Solid but not Leaky Cauldron
Pretty decent for Universal, not as good as Leaky Cauldron, but still a good option at Islands to sit down and order. Need to go to the bar in order to get beer though
Be the first to ReplyGood Food, Especially For A Theme Park
We thought about going to Mythos until we saw the prices. So we went to Three Brooms where we’ve eaten in years past. We were disappointed that we had to download the Universal park app to place our order, and once we did we waited 20-30 minutes for our order. But they didn’t disappoint. We ordered the fish and chips ($17.99) which came with fried potato wedges. The fish was just warm, but it was very good with the tartar sauce. We also enjoyed the rotisserie smoked chicken ($16.99) that came with a delicious ear of corn and yummy roasted potatoes. We also ordered a kids chicken strip meal ($8.99) with a very small cup of apple sauce and grapes. All of our food was good, better than we remembered. I was surprised that their sweet tea ($4.50) was as good as it was. And our server was very friendly. We tried the butter beer on a previous visit and did not care for it.
Be the first to ReplyBest breakfast in the parks
If you want to eat breakfast at the park, this is the place to go. The food was great and a real value when compared to other places to eat in either park. Pancakes were nice and fluffy served with crisp bacon. The fresh fruit breakfast came with enough fruit for two. Really enjoyed eating here. Dont miss it!

Stopped in for quick breakfast for our son. Line looked long but went fast. He ordered the kids pancake breakfast, with bacon, sausage and croissant. Nice size meal for a kid. We also had 2 coffees which were average. Robin working the register was nice and helpful.

Wonderful experience. Spectacular food and fair price! The dishes are plentiful, some serve 4 people. Everything very tasty. Do not let to go!
Be the first to Reply“The Great Feast”
We really enjoyed our meal at the Three Broomsticks. We thought “The Great Feast” was good value for the money, compared to most meals - and it was delicious! Of course, you have to try the Butterbeer!
Be the first to ReplyGluten free breakfast
The staff were so accommodating of my gluten free requirements. The chef came to speak to me in person to explain the options and the gluten free pancakes were delicious. Big thank you to the chef.

Upon entering for lunch we were instructed to order via the app which was fussy, slow and didn’t accept our credit card on the first attempt. It took a long time to order and get food. Waitstaff could not answer our questions. The table had a greasy film on it and I observed a worker wiping a table with a wet wipe— just disgusting. The chicken salad, a pile of tasteless iceberg lettuce topped with bland chicken, had a HAIR in it. My spouse spit out his food upon biting into a rotten tomato and called his meal “prison food”. The biscuit was a flavorless, hard hockey puck. My child could barely eat her mac n cheese. We wanted to toss out the whole unappetizing meal—a waste of time, money and plastic plates. On top of that, I witnessed a worker drag a leaking garbage bag full of plastic plates, drinks and uneaten food across the floor. No one returned to wipe up the mess left behind. Broomsticks, if you can’t do it well, then don’t do it at all.

