I have to say the service was terrible , the servers looked like they did not want to be there , bad management and the food was very boringgggg. Nothing special !! This place is a tourist trap !!!
Be the first to ReplyService, very good.
Ambiance, nice. Food Menu, eclectic and lofty description that will disappoint upon delivery. The Crab salad Avocado Toast= 2 pcs of 1"thick bread, could not see Avocado and was not worth the price. The heirloom tomato and feta salad was nothing but 4 small tomatoes cut into 4's, no feta but sprinkle of mozzarella. Waiter commented it was not feta but did nothing to correct what we ordered. (Being Greek, we know feta/tomato salad) We both ordered same yellow tail fish. It obviously sat for a while before sent to us. It was tough. Table next to us ordered their purported Fishermans stew. He complained and wait staff did nothing. They were from Chicago and exclaimed disappointment w/o care. We use to enjoy this restaurant when it was next door to Tobacco Road. Sad to say the rent causes high prices and they cannot command high price w/value and seafood. We're not going back. Hate to report this but it was not busy, over priced and disappointing.

The oysters were phenomenal and the scallops were amazing! This is a gem in the heart of Miami. I love the ambiance at night, romantic, and cozy. A definitely must do if you visit where we live. :)
Be the first to ReplyAs someone who loves a good food happy hour menu .
... This place is LEGIT, but arrive before 5:30 so you can get a mix of the happy hour and regular dinner menus. Order all the happy hour tapas your heart desires. The clams casino were so good I ended up ordering 3 dishes of them for the table. We also had duck tacos, fried calamari, a dozen chef selected oysters and lamb meatballs. Everything was fiiire as someone who doesn't normally eat oysters the Kusshi oysters were flavorful. For dinner we ordered mushroom grouper (highly recommend bc it's not something you see everywhere) and the Thai snapper entree which is ALSO highly recommended. From the regular happy hour menu the baked oysters with chorizo were bangin. Things to stay away from are the happy hour cosmo drink and conch chowder (tasted diet to me but my wife loved it). I recommend parking at the public parking garage attached. There's a $10 flat rate parking fee which is good for Brickell and convenient. Enjoy!! 9.8 out of 10

Be the first to ReplyWas looking for a local spot to sample oysters in Miami
Was looking for a local spot to sample oysters in Miami while we were in town for the week and a quick Google search turned up this spot in Brickell. We opted to go during their happy hour special, which featured 1.75 oysters (chef's choice) and various other seafood and tapas selections. The patio area was enclosed enough to be able to see the beginnings of early Valentine's day traffic jams through the foliage. Our server, David was apologetic but since we were just enjoying each other's company it wasn't a big deal that the service was a little slow. It's to be expected on a holiday while sitting outdoors. He did a great job in getting our order accurate and kept us updated on the wait times of our upcoming dishes. Thank you David! The first round, we ordered a dozen happy hour oysters. 6 of them were Kushis from BC and the other 6 were larger ones (I forget the name) from New York. I'm always a little wary of the larger ones because more often than not, it's apparent that it wasn't cleaned well or not fresh. But these were meaty and creamy, so great that we decided to order another 6. We also ordered one Florida Rock Crab (first time trying this!). It comes with one claw and parts of a tail. I'm always open to trying new things. and the meat was so distinct from other crab species that I've tried. Some of the other dishes we tried on their HH menu: Goat cheese croquettes with fig jam - comes with 4, bite sized. Deep fried deliciousness. Goat cheese can get overwhelming in large bites. These were small and bite sized and tasted great with the fig jam. Serrano toast - A slice of baguette covered with some kind of proscuito like meat and cilantro. Probably the cheapest thing I've ordered this trip and it was delicious as well. Devil on Horseback - I was so curious as to what these were, I had to wikipedia it. Bacon wrapped dates which were stuffed with... cheese? I couldn't tell. But so, so, so decadent. My taste buds were delighted. Comes with three per order. Overall, a great place to enjoy some drinks and oysters during happy hour (3-7 on weekdays). They don't serve the dinner menu until later so just keep in mind if you go before that time you'll only have the happy hour selection to peruse.
Be the first to ReplyThe food and service was excellent.
The service from the hostess, waitress and bus attendant were some of the best we've ever seen. We did have trouble finding the restaurant but this is our first time in downtown Miami. Highly recommend!

Had a large group this past weekend, and had a wonderful time. Service was great, drinks were to DIE for (watermelon martini anyone?), oysters were fresh and delicious (I recommend doing the chefs choice).

