Stunning! Absolutely stunningly beautiful.
This is one of the most gorgeous hotels I've been to. So stunning i'd like whoever designed it to come over & design my house! lol Me & my mom went to the Living Room Afternoon High Tea. And truly loved it. Was everything I expected & more. The staff are very friendly, welcoming & attend to your every need. The ambiance is so classy & sophisticated. I loved the beautiful harp music playing. And the cozy fireplaces in the background. Also the food was delicious. The scones melt in your mouth when their warm with butter. And especially loved the French Apple Cider. So crisp, and fresh. I couldn't get enough. Caviar was delicious as well. I thought it was a cute touch at the end they brought us out mini Peninsula cakes to go in a chic little shopping bag. We will definitely be back soon. Such a wonderful way to spend a weekend afternoon.

I fell in love with this hotel! Stayed at one of the suite for my birthday and had high tea downstairs at the living room. The whole experience was amazing. First walking into the suite and noticed the personalized initial on pillow case was such a sweet touch. The decor of the room really made me felt like I was in France, loved the balcony to my room. Their bed by far is the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in, I slept like a baby. Last but not least they offered me complimentary Rolls Royce personal driver to take me anywhere within Beverly Hills. They not only made me feel like a spoiled superstar but had given me an unforgettable birthday stay. My favorite hotel ever. Thank you to all the staffs!

We enjoyed afternoon tea here last Saturday, and it was quite an experience, which I do recommend trying out. The ambiance was very nice, I loved the harpist, all the flowers, and basically the feel of being in a living room (as we were on a couch). The sandwiches and desserts were tasty, but I think where they really shone was the ambiance and the atmosphere. The service was excellent, our tea cups were never empty, and every one was really friendly. My husband and I did have plenty of leftovers, which we enjoyed the next day. I especially liked the chicken and egg sandwiches. They gave each of us our own Peninsula Cap Cake, which was great with coffee (ate it at home the next day).I would give maybe 3 stars for the food, 5 stars for the ambiance and service. The place was picture perfect. It was also the weekend before Valentine's Day so the theme was Valentine's (see pics). Also, we did find street parking close by, so we did not need to do valet parking.
Be the first to ReplyHad an amazing dining experience.
Came here on a Saturday the weekend before Christmas, dinner with a reservation at 7 and we were seated promptly and it was very lively. We had Sergio our wonderful server. He was excellent, very thorough & attentive, and took time in explaining the vegan tasting menu. Every entree and dish he brought out he would explain and if he didn't know he would go in the kitchen, ask and come back with a grand story. Sergio has an amazing singing voice! If you ever have him, i hope he sings you a song I was very mesmerized. The server assistants and everyone seemed to enjoy their job.Had such a wonderful experience will be back. Also they have these really cute purse holders/ step/ stool

Visited The Living Room at The Peninsula for a cute birthday tea time. Not too crowded, great ambience, and attentive staff. Our server Moshe was very courteous and explained the tea sets and our champagne selections thoroughly- added bonus, he took amazing photos of us! Definitely recommend the bottomless champagne. Also, thank you so much for the complimentary mini birthday cakes!

Far and away, this is one of my go tos! While I am not here often, it is a place that I yearn to go to more! The service is excellent! They are great to everyone! I love the bar and pool areas the most! They are otherworldly to put it simply! When you are here, nothing else matters! Anywhere that allows for that feeling is a place to relish. I was here to watch the Super Bowl with my BESTIE dfrom Cleveland and my wife and enjoyed the sophisticated and civilized atmosphere! Maybe you want more raging people, BUT this Yelp does not concern them!! I love this place and recommend it as a must go!
Be the first to ReplyReally fun and classy brunch spot.
You can never go wrong hanging out at the Peninsula.
Be the first to ReplyI was treated to lovely tea on Sunday.
The gardens that the tea room overlooks are lush and beautiful. Our tea started with Champagne, followed by our chosen tea. Then each one of our party received a tower filled delicious treats. At the top we had two scones to be dressed with clotted cream, lemon curd and a fruit jam. Next we had deserts that were beautifully decorated for the holiday season. Then the bottom of the tower were tea sandwiches like a salmon, cucumber, egg salad, chicken salad and a roasted vegetable tea sandwiches. Everything was delicious, service perfect and a delightful mid morning surprise. Any treats you could not finish were boxed up for later. The Peninsula guest were given a special cake that was covered like a tiny hat box, all made in white chocolate.

