LONG Waiting time !!!
I was extremely disappointed by the restaurant. Despite the amazing food and ambiance, the 46-minute wait was unbearable. It was worse than a flavorless diner that at least feeds hungry customers promptly. The restaurant consistently has long food preparation times, leaving both me and other customers frustrated. They offered a discount as compensation for the long wait.I wouldn't recommend this restaurant unless you're prepared to wait.
Be the first to ReplyGood food lazy service
As a party of 5 we ate outside. A quiet evening with 3 other guests inside. Disappointing lack of service with over 7 staff gathering inside the air-conditioned area. We had to flag and wave for everything we needed, and not once did anybody ask if the food was OK or if we wanted desert, etc. Final punch was having to pay a Service Charge for a total lack of service. Poor staff training and management. Food was good.
Be the first to ReplyUnderwhelmed
Itโs a new restaurant in the GB restaurant row and looked promising on line. The menu shows vegetarian and modern options. Our group ordered a salmon, roast chicken, Rueben sandwich & a poke bowl. Looked good but sadly the dishes left no amazing flavors. The Rueben was on the greasy side snd small. Parmesan cheese on fries had no parmesan taste. Even the chipotle roast chicken (most places do OK with this dish) was bland and just so so. The place offers no soda drinks, just healthy drinks.
Be the first to ReplyBad customer service
Bad customer service. Iโve been waiting for a server to get our orders, but to no avail. I had to approach the bar to ask for service. With their price point, I think they should have better customer service.
Be the first to ReplyDisappointing visit
Rather disappointing visit, the menu looks very exciting and the dish I selected did not measure up to the glowing description on the menu. Also they showed an extensive wine list but everything I ordered was out of stock which left only one white wine and one red wine, the most expensive on the menu. There was also an annoying dog at another table that barked as people walked past. In future we will look for a wholesome meal elsewhere.

Looking for healthy food options? This is the place for you. It has its own appeal though, but not for me. The chocolate cake is bland for my taste but the banana-mango juice with chia seeds ๐
Be the first to ReplyThis farm to table location left me a bad impression - poor customer service for sure
I rarely give bad reviews and Iโm usually patient with servers but this experience with this Greenbelt location really pushed my buttons. I sat down today for lunch and the guy staff(he was one of the nicer ones) was cleaning up their only available table with the couch at that time when I came after some customers just left. I was interested taking that table and he was cool with me moving there after heโs done cleaning but I told him thatโs fine and no worries and Iโll just take the table for 2 persons in the middle instead. After he was done cleaning the table, I figured Iโll just move to the only available table with the couch. Beforehand though, there was this lady staff whom I approached by the counter when I first walked in the place to check out their baked sweets and asked something. With my entire time interacting with her from the moment I walked in the door until I left the place, all I received from her was an apathetic, disinterested and cold answer or approach (not sure if her name is Michel printed on the receipt, as she was the one who punched in my bills I believe). She told me that the table is already reserved when clearly there was no signage on the table that it was. As I looked around the other table, the other table has a reservation sign but not the table with couch I transferred to. Besides, how could that be possible if some people just left and the guy server was cool with me moving there in the first place? Their place was not even packed at that time and they still have lots of available tables left. I ended up eating with my big tote on my lap the entire time, which was very uncomfortable. It would be absurd if I leave my tote on the chair in front of me. You know how it is with customers keeping their purses beside them especially these days when outside for security reasons. This left me a bad impression despite their nice ambience, decor and their farm to table concept. It is a disappointment and shame because as a New Yorker visiting the Philippines, this does not reflect a hospitable, warm service at all. They could have just told me that table is only meant for 3 to 4 people instead of telling me something else for whatever reason they had and I really doubt that table was reserved at all! With regards to their food, I hate to say this but I wasnโt impressed with their chicken croquettes at all. If anything, it was only basically loaded with cheese and I barely had chicken in there. The only order I had that passed the basic standards in terms of quality was their torched salmon bowl. Their virgin mojitos (we call it virgin without alcohol in the US) , particularly the Arnold palmer was basically just a bland black sweetened iced tea with basically 3 mint leaves like a garnish on top.(if you come to New York or to any sane food industry setting, youโll just be told might as well omit that ingredient, in this case mint, itโs an insult) It did not even taste even the slightest hint of mint at all. Itโs a shame for them to write down the description on their menu yet fail to deliver it precisely. I recommend them revamping their menu. For someone whoโs well travelled and a huge culinary foodie, this didnโt even passed the standards for a farm to table place most especially the service. I would like to be fair and give credit to the rest of the kinder more enthusiastic staff with less attitude though. Only that specific staff who cannot even smile like that could put up with that, but showing extreme disinterest (I would understand if you are just having a bad day but that is not an excuse and I bet you know who you are, but girl, you are in the food service hospitality industry and mind you, I also work in a fast paced industry dealing with different customers daily and I know what good customer service is supposed to be regardless of ones personal undertakings, it is supposed to be a part of your job). I was just caught by surprise and was tired for the day that I did not want to make a fuss or a scene when I was there. However, for the ownerโs sake and the business, Iโm compelled to bring this issue up. Pls. excuse me for grammatical errors or typo - I rarely write reviews let alone negative lengthy ones but this particular one has to be brought up.
Be the first to ReplyTaste and flavor are average. Careful with your salad.