What a spectacular meal! Service was good and the dishes were delicious! The Mushroom Crusted Grouper was amazing! The Whole Fried Yellowtail Snapper was tasty. I loved the goat cheese croquettes as well, I would definitely order them again. The crab toast was alright, nothing to write about. I can't wait to come back for happy hour!
Be the first to ReplyI hadn't eaten here for years.
I didn't even know they moved. The new place is gorgeous. The food is as delicious as ever. The oysters were fresh, the whole fried fish and the mushroom coated grouper were so good. The bar is on point. Great place to unwind.
Be the first to ReplyI was the only black woman at happy hour on 2 occasions.
I was not discriminated against & actually loved the place . Kevin was a great bartender , he was personable , efficient & attentive . My oyster's came late as an honest mistake & he made sure I got them quickly after I mentioned it to him . I'm not sure if he's supervisor but he carried himself as if he was a manager. Lastly Kevin explained happy hour in depth both times I came & was patient with ALL OF HIS CUSTOMERS!!! His hospitality was the sole reason I came to the restaurant 2 times in a 5 day vacation ! The food was amazing!
Be the first to ReplyWe went with another couple who hadn't been, they loved it!.
They have several wines by the glass and good options. I had the fiocci pasta app, the pear pasta, very delicious..I like the sage butter sauce..I did slightly miss the typical cheese sauce. I had also a special which was tile fish, jasmine rice with some type of incredible sauce with brussel sprouts. Loved it!!! My husb had the snapper special, cornmeal crusted over I'm not sure, he enjoyed it but missed that it had green peppers and green peppers don't like him. Our friends had the salmon and they loved it. The crème brûlée dessert was one of the best I ever had! I was so overfull but everything was so good I had to. They also serve delicious little pretzel type rolls, omg. Mel was our server and she did a tremendously great job, on the ball in every aspect. The place is so cute...top notch all the way around! I missed taking pics of the apps and dessert sad I know, next time!

Another one of my go to spots. The oysters are so fresh and delicious, you can taste the ocean, appetizers are great like goat cheese with fig jam, sardine toast, pretty much all the food here is great and the desserts. It's another one where we bring anyone visiting us, even if it's just for happy hour. The staff is great and the restaurant is clean and the staff is always wonderful. Sometimes I come here by myself for a drink and apps lost in my thoughts. Definitely a must try, multiple times!

Great food but service a bit slow as it takes a while to get it. Loved the fresh seafood and ambiance. But servers are friendly.
Be the first to ReplyThe service was very efficient.
Our waiter was knowledgeable on different liquors. The ambiance was a good balance between intimate and fun. The music was not so loud that you couldn't hear the other person talking, & the lighting was just dim enough to see your plate and not have to guess what you were eating. The food was exceptional, we had the salmon rolls which were so fresh and delicious, the octopus which was super yummy, and we shared the yellow tail snapper with broccolini. Everything was quite tasty except for the broccolini, which wasn't my favorite but all in all great dining experience.

If you want some fabulous seafood in Miami, this is your place. The ambiance is engaging and interesting. Not formal but not casual either. We were seated along the back and greated right away. To start, our server was fabulous. And I could kick myself that I can't remember his name as I'd like to give a shout-out. One of those people that just really seem to like what they do. Knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. We started with, you guessed it, oysters. They have a small selection but some from both coasts. They were good and my husband said the horseradish was "amazing". We paired that a martini. Both of ours were made perfectly. We then had the caviar deviled eggs. I'd fly back to Miami just to have those eggs again. For our main dish, I had the gnocchi with crab. So much crab and the best gnocchi I've ever had including the many Italian restaurants I've been to. My husband had black grouper encrusted in dried mushroom. So fresh and flavorful. And the sauce was delicious. For dessert we had the cobbler. I was too full to enjoy much but what I had was hot, firm fruit and fantastic flavor. Prices are not cheap, but there is no cheap in Miami. Highly recommend!
Be the first to ReplyReally liked the atmosphere.
We went for happy hour. The bar was packed. You could not find a seat and special pricing is only at the barThe oysters were delicious. The appetizers tasty. SMALL portions. Expensive for amount given. Didnt order entrees but they looked and smelled good. Will be back again
Be the first to ReplyIn Miami, looking for an oyster bar with a happy hour.
It was ok but the oysters were pretty small for the $21 price for a dozen at so called Happy your price. I did have the chicken as an entree which was good. The service was fair, but not great. Too many great places in The downtown Miami area and would probably venture out more.
Be the first to ReplyGreat service and food.
