The Draycott Los Angeles Reviews from The Last Year
Great location, awesome food and wine.
Servers could be better, waited a long time for drinks, water and food. A smile wouldn't kill them either. Love the location though , will come again
never thought I would be into British food, but this food
never thought I would be into British food, but this food was incredible. The ambience was hallucinating beautiful. We had started with the muscles which were dipped in this beautiful sauce that was creamy. My friend had a salmon plate and my other friend had a Wagyu burger and I had lamb chops which were perfectly made to taste. I would love to come back and try more. Note to mention their mac & cheese was incredible. The drinks were fun, fresh & got you faded pretty fast. Just look at the queen of hearts drink! our server was very kind. We loved him.
This restaurant felt like a small miracle - an calm oasis
This restaurant felt like a small miracle - an calm oasis in a very busy area - Palisades Village. While I love Angelini, the vibe here is much less intense but no less charming and there is usually never a wait for a table. We sat outside and it was perfect. I got a drink called the Eastside, which was delicious. We ordered the shrimp cocktail and deviled eggs and then I had a steak with frites, both of which were fantastic and my pal got the gruyere crusted halibut, which she said was fantastic. We both got dessert - hers was a chocolate terrine, wonderful, and mine was strawberry shortcake which did in fact fall a bit short - they cakes were incredibly dry - but I still finished it off. Will definitely come back!
Great beautiful location and interior.
Love the pea dip and great spot. Can be a little pricey

The service was sub par for the type of restaurant, I'm sure because we were a larger party and tip of 20 percent was to be added automatically they knew they didn't need to try. We had to get our own silverware multiple times. I also asked to have the table cleared several times. The waiter was just not present. The food was once again below average. I won't be going back here! We ordered the lobster omelet and there was no lobster in it, sent it back to add the lobster, the food was tasteless and the prime rib was over cooked. They also charged $40 dollars to cut our birthday cake and didn't even tell us. The cappuccino was the best thing we had. This was one of the worst experiences and restaurants I have ever been to.

I just had the best experience enjoying my time here! The service was impeccable! Truly enjoyed the exquisite crudite with all the dips and the tastiest freshest shrimp cocktail! Dropped in for a great meeting and afternoon snack! I cannot wait to come back for lunch, dinner and brunch!
As promised, came back for dinner.
Ordered a ton! (Baguette, shrimp cocktail, charcuterie, filet mignon, deviled eggs, and a smash burger). Plus a plethora of drinks. Amanda and Peter were great bartenders! If I must be honest I'll say the filet wasn't great. Under-seasoned. So why 5 stars? Everything else was flavorful and a ton of fun. So why not?
Touring Pacific Palisades and came to The Draycott for
Touring Pacific Palisades and came to The Draycott for dinner. Service was good and Jess took great care of us, offering great suggestions and checking in throughout the meal. The setting is really serene as their patio adjoins the grassy area where several couples and families had dropped a blanket and enjoyed an early Sunday evening. We had the cheese plate, salads, a wagyu burger and some fries. Everything was well prepared and portion sizes were good. Highly recommend The Draycott for an afternoon or early evening meal!
Just got done dining here for dinner.
We were celebrating a birthday and made note of it on the reservation however it was not acknowledged at all. The restaurant has a beautiful decor and is located in the Palisades Village. We were lucky to find street parking, however there is also a garage. Two of us had ordered drinks and I had asked for mine without ice, yet it still cane with ice. Due to that and the fact that they didn't acknowledge the birthday, I docked them one star. However the rest of the dinner was good. The tuna tartare was delicious although it could use a ponzu sauce or soy sauce added to it. However the dish was very fresh and tasty. The french onion soup was delicious! The burger wasn't too interesting, however the steak frites was fantastic! I loved the sauce it came with and the fries were wonderful. Overall we enjoyed our meal and plan to come back again.
First time at the Palisades and definitely won't be my
First time at the Palisades and definitely won't be my last, after visiting this little gem. Came for brunch with the family after walking around Santa Monica. We were greeted by who I assume was the manager, very nice and sweet lady. We got straight to ordering(kids were moody) We ordered an array of different dishes, and oh my....phenomenal! The cinnamon rolls are possibly the best in Southern California. The whole patio were talking about how amazing this dish was. I think the chef only does it as a special, so may be worth calling in first if you have a sweet tooth! My youngest had the red velvet waffle, devoured in minutes!! Eggs Benedict were basic but delicious!! The patio is beautiful, with a floral ceiling outside! Can't wait to try the dinner menu
A truly memorable family dinner
I booked a family dinner for 15 people at the Draycott. It was a special gathering for my father’s 88th birthday. It turned out the Draycott was just perfect for the occasion. The location, ambience, food and service was just first rate. A truly memorable evening.
Homey but upscale, Draycott forever!
I love The Draycott. It feels like a social club and the lawn outside is like your own backyard. Pea dip is a favorite for starters, cocktails are delicious, and one of the best burgers I've had in LA, for real! A lovely place for an intimate dinner or al fresco lunch on the patio, wonderful location in Palisades Village, grab a bite/drink before or after a movie nearby!
The Draycott is Wonderful
The food and ambience at The Draycott is always excellent! Fun to share appetizers with a great glass of wine. Sitting inside or outside, depending on the weather, is always a treat. The Draycott is my favorite restaurant on the west side of Los Angeles.
Enchanting Evening at The Draycott!
I had a truly wonderful evening at The Draycott. The patio's gorgeous setting offered the perfect backdrop to enjoy cocktails and a great dinner. Our server was incredibly attentive, ensuring every detail was taken care of. From appetizers to desserts, every dish was fabulous. The pea dip stood out as my favorite starter, and the Eton Mess was a perfect balance of freshness and sweetness. The Draycott is a gem that offers not just amazing food, but an entire experience. I'll definitely be returning for more memorable moments. A must-visit for a special night out.
Will Draycott be another casualty of Palisades Village?
When the Draycott opened, it was our favorite local spot for drinks and happy hour! What a disappoint when we returned last week. The Draycott was empty, they changed the Happy Hour menu to only four items - oysters, shrimp cocktail, olives and arancini and the amazing British pea dip with crudité was taken off the happy menu as was the Malbec wines and British beers. The biggest failure at Draycott was the wait staff. We had to track down our waitress to order a second round of drinks and then track down her again to get our check! If owners Marissa and Matt read this, I hope you will make the changes to restore the Draycott to its former popular hangout because now the restaurant is empty and the new staff doesn't care about your customers. With the high turnover at Palisades Village, I think Draycott may be the next to close.