Ambiance is good like their branches at Salcedo and BGC, the latter are bigger. Flavor is average especially if you are looking for something scrumptious. Ordered Superfood salad and it was a fail. The leaves were noticeably not fresh anymore -- almost half of the kale already turned into a yellow color and most of the edges of the lettuce were already black. We informed the manager of how it was unacceptable for us (and of course, for the the value of our money) but he kept on insisting that the leaves were not wilted. He offered us option to have the salad replaced without the kales in it or order a different one from the menu. We chose the same salad and had our bowl and plates (with some salad on it) returned. The new bowl arrived and I thought I was looking at same leaves! Anyhow, just to end the comfortless discussion with the money, we just ate it. Btw, we had the same salad in BGC branch and it was way better. Also, it would've been a nicer experience if the staff are warm and enthusiastic.
Be the first to ReplyGreat Place! Wonderful staff and food - Pre Covid 19
This place is great. I dined here multiple times in Jan 2020 and the food was delicious, staff was attentive and kind. Would go back. I hope they're still operating the restaurant, their website looked like Delivery or Pickup only.
Be the first to ReplyWholesome in Every way.
Atmosphere, service and food totally wholesome. Inside or outside you feel valued as a guest. Great for a quiet meeting or date. Staff sensitive and responsive. Great location on ground floor off Green Belt in the heart of restaurant precinct. Menus is simple but extensive in taste. Salads fresh and wholesome. 5 star rating.
Be the first to ReplyTried the new Filipino menu
Here are the dishes for The Wholesome Table's Filipino Menu:
> Guyabano (Soursop) Juice. This was the first thing that impressed me for the evening. I never liked guyabano since I was a kid, so I was surprised to like this one when I tried it. Very refreshing with the right kind of sweetness and a hint of sourness with no aftertaste. The Wholesome Table made a great choice for guyabano--it goes well with their eat consciously philosophy. Guyabano is known to fight cancer cells, helps lower blood pressure, improve the immune system, and more.
> Lumpia with Salmon Tuyo. First time I tried salmon tuyo in lumpia. This is a really good innovation. Delectable, fresh, still tastes meaty yet there's less guilt in eating it than the usual lumpiang shanghai.
> Ginataang Kalabasa. An aromatic dish that's surprising for ginataang kalabasa. The secret ingredient? Truffle oil and coconut cream. Heavenly creamy sauce with the freshest vegetables. Topped with spicy dilis for some contrast of flavor. This is my favorite pick for the evening. It's the first time I'm choosing a vegetable dish among other meat dishes as my favorite pick. This is just so good!
> Chicken Inasal. Paired with chicken inasal rice. Tender-grilled chicken goodness. I just find this version a bit salty for my palate, but it works well when mixed with rice.
> Sinigang na Salmon. The perfect sourness of a tamarind-based sinigang. The salmon was also good and tender, this adds up to one of the salmons that I like when cooked.
> Beef Kaldereta. What I love about this dish is everything was made from scratch, even the tomato paste. Great flavors yet so fresh. Different from the conventional kaldereta that can come out as strong which can sometimes give an umay factor.
> Puto Bumbong. Topped with shredded coconut, this is a common dessert and a Filipino favorite during the Christmas season. I'm just not sure if this will still be on the menu after the holidays.
> Bibingka. The bibingka was good, but what makes it even better is that it was filled with kesong puti. This was gone in seconds when it was placed on our table.
FULL/DETAILED review on my blog.
Great fresh flavors and experience overall!
I had the grilled Emmenthal cheese sandwich with onion jam and fresh tomato soup. Wife had the pesto pasta with grilled chicken. Glass of Spanish red wine.
Be the first to ReplySecond chance. Will not try again.
Arrived 12pm.
Business partners had ordered their main courses 10 minutes prior.
Waiters between ignorant to disinterested.
Reminded about ordered drinks after 20 minutes.
Meals of my guests arrived after 40 minutes overall (soup, pasta).
My pasta did not. Finally cancelled after 45 minutes, settled the bill and left.
Very bad experience
Extremely disappointing! The two stars is for the wait staff who tried to please. The food was horrible, especially considering the price. I asked for a burger medium rare and got well done. It was dry and tasteless on lettuce. They brought French fries, which I don't eat and did not see on the menu. I asked for a salad instead. For the salad they gave me lettuce with no dressing whatsoever. I requested dressing and got a sickly sweet melange which was truly hard to eat. I will certainly not return.
Be the first to ReplyConsistent with its other outlets
This was the first time I had been to this Wholesome Table outlet, having eaten at other locations a number of times.
I always like the ambience of this brand's restaurants and this one lived up to my expectations with a casual, comfortable feel about it.
They have a nice menu and the presentation and taste of the food is good. They could do with a better wine selection though.
Consciously Healthy
A resto that claims to help us eat right.
They offer plenty of healthy alternatives using fresh ingredients.
You can start with appetizers of calamari and pumpkin soup. Main meal can be a combination of poke bowl with salmon dices plus Greek burger. You may opt to add rucola pizza.
Best bet for me is the poke bowl.
Light, tasty and healthy. Guiltless too.
Donโt mind coming back here.
But they have to improve service to be more proactive.
Quality fade
Enjoyed it numerous times since they opened the Greenbelt branch.
Some issues with availability, food quality, cleanliness - but minor. Waiters usually fixed them fast.
Now. Quality appears to fade while wait staff loses interest - some have definitely lost attention and courtesy.
Whether watching them chat for minutes while waiting to order or complete self-absorption.
Loved the place but will no longer recommend it.
