Had a nice time right up until I got food poisoning from the branzino. Avoid this restaurant at all costs.

Chicken Waffles was extremely mid, tasted like chicken nuggets. Waffles were okay. Overall, way too expensive for bad food
Be the first to ReplyWe walked by this restaurant 3 times before we found it.
8pm reservation on a Friday. 4 of us. Burgers and fries, and wine. cute, Intimate. Good food. I would come back if in the area.
Be the first to ReplyThe restaurant is small.
we were first seated at bar seating up against a wall- ver uncomfortable. They accommodated our request to move to a table, though. The volume of the restaurant made it difficult for the waiter to hear us, resulting in mistakes in the order. The best part was the soup, which we enjoyed. The entrees were good, but unremarkable. The cocktail was undrinkable. I would not recommend to a friend.
Be the first to ReplyThis is my favorite breakfast spot in the city.
It's not very large, but I was able to get a seat each time I came. The smoothies are yummy, and the breakfast and drink options are varied and tasty. I go here every time I'm in the city.

Nice , attentive wait staff. had a delicious burger and fries for dinner . Also the cocktails were good and not too sweet like so many other places

Perfect stop for a rainy night following a play at the new stage theatre. Happy we made reservations since it's quite a small space . loved the cool vibe , did not love the feel of being rushed . We hadn't finished with appetizer when the came out with entrees . When we request they take them back they graciously did . I also felt the eyes of the buser on our table , waiting to swoop in and remove our unfinished appetizer . That being said the food was delicious ! Perhaps it works well before a play? I'm not even sure if they were rushing everybody or just us . We had the most delicious spinach artichoke dip ! creamy and chunky . This was served with crispy Rosemary crostini . The chicken tuscan pasta was served perfectly aldente with a nice creamy sauce. I'm going to end with i don't like being rushed.

My daughter and I have a scrumptious meal there last night: filet mignon, which we shared, and brussels sprouts. Delicious!! The place is cozy and inviting. Noisy, but all my favorite restaurants are, and it would be real shame to cover the lovely old ceiling.

Came here for brunch with my daughter and we really enjoyed it. Salads and eggs all fresh, really good coffee in a small space with a very nice, neighborhood atmosphere. Staff were also friendly and efficient.

Came here about a month ago from a recommendation from a friend who had been recently. My friends and I checked it out before a show Saturday, managed to squeeze in. And oh are we glad we did. The food was SPECTACULAR. The Mac & Cheese balls are a huge hit. Drinks were also delicately crafted and well balanced. It was so good I cam back the next morning, had a martini and an espresso before a second show. Mia (who might I add is fantastic) was my bartender and she made a delightfully smooth martini, and a delicately crafted doppio espresso. I have been raving about this place to all my friends who are going to NY, so I apologize in advance if y'all get too busy in the next few months with tourists from the PNW. But I know the next time I am in NY I will be there in a heartbeat.
Be the first to ReplyTiny table for six with a reservation.
Deviled eggs are not deviled eggs - they are hard-boiled eggs with toppings. Very loud. Friend's burger over cooked. Very expensive. Lots of better places in the area.
Be the first to ReplyThe hostess was so rude.
Everyone else was great, but the girl at the front with the nose ring was one of the trashiest people i have met.

I would highly recommended this place they have the best service n the food n drinks are amazing I love everything about this place . Very small place but cozy.
Be the first to Replyfirst of all, this restaurant is the size of my dorm.
there's very very little room to move. i waited 20 mins to be seated and then we got seated at a communal table. we were not warned or told about this. we were squished between two other parties, super awkward we almost left but the server got to us before we could leave and we felt bad. our server was super nice and the food came out in a normal amount of time. food was okay. nothing special or amazing. the truffle fries sucked. not worth the wait and having to share a table.
Be the first to ReplyFood was excellent and the atmosphere was superb.
The only down side was how tight the tables are. If it wasn't for sitting almost on top of each other this place would have five stars. Service was excellent as well. Only thing that could be improved upon is the space for the diners.
Be the first to ReplyDefinitely recommend this place.
I'd come a little early if you don't have a reservation. A really good brunch spot if you're in the area Pumpkin stuffed French toast 4.5/5Really delicious and unique. It wasn't overly sweet and didn't really need syrup. I think my only wish would be that it was a larger serving because of how delicious it was

This is a very interesting little hidden gem right on the outskirts of the Theater District/Hell's Kitchen, steps from the 50th street C/E in the beautiful World Wide Plaza (pinkish stone complex)Reservations are a MUST as this is a busy restaurant and pretty small..not like some of the tiny Thai places nearby, but for a bustling full service space, it's "cozy". You will be sitting knee to knee with the person next to you, in this den like space.Menu is varied and has something for everyone. There are not that many great traditional restaurants in this area, but this is one of them.

We were taking my 12 year old grandson to a show and dinner. (He chose Blue Dog from a list of select restaurants). We were all impressed! The service people were courteous and made excellent suggestions. Food was prepared very well. We ordered a variety of types of food and each one was delicious!Blue Dog had a nice vibe and a pleasing atmosphere. On a very cold evening, it was a truly nice establishment to visit. We will definitely return!
Be the first to ReplyGreat place! Food is tasty and the service is good.
We sat out in the back, loved the vibe.
Be the first to ReplyWe had an amazing time at The Blue Dog.
The 20 minute was more than worth it the very second we took our first drink! I would've waited twice. Mia was a breathe of fresh air with a vast knowledge of cocktails and the menu. Very willing to chat and answer questions. Her drinks were consistent! The espresso martini she made us tasted the same both times and was one of the best I've ever had. The food was absolutely well above my expectations and I wasn't sad about a single dollar I spent. Definitely check it out. Thanks for the good time!
Be the first to ReplySorry but the food was not very good.
The double panko breaded burger meat was surprisingly tasteless even with all the toppings and sauces. Fries were nothing to write home about. Meh!
Be the first to ReplyNice neighborhood restaurant near the theatre district.
Cozy surroundings, attentive wait staff and very generous proportions. Burgers sand fries were great.

My friends and I arrived for brunch on a Thursday, with no reservation and we were promptly seated. Eggs Benedict was great and peach Bellini was just right.