From the time you arrive till the minute you leave it is about the best of the best. The welcome, the suite ( in my case always ) the furnishing, the monogram linens. The room service, the food as it is served....you cannot find anything wrong here. It is an amazement that it is consistent in every aspect of your stay.Thank God for the Peninsula Hotel, John Nazarian

Incredible service! Wonderful accommodations! It was a fantastic experience that I plan on doing yearly. I can't recommend it enough.
Be the first to ReplyCompletely underwhelmed.
The room wasn't ready until 5pm check in is at 3pm. Waited around for our Deluxe Grand room, which was neither. The photo on their website makes it look like it has a terrace. It has metal bars that would go on a terrace, but no terrace. It is no larger than a standard room at the Ramada Inn. The "garden view" is of a tree and other rooms. No garden, no terrace, not grand or deluxe. $1,100 per night is better spent elsewhere, for sure!

Always a favorite with impeccable service whether staying there, having lunch by the pool, dining in the bar, or my most recent activity tea. The tea is fab with savory and sweet, you also get a glass of bubbly and a large selection of teas.

I have never been so impressed with Hotel service and accommodations. After staying in just about every 5 star hotel in Beverly Hills/ West Hollywood... I think the Peninsula should be rated on another scale entirely. We stayed here for 2 weeks. First few nights were in a deluxe room and the rest of our stay was spent in their villas. Your initials are embroidered on the pillow cases upon arrival, they even come by to replenish your room with fresh fruit daily. Even your pooch will be pampered. From their dog menu , dog spa treatments, dog beds, custom embroidered dog towels & they will provide treats and food if you run out. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. You'll never want to leave!

Where to begin about this awful experience that was supposed to be a 4star hotel. Well first, the room was dirty, shag carpeting, old pilling sheets, dated bathroom. Just badly in need a renovation. The food and room service was really not edible and they make you wait an inordinate amount of time before anything even shows up. And then the valet was really horrible, they scratched my car and then rim and wouldn't acknowledge that it was their fault even with pictures. Just an abysmal experience - avoid at all costs.

Never disappoints! From the moment they greet you to the service upstairs at the rooftop restaraunt. We had the most amazing stay and the spa experience was peaceful & romantic. We had the couples massage, and as a connoisseur, I was thoroughly impressed. The only other hotel massage that rivaled them was Hotel Bel-Air, but the customer service here can not be beat! Excellent attention to detail! My favorite hotel in LA so far!
Be the first to ReplyThis has always been the hotel that defines Mediterranean
This has always been the hotel that defines Mediterranean and what Los Angeles aspires to be. We love the convenient and residential location right in Beverly Hills, the decor and atmosphere and restaurant food in the bright sunlight of downstairs or on the rooftop. We love the darkish, noir bar right inside the front door. We loved discovering that there is an entire back-of-the-building sprawling set of bungalows and walkways, with convenient seating areas and burbling fountains. And not only an outside large dining area with fireplaces, but rooms and rooms of private party sites from four to 100. We have been coming here for decades for dinners and family events. And, aside from missing Star Chef Bill Bracken and his pastry chef wife, it just keeps getting better and better and better.
Be the first to ReplyCame here on a Thursday for their high/afternoon tea.
They have a small hidden entrance compared to Hong Kong's location. You can either find parking on the streets or opt for valet. The fancy cars gets parked out in front while other cars are moved to their private lot.We had a party of 12 and we were seated at the big table by the windows facing the entrance. While making the reservation we made a note to have vegetarian items served only. Our whole party was not vegetarian but it made it simpler and more fair for everyone. We had the menus on our table but because ours were vegetarian, the savory items were different so I don't know what we got exactly :') But it was all very delicious! My favorite was the one with a zucchini slice. It tasted like pizza for some reason. The sweets were definitely sweet. As this was my first time here I tried to EAT, not sample, all of them but I couldn't finish 2 at the end. Majority of the sweets was very good. I used some of the "extra" veggies off the savory sandwiches to put on my scones. Because honestly, I prefer to drink sweet stuff instead of eating so I had to improvise a bit.I didn't order champagne (not a fan) so I got sparkling cider instead. For tea, I ordered the dragon crisp gen mai cha. The cider was good, wished I got a refill. The tea was just ok. It wasn't bad but not special either. I'd definitely get something else next time.We had to ask for some to-go boxes at the end and we got the Peninsula cap cake to go. I feel like their boxes and bags could be better or at least offer 2 sizes.Afternoon tea is something you come for the experience and ambiance with good company, not for the food. Overall, I had a great time. The reason why I deducted a star is because I had an issue with the cushions on the sofa. They weren't fluffed up anymore so I kept sinking down into them. I had to keep readjusting my position as my back was aching so it was a bit distracting :(
