The Butcher's Daughter Brooklyn Reviews from The Last Year
We recently had our gender reveal party here, and it was
We recently had our gender reveal party here, and it was the perfect time. We had a separate space in the "market" and it was very cute and aesthetically pleasing. Austyn, the manager there, along with the head pastry chef, and front and back of the house made our experience very special. Good service is hard to come by these days, so I wanted to take the time to acknowledge the great brunch we had and how well-taken care of we were. I even caught the pastry chef watching from afar to make sure our cake cutting went smoothly and we had all we needed, never saying a word, allowing us to have our special moment without intruding, was so cute. Our server was also so kind, accommodating, patient, and made sure we had a good experience. She checked on us when the food came and made sure to quickly bring us any sauces, drinks we needed to have a nice meal. And the food was literally all delicious and beautiful. I look forward to having more good times here, both for big and small occasions.
Love this location! The service is always super friendly.
The interior is decorated well and kept clean. Went in for lunch on a Thursday and were able to be seated right away. We shared the water flower and honey bee juices. The water flower was so refreshing and the honey bee is a little tarte, but good! I just wouldn't recommend the latter if you want something sweeter. To eat we split the watermelon salad, garden cous cous, and Mykonos breakfast. It was the perfect amount of food for 2 people. All of it was delicious. The price is what you would expect at a nicer brunch establishment. My only note is I was trying to get some work done here and it was rather loud because they had the windows open but that's my fault for trying to work through lunch!
Wow this is getting 2 stars because the service was good
Wow this is getting 2 stars because the service was good but I am shocked. I always order take away from other locations but in Williamsburg i was literally robbed of $18 with the kale salad here. The portion size was so small it was embarrassing. This wasn't a side salad either. This was for the spicy kale Cesar. I don't mind paying for food but this was embarrassing. Please do better

Service was great, food was amazing and many options for all food restrictions. Cute spot. Would definitely return whenever in NY.
Super cute, hip spot in the middle of Williamsburg.
We stopped in for a bottle of orange wine, Agent Orange, which was delicious. The menu is full of really exciting, healthy looking drinks. Green juices, ginger shots, echinacea tinctures and more. One of the best parts of the restaurant is the location. Located on a super busy corner, it's perfect for people watching and watching the day go by.
My friends and I recently visited for brunch and while we
My friends and I recently visited for brunch and while we initially enjoyed the lively ambiance and delicious food, our experience was unfortunately marred by the poor service provided by our waitress, Danielle W. From the outset, we encountered issues with the service that significantly detracted from our dining experience. Despite the fact that two of our friends were running late, Danielle rushed us to place our orders, creating an uncomfortable situation where we felt pressured to decide hastily. This lack of professionalism persisted throughout our meal, as we received no apology or acknowledgment for the incorrect item that one of our party received, nor for the fact that my glass for an espresso martini arrived broken. Throughout the meal, there was a notable absence of attentiveness from the staff, as no one checked if everything was satisfactory or if we required any assistance, not even refilling our water glasses. What truly soured our experience, however, was the behavior of our waitress during the payment process. When one of my friends opted not to leave a tip through the card machine, intending to provide a cash tip instead, Danielle rudely insisted that she select a tip option and even peered at her hands. Despite our reassurance that we intended to leave a cash tip, her dismissive attitude persisted, culminating in her rolling her eyes and walking away without even clearing our table. To add insult to injury, as we were preparing to leave, she saw a random $10 bill on the table. Danielle approached us with an air of entitlement, insinuating that the money was intended as a tip for her. She looked at it and she said "$10?!". After we told her that it's not for her ad we are not done yet she rolled her eyes again and walked away. Her behavior was not only disrespectful but also unwarranted, considering the subpar service we had received. It is truly disheartening to witness such a lack of customer service skills from a member of staff, particularly in an establishment that prides itself on delivering a memorable dining experience. I am deeply disappointed by this incident and concerned that the actions of one individual could tarnish the reputation of an otherwise excellent establishment. I sincerely hope that management takes appropriate action to address this issue and ensure that similar incidents do not occur in the future.
Love this place.
Yummy food as always. It gets a bit crowded but service and food is always good
Lets start off by saying this place was a disaster.
Went here for brunch with family. We waited 25 mins to get seated, which wasnt an issue..we ordered..then about an hour later the food still was not out. I went inside to ask where the food is and 2 minutes later another waiter came out with our food..how is it that as soon as I went inside the food was all of a sudden ready? More like it was sitting on the counter waiting to be picked up by the waiter. We saw our waiter 1-2x the whole time we were there. I had the country breakfast which was okay, not worth the price though. The options on the menu werent the greatest..not much of a good variety to choose from. When we left we decided not to tip due to the ridiculous wait and nobody checking on us (why should i tip when all the waiter did was take my order not even bring it or check on us) ...as soon as they realized we didnt tip after paying and getting up, the manager (or whoever she was) came running to us in 0.00001 microseconds to ask us how everything went. Absolutely ridiculous! Won't be coming here again!
Disgusting food, and the service was even worse.
Ordered the burger last night, it came out cold with a hair in it and tasted disgusting. I mentioned something to the barman and he just ignored me as I was talking. Not worth the money and the service and cleanliness of the restaurant definitely needs improvement. I was a huge fan, and excited to eat here but it has gone downhill and I won't be going back anytime soon. There are a lot of vegan places in the city that are better and probably a lot cleaner.
Food was extremely mediocre for the price.
The pad thai tasted nothing like pad thai and more like spaghetti. I also ordered green coconut curry, which was more vegetable than sauce with three small slices of pita bread. I'll probably go back to try breakfast, but I won't be trying the dinner options again.
The burrito I just received from a delivery order contained
The burrito I just received from a delivery order contained a large piece of paper wrapped inside of it. This is a health hazard and made my burrito inedible. I advise people not to order from this restaurant as their health standards and quality control seem less than acceptable.

