Fee of $75 to view scandal suite !
The Watergate Hotel is worthy of its 5 stars , lovely rooms, great rooftop bar and the staff were very polite and friendly . This is definitely a 5 star hotel with 5 star prices , drinks and food pricey but honestly that’s expected in a 5 star hot
Yab & Ray
I was absolutely blow away with our experience here. I have to give a huge thank you to Ray at the front desk and Yab, one of the bell hops. This was our last night in DC and we spontaneously chose Watergate and happened to choose the Scandal Room. W
Always a good experience when visiting The Watergate Hotel.
My first experience, almost 10 years ago, was similar to my most recent. There has been a big budget reservation put into the building and aesthetically, it was worth it. The decor, lobby, hallways, artwork, and setting are all upscale. The low light
Well appointed with a few inconveniences
The Watergate Hotel has leaned hard into its association with the Watergate scandal, creating a unique, quirky experience. I appreciated the subtle references to break-ins and theft, as well as the retro typewriter font used throughout the facility

Argentta Spa & Watergate were amazing! Carol & Sean stood out. A true oasis during my DC stay. Carol & Sean were great!
I had a fabulous overnight stay at the Watergate Hotel and countless wonderful Mondays using the Argentta Spa day pass. Carol at the spa was absolutely fantastic, and Sean on the rooftop made the experience even better. The Kingbird restaurant was ve
First trip to Washington
We really enjoyed our stay. The beds are comfortable and I loved the shower in the morning. The service is excellent and all the staff make you feel welcomed.
Overall, good experience.
Well, trained staff. The rooms were spacious, and the balcony was a nice feature. The front counter people were attentive, courteous, and well trained. I thought the concierge was especially good.
Amazing location and facilities
The Watergate is a great place stay if you want to be close to the Georgetown Waterfront and the known sights in DC. Staying right on Virginia Ave allows you to walk 5 minutes to the waterfront where you can go for a wonderful walk into Georgetown fo
Everything was superb - the room, the view, the amenities.
The customers service was perfection.
Unique and Outstanding Hotel
We were pleasantly surprised on our stay at the Watergate. The rooms still have authentic touches and style with a modern twist. It is great to stay at a property with original charm and not “cookie cutter”. The service was very personal and
Urban resort level experience
The Watergate was a lovely experience. The mod 60s design was thoughtful and playful, with vintage detail even refelcted in staff attire. We enjoyed the amenities: the room's storage space, the rooftop's comprehensive view, the spa and fitn
Customer service
The hotel room was average, the shower door leaked, the ac vent cover consistently became dislodged, however despite these minor inconveniences the customer service was top notch. Everyone from the front desk (Hugo) and the valet were ALL exceptional
First class all the way. ❤️
The historic Watergate Hotel was very upscale, the rooms were comfortable and plush and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I'd like to give a special shout out to Yab, the doorman. He was our first contact at the Watergate, the face
Appaling breakfast service
Those of you who follow me will know, that I always try to be positive in my reviews. But I will not this time, the Watergate is overrated, it is nearly unfeasible to switch off the lights in the evening which makes it fifficult to sleep. And niw abo

I had high expectations for The Watergate Hotel given its reputation and five-star rating, but this stay was, by far, the worst hotel experience of my life. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that service and hospitality are not a priority here.
Worth a day for one night.
For history reasons. Restaurant and amenities are subpar. Yab made our stay more enjoyable. It's not close to much but there is a liquor store if you go down the escalator that doesn't work in the complex. They spent $200 million on renovat
Fantastic hotel in a great neighborhood.
The reception staff was helpful and welcoming. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious, with easy-to-use temperature controls. My room was spotless, quiet, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail felt thoughtful and high-end—I recently stayed at the
Absolutely AMAZING service and SUPER kind and awesome staff.
The rooms have full maid service so after a long day in dc you can just go back to your room and SLEEP in very comfy beds. I asked one of the maids for extra water and the maid remember that we wanted extra waters so we got extra waters every time we
Wow, I can't say enough about this place.
It is fantastic. The location is great. The staff is wonderful. The food is excellent. The accommodations are luxury not to mention the spa. It's a little expensive but they have a saltwater pool inside with dim blue lights a hot tub to die for
This was a horrible experience.
Too bad because the hotel itself is beautiful. My experience started as I was checking in. I was standing in line and had a mug and a paper bag in my arms. The bellhop offered to take the items and add them to the cart with our luggage. Fast forwar

I would not necessarily consider this a 5-star "luxury" hotel. Everything was just okay. Nothing to rave about. There are not many restaurants or bars close to the hotel, and the restaurant at the hotel closes at 9pm, which is somewhat

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to The Watergate Hotel Washington at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the The Watergate Hotel Washington page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.

* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* EternalAnt36, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's $200 bid.
* EternalAnt36 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to EternalAnt36 for any questions Peter may have as EternalAnt36 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation

* Once the reservation is secured, EternalAnt36 receives the $200 reward which is credited to EternalAnt36's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at The Watergate Hotel Washington!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
