Thai Sushi by KJ Naples Reviews from The Last Year
Special server elevated the night
We have been to Marco four or five years, this is our first time to Thai Sushi. What can I say, funky location, dive interior, great sushi, and one very special server-Lexi. Lexi made our night; attentive, well informed, driven by her appreciation for Japanese-Asian food. Without her, good experience, with her outstanding. Many have said good food, I concur. Service made special by one-Lexi GO!
Outstanding. Sushi is Phenomenal
Sushi quality and taste was phenomenal. Wanted mochi for dessert but server said they don't have it yet. Went around 8:30 and it was still super busy, yet they were able to find us a table and get us in and out within 45 minutes to an hour total. Would definitely go back!
We had a group of ten people.
Every single dish was amazing. I literally haven't stopped thinking about the Marco Island Roll for three days. Our group had the drunken noodles and pad Thai as well. They said it was some of the best Thai they've ever had. The only photo I managed to take was of the avocado salad, but every dish had an amazing presentation.
Beautiful tasty food with fresh ingredients.
I thought the Tom Kha soup was outstanding. The Marco Roll was good, but I probably should have looked at the prices because it was 20 bucks and there or lots of cheaper options that I missed. Since I was there for happy hour, I should have looked at that roll menu (my bad). They were very accommodating and made drunken noodles with sea bass for my mom and she loved it. Next time I will ask to make my food spicy - as a California & Thai food afficiando, there was no heat to any of the items we ordered. Again, my bad - being in Florida I should have known that everything would have been white people spicy. (No spice) The flavors were so fresh, I really didn't mind though. I would absolutely go back again.
Another season of fantastic Happy Hours in Naples.
Always satisfied by Thai Sushi by KJ. See attached menu photos for the happy hour deets. They're hard to find on Yelp or to google. KJ's Happy Hour rolls are sized down from the regular menu, but one app, a wakame salad, 2 rolls and drinks is plenty of good for 2 people. I'll let you do the math from the menu. Downside- Prosecco splits and unagi rolls have been removed from HH. Very happy with the fresh Yellow Dragon. Meh on the spicy tuna roll (very finely chopped). We prefer the tuna avocado. Service was a bit confusing this week- many overlapping servers. Location of the patio along the sidewalk is out of the busy fray but still great sunset and people watching. One of the Naples HH's that we visit multiple times a season
Great sushi
We love the sushi here. The seaweed salad is really nicely done with a great base of rice vinegar cucumbers, the shrimp tempura roll is large and done simply, the tuna and salmon nigiri perfect. We also love the miso soup there but that’s a matter of taste for many. This is a regular spot for us though we get to walk since we stay at the Seaview Court Towers.

Sushi Lover! This was the best Marco Island roll, lobster roll, krunchy krab roll and shrimp. Relaxing atmosphere with no rush. Enjoy the experience!
Quality food and gourmet presentation with edible flowers.
The Panang Curry with chicken is absolutely fabulous. Their Miso soup is similarly outstanding. The Pad Thai was not a familiar recipe, so I did not enjoy it as much. Their crab ragoon was the best I've ever eaten. We look forward to returning soon to try more of their offerings.

In a town full of [really great] Italian food, we needed a little break. Thai Sushi was perfect. We came in at 6 pm without a reservation and were sat quickly on the other side of the restaurant. I didn't mind because it seemed a little more relaxed. Thai Sushi is eclecticly decorated with lots of gold mirrors, gold decor, and plants. I wish I had snapped a photo. Service was good; although, I'm not really sure who our server was - maybe it was a team effort. It worked out fine. Everyone was friendly and efficient. We started with the spicy garlic edamame (yum) and the spicy beef (delicious). It reminded my husband of a mint beef salad (without the mint, but otherwise really close), and he loved it. Thick cuts of steak too, juicy and tender. Not thin and overdone like you get at other places. I ordered the garlic shrimp, which was delicious. I'm a big fan of shrimp, fresh veggies, topped with fried garlic/shallots any day - but this really hit the spot. Loved it. My husband got the lobster tail roll special*. It's important to note that the lobster tail roll is a half lobster tail and only the roll. The special* came with the roll and two martini glasses with fresh cucumber, crab salad, and more tempura lobster bits. The price differential for what he got wasn't bad, and we figure it's probably so the restaurant doesn't waste half a lobster tail. We both liked it, but more so than him. If you really like tempura, then I think you'll enjoy this.
Food was OK, not remarkable.
The wait staff were all at the sushi bar chatting and ignored us. Until we complained that we were waiting too long for our order to be taken. Rather than getting an apology we got a surly defence. We never saw the server again but the manager did check on us a couple of times.
Fantastic food.
Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. Just the right atmosphere and vibe. I'm still going with 5 stars even though we waited a really long time for our check while our server wolfed down his dinner at the bar. We need led up getting the check from someone else . The kitchen here is absolutely killing it.
Always Superb
Everytime we visit or order out the food is fantastic. Their fried rice and sushi meals are excellent and we will continue to visit Thai Thai

We came here last year for Christmas Eve dinner and loved it so much that we came back. We made reservations for Christmas Eve dinner this time with relatives. We sat in the restaurant side of the establishment and had a large booth in the corner for the six of us. Both the server and the host were kind and made sure that we were taken care of during the duration of the visit. We tried the pork fried rice, vegetable fried rice, massaman curry, red curry, miso soup, and ginger salad. All of the above were fabulous and fresh. My family were such big fans that they went back for dinner a few nights later ha! I look forward to the next time that I can visit again so that I can order the sushi!

The bar tenders made amazing drinks while telling very fun stories! - **Must-Try:** Mango Sticky Rice Sushi - a unique and delicious twist. - **Verdict:** A must-visit for anyone in Marco Island looking for quality cuisine. Will definitely return! -The staff also helped to celebrate my birthday which was such a fun experience. If you are on the island and turning 32, I highly recommend this place for all your celebration needs!
Not great sushi
We may be spoiled by living near so many amazing sushi restaurants because this was not it. Friendly staff but not great sushi at all. We ordered a platter for the family. We also ordered a side of pad Thai and Pad See Ew, and it was terrible. Also very expensive. I don't mind paying for good food but this was not it.
GREAT FOOD
We picked this place and went early and we were not disappointed. The Thai food was great (authentic) and the sushi was the best I have had in years
Best Sushi in Town
Best Sushi in Marco Island and Naples! Service or take-out is fairly quick and easy. I cannot rank this high enough if you are looking for Thai or Sushi.
Best Sushi on Marco
Best sushi in the area. Staff always friendly and attentive even when it’s busy. Frequented by locals proving is consistently good.
Hidden Gem and Very Good!
The family enjoyed massive mounts of Sushi, and I had the twin lobster tail tempura which was excellent, very good service even though crowed. The overflow was whisked off to an adjacent room which was cool, and given the heat outside much appreciated. And that did not stop both speedy delivery of food and drinks!

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Can come from a lot of places, people who don't want to get charged their cancellation fee or people who just have them and cant go.

almost all restaurants aren't affiliated with AT and I'm guessing it's mostly people wanting to not pay cancellation fees.