Unfortunately, my experience at your restaurant wasn't what I hoped for. The service was poor due to long wait and disorganization. The food also fell short of expectations.
Cute interior, seems pretty popular during brunch but I
Cute interior, seems pretty popular during brunch but I didn't know it was strictly all plant based! But was willing to give it a try. I got the country breakfast, but the impossible sausage just didn't work for me and I do miss regular sausage. The broiled tomato was a bit out of place for me too but the rest of the dish was fairly fine. The margarita was pretty strong and probably what I enjoyed most. Service was a bit slow or lacking, maybe because I was a solo diner but would have appreciated more service.
Anyone rating Butchers Daughter under 4 stars is asking for
Anyone rating Butchers Daughter under 4 stars is asking for a West Side Story choreography-styled musical rumble with me. lol. Came in with all omnivores because NYers are sweet and open-minded like that! It has an adorable atmosphere with lots of natural lighting which makes it a great spot for brunch. I cried happy tears the first time I saw "steak and eggs" for a vegetarian which could be made vegan. Even if you're not veg*n, you SERIOUSLY have to try this just to experience how BD replicates the animal version! No - it is NOT a burger that you can find in the store! IT looks JUST.LIKE. animal meat! It was seasoned to perfection. Service was great! Moderately attentive.
Cold burger
I came in specifically for the veggie burger. Although it was delicious, the burger itself was cold inside. Like they grabbed it out of the walk in and sautéed it for about one minute. I was in a hurry and ate it anyway. I brought half home and ate it the next day- hot- and it was much better. The homemade potato chips were delicious. I would definitely go again, but I would send the veggie burger back if it was served cold again.
Ugh
Convenient for breakfast when staying at the Pod Hotel next door Only positive point Very expensive even with the 10% reduction when you stay at the Pod Unfriendly welcome and service Stale croissants Dishes offered for breakfast not really in good taste We console ourselves with sunnyside fried eggs

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

When it says working on bid, it means there are people looking to fill it.
