was ok as it was smaller meal what I ate in green lane, Harringay and other place in east London. I love turkey food as the lamb mince grilled was smaller. The couscous was nice. The bread was nice not not original with the dip and no salad include it. Falafel was smaller pieces. I wouldnโt come again because they donโt serve lahmcaun so gutted.
