Good locale, good service
A bit upscale , a relaxing dining experience with an interesting menu. Suggest sitting outside in the garden area. Can get a bit noisy but not a problem. Fish, and other selections are all well prepared

We dropped into the Draycott on Sunday and it was okay. My partner loved her hamburger- itโs $25 so I hope so. The popcorn shrimp was very good. These are a bit larger shrimps but a small portion. But I also ordered the pea soup. I love pea soup. Never ever order this from this place. It was a tasteless paste, not a soup at all. Topped with a ricotta like something? Every thing lacked salt but no matter how much salt I added it still did not taste good! The only Chardonnay they offer is Rumbauer. And while this is an excellent Chardonnay, they charge $25 per glass! I donโt want to spend that much and I may want 2 glasses of wine. Overall I was disappointed. So be careful of what you order. Too many restaurants in high rent districts make bad decisions with regards to food and pricing.

I love this place! Aside from having amazing food and cocktail it's just so beautiful. So cozy and the staff couldn't be nicer. If you're in the Palisades you have to check The Dratycott out.
Be the first to ReplyLove The Draycott!!
The decor and ambiance at The Draycott is bright and welcoming and so is the service. Not to mention the gorgeous Palisades Village setting! This is the perfect spot for lunch or dinner and they even have live music! Highly recommend The Draycott for family fun or a nice date night. Cocktails are amazing and the menu is quite extensive with something to offer for everyone!
Be the first to ReplyNeighborhood Spot with Fun For All!
If you're looking for an everyday neighborhood spot with great food and something for everyone, go to The Draycott. It's a great place to bring family or hang with friends and they have a big menu that will appeal to a wide range of eaters. Their weekend brunch is a must! Great for sharing and the drinks are some of the best in town. I brought my parents and we sat at a lovely table on their outdoor terrace. The team was attentive and took great care of us.
Be the first to ReplyGreat lunch spot.
We traveled to LA from South Florida and wanted to meet some friends for a quick lunch with good food. This checked both boxes. The service was excellent. My son and I had the Wagu burger and our friend had the lobster roll. Everything was delicious. The plaza is beautiful. I would recommend this restaurant
Be the first to ReplyRoom and service fine ; food mildly edible
Six of us for dinner. Most of us didnโt come near finishing apps or entrees. Vegetable curry was barely edible and worse than any Indian restaurant you would go to. Mussels were bad. Pork chop seemed to be the only dish people enjoyed. Had beets and carrots as apps and they were okay but again flavor was drowned. Pea dip was nice. Service was fine. Wouldnโt go back, particularly at that price. Itโs too bad - ifs a nice room
Be the first to ReplyLunch in the Hamptons
Just returned from lunch. Three salads with chicken and three iced teas: $110 before tip. I don't mind paying for food (in the last two weeks I've been to Forma, A.O.C., Noma. But the salads were bizarrely flavorless. Plenty of chicken but no pizzazz at all. Cobb salad had cucumber, bacon, and watermelon radish diced to match head size, while rest of ingredients were "normal" sized. This led to awkward eating. Chicken was extra (on top of $19), which is odd considering the actual definition of a Cobb salad. Iced teas had virtually no ice (on a warm day) and were lukewarm. Had to get ice three times.
Be the first to ReplyWorst Christmas Dinner Ever!
We came to the Draycott for the Christmas Dinner Prefix meal and ordered the Curried Cauliflower Soup, Chicken liver mousse with grilled bread, paddle butter, dijon mustard, and the Seared Goose breast. The soup was brought to the table cold, we had to beg the waiter to bring more bread to the table, and the Seared Goose breast was not a Goose breast at all. What was brought to the table was two over-cooked inedible goose wings, not a seared goose breast. We complained to the waiter and he said there was nothing he could do and suggested that we pickup the wings and eat them with our hands. When the $350 bill came, the waiter had PRE-SET the credit card payment to include for himself a 22% tip. THIS IS THE WORST MEAL I HAVE HAD IN A VERY LONG TIME!!!!!!
Be the first to ReplyThe manager uses utmost profanity to patrons
The manager uses utmost profanity to patrons This used to be my favorite restaurant in the (relatively) new Palisades, and I've been there several times before and during COVID. But never, ever, in my life, until last week at the Draycott, have I ever been screamed at and been told to "GET THE F**K OUT" of an establishment, ever, and I am still reeling from the experience. Yes. The manager SWORE at the 3 of us, using the F-word, a vicious, disgusting man who has NO PLACE in what we can only laughingly call the "hospitality" industry. A little tyrant, drunk on power and embracing it with fervent gusto. I used to think that the ambience of the Draycott was worth the ridiculous prices, but no longer. Never ever again. This place should be shut down.