I'm already planning my return to this restaurant. Wonderful !!! The corn they serve is delicious. The decor is beautiful!
Be the first to ReplyDon’t miss eating at the Three Broomsticks!
We ate lunch here and were so happy with the experience we came back for brunch the next day. You order at the counter and then they bring it out to you. We were actually surprised at how good the food was. We came back the next day for a full breakfast. It can be quite crowded so we tried to eat at off times.
Be the first to ReplyThey charge you only for the name
They charge you only for the name. First of all, it works as an attraction, that is, you have to wait in line to enter. Then, there are no bathrooms inside so you have to go out and search in the park. Unlike the vast majority of Universal restaurants, you cannot fill the Coke LifeStyle Mugs and what's more, the prices are an armed assault considering the quality of the food. I do not recommend.
Be the first to ReplyMy extremely disappointing visit to 3 Broomsticks
Universal's Three Broomsticks surprised our travel group. We ordered our food at 6:56 pm. Around 15 minutes later, two of the six orders (there were six of us) were served. The rest of us thought we would receive our orders soon after. 40 minutes after receiving 1/3 of our order, the remaining four orders had not been served. Servers who saw us raising our hands broke eye contact and walked away. What to do? We promptly went to the counter and asked where our food was. The lady at the register said she did not know. We gave her the receipts; a puzzled look. The manager asked what was going on, so the lady explained. He said that it would be taken care of. When he brought us the food, we asked for some compensation. After rejecting his offer of "giving us Hagrid" (we had to leave on the bus soon), he told us that he would take care of half the food. We thanked him and finished our dinner with just 20 minutes to spare. But upon going to the counter to receive our partial refund, he informed us that he would NOT in fact be providing a refund due to the fact that we purchased most of our food with gift cards provided by the school for buying food. We were confused. He reiterated that he could not give us a refund, even in cash. We were disappointed. In an accusatory tone, he asked us why we had not gone to the counter sooner. I explained that we simply thought that it was due to the fact that there were many customers. After shortly briefly apologizing, the manager then turned away to converse with another customer beside us. Not wanting to argue further, our group bolted towards the exit to catch the bus. Some of us tripped along the way; others almost vomited. Thankfully, we were able to get on the bus back to the resort. We were thoroughly disappointed with the quality of service, but at least we didn't do anything rash.
Be the first to ReplyTheme good, food bad.
Atmosphere is a five but the food is a two, practically inedible. I went for breakfast and I know they have to serve a lot of people all the time but really? It felt like an assembly line of a bad breakfast buffet with nothing hot or fresh. American breakfast was fake eggs, okay bacon, okay potatoes, a hard croissant and I don’t have any idea what the ‘sausage’ was, when you took a bite it stuck to your teeth! The pumpkin juice was the best part of the meal.
Be the first to ReplyGood food, needs a bigger drink selection
Food was very much representative of the price. Portion size was good as well. My only quarm is with the drink selection which could of been expanded a bit but bar that can't fault the place.
Be the first to ReplyAbsolutely awful queuing system
Had no problem queuing to get in, but then you queue again to order, then again to get your food , we waited over 40 mins and it was a shambles, By the time we asked where our food was , we were told they had forgotten, they then proceeded to produce half of it, which sat and got stone cold then 10 mins later produced the rest. We then had to wait whilst a server found us and 20 other people a table. For such an amazing place as a whole, this restaurant and the system they have was shocking.
Be the first to ReplyWonderful atmosphere, ample portions and kind staff
Really enjoyed this restaurant. We were able to get in for breakfast twice with minimal wait. Finding a table was easy. You order at a numbered register then wait at the food counter under the same number for your meal. All meals are large. You will be full. Breakfast was delicious except for the black pudding, which is not an easy dish to serve perfectly so I was thankful that it was just a small portion. Dinner was awesome. The ribs and chicken were tasty and not over cooked or drowning in sauce like some quick service places tend to serve them. Staff were constantly cleaning and very kind. Highly recommend for the food and the atmosphere.
Be the first to ReplyNice Change from Burgers and Pizza
First, it's a theme park. When cokes are over $5 you really think you are going to be paying Happy Meal prices? Get over it. Second, the Three Boomsticks is a large, efficient semi-quick meal option. The fish and chips are solid as is the Shepherd's Pie. We really like the Great Feast. It's around $75 for a platter of four portions of baked chicken (2 Thigh/legs, 2 breast/wing), 4 corn on cob, 4 double ribs, broccoli, and roasted potatoes. This last time, the corn had not had enough cooking time and was hard. But, everything else was superb. The process: You wait in line, with no shade (be prepared) for a full que is about a 30 minute wait. You go in main door, turn left go to registers where you order. You pick up some of your order in a separate line and they give you a table number to display. A cast member will find a table for you and direct you to it. Some of the chairs are very low, so be aware. The music and environment makes you at home in the Harry Potter world. Make sure you get the frozen and hot butterbeer as they both are excellent,. Hint: The line inside the bar area is shorter than the outside butterbeer locations if you don't want lunch. For a hungry family of four, the Great Feast is much better than some of the other theme park offerings.
Be the first to ReplyVery immersive but staff didn't seem too friendly and not a lot of choice of food.
We were stunned as we walked in, it was very immersive and looked great. It was a pretty long line which took a while but luckily it didn't need reservations. The woman who took my order didn't seem overly friendly and took my name down wrong twice. Everyone else was fine.
As we walked through the line we looked at the menu and saw it didn't have much choice for food. Maybe 5 dishes max. I had the fish and chips and it was ok but not great. Tried to flavour it by putting on ketchup but it was empty. Although had a butterbeer along with it which was lovely.
It was great to experience dining in the Wizarding World but I'm glad we only went to the Three Broomsticks once. There are better places for food elsewhere. The only good point I can think of would be the immersion of the place.
Such a sad experience
I saw it offered a full English Breakfast and my mouth started watering......and a cup of tea! Placed my order and she said creamer is round the side. "Creamer" I asked, pointing out that tea does not have creamer it has milk. She said we would have to buy a glass of milk if we wanted it in out tea - so tea was cancelled and replaced by orange juice
Breakfast appeared - one chunk of tomato that had been picked up pointed at the grill and then put back on plate, two cold rashers of anaemic bacon, black pudding by the chunk, not sliced, when it had said American breakfast potatoes I had visualised the little square chunks but no, these were thick slices of almost raw potato and the mushrooms were too hard and chewy to eat. Scrambled egg, linked sausage and the very few baked beans were passable but the majority of my expensive breakfast was inedible - such a shame as previous day our meal in The Leaky Cauldron was tasty so I guess I was expecting more of the same
Overall I would not return and could only recommend going somewhere else
great breakfast, cool atmosphere, long line
My husband and son wanted to go on Velicocoaster and I didn't so they got in line and I got in a different line...at the Three Broomsticks. The line for me moved pretty slowly we almost finished at the same time (about 45 minutes).
At this restaurant, with a Harry Potter theme, in Hogsmeade, you order your food and they serve it to your on a tray which you then take to a table of your choice (open seating). So it is like a cafeteria. They offer hot and cold options. I got us cold entrees since I wasn't sure exactly how long my family would be and fruit trays sounded good on a warm day.
The food was good and the staff was friendly. I wasn't able to hold the food for 3 people on one tray so an employee helped me carry some of it, which was very nice of her.
The interior is similar to the Leaky Cauldron with high ceilings with wood beams and just a great look to it.
We enjoyed our last breakfast of the trip at Three Broomsticks.
Wish we had given it a miss
Called here for lunch on 7th April. The queue was busy but we moved quite fast. The main problem is you have your hot food then you have to wait for them to find a table. We ordered 2 chicken and potatoes, 1 fish and chips, 1 cottage pie with 4 soft drinks. This was $80.34 which was a rip off for the portion size. Wish we had given this a miss
Be the first to ReplyBreakfast
We enjoyed breakfast here on our IOA day at the parks. The line moved quickly; choice of 4 different breakfast meals for a single adult/child price. Food was good and good sized portions.
Be the first to ReplyGreat breakfast - Great atmosphere
We really enjoyed breakfast at the Three Broomsticks. The food was good but it’s really all about the atmosphere. We found it to be a little less crowded in the earlier hours for breakfast. The breakfast also comes with a butterbeer. This place is a great experience for kids or Harry Potter enthusiasts.
