Tony's Di Napoli 1081 3rd Ave New York, NY 10065 United States New York Reviews from The Last Year
Family style restaurant with average southern Italian
Family style restaurant with average southern Italian dishes. We were a party of 18 and enjoyed the convenience of a private room. Service was good, ambiance nice, and food was mediocre. Overall enjoyed the company and would recommend for large parties

we celebrated a graduation this evening and from the moment we arrived and were greeted by favi, kayla and kevin who were sooo helpful and patient. it's quite a stressful position with sooo many people demanding sooo many different things but they were composed and very good at what they do. our server, durim was also exceptional at his job. he was sooo helpful and courteous and patient with our party of 24. he and favi, kayla and kevin are a nice reflection of their superiors and the tony di napoli brand. thank you to all of you for making this evening special.
Wonderful experience at Tony's.
Came with a pretty of 12 for my daughter's graduation. Kind of a high end upscale version of Carmine's in Times Square. I choose this over that. The service was friendly and prompt. The food was pretty good, especially the rigatoni. And the dessert was great. Forgot to take pics of all the foods cuz I was so hungry.

Tony's is a staple for those looking for plates brimming with food, friendly service, and a loud, bustling atmosphere. It's the kind of place where the waiter sings happy birthday with a rich baritone voice that interrupts your conversation. The salads were ample yet so overdressed I didn't taste the kale, just the honey mustard. I had a hankering for bolognese so ordered the ravioli bolognese, yet neither the sauce nor pasta had any discernible taste and both were covered with too much cheese under an ocean of sauce. My $15 glass of Malbec was generic as well. Lots of people smiling and enjoying their meal, yet I'll say I've eaten at a place I've wanted to try as I pass it all the time, and end with that.

nothing spectacular, and pretty expensive despite the marketing of family sized portions. none of the pasta was even hot, they were served as if they'd been sitting out for a while. it was pretty busy on a thursday night, but the waiter was decent at refilling drinks and removing dirty dishes. area was loud but nicely lit. calamari was probably the best appetizer we got. free bread was so hard it scraped the roofs of our mouths, and the mussels were a little too fishy for my taste. vodka pasta was pretty good, but the portion was so small for a full size. the bolognese had a decent amount of meat and flavor, but it was somewhat watery. chicken parm was so soggy and nothing held together after cutting it. didn't try the shrimp scampi, but nobody at my table really like it, so def pass on it. don't think I'd come back for the prices. a table of 7 was $66 per person, would have preferred my own plate of pasta at that price point.
Service was amazing!!! Can't wait to go back.
.. waitress was very polite. The food had great taste. Looking forward to going back when the weather breaks
I've been going to Tony's since they opened in the 90's.
I have so many great memories here with family, friends, co-workers that every time I hear the name or walk by I just have to smile. In between 63rd and 64th on Third Ave in the upper east side it's been a staple in the neighborhood for years. TBH... i'm not a fan of family style eating, but I always make an exception for the food here. This is true New York, authentic Italian food. It's your basic homemade red sauce with unmistakable flavors and served to you with warm hospitality. I've never had a bad meal here. Meatballs -are some of the best I've had. I make my own and grew up with a lot of Italian influence... and these are good. Veal and Chicken Parm are always my go to here. The sauce makes the dish. And it so tender. Baked clams are exceptional. No one in the city comes close. Portions are big, they're meant to be shared. Prices are so reasonable. Bring good friends, family, or both. Drink some wine, be prepared to have good food, good service and just a really nice time. I've been going to Tony's since they opened in the 90's. Went with family and food was good and portion size was ok.
Atmosphere was nice and good for a family or date night. Staff was friendly and attentive during the visit. Would recommend and revisit.
We ordered seafood with black linguine.
Half size was enough for two. Plus a salad half size to be shared. Absolutely delicious. Fresh ingredients, sauce is perfect. Waitress very considerate and helpful. Very quiet dining room near the entrance. Perfect!
So good the sauce wasand I loved it spender a good time
So good the sauce wasand I loved it spender a good time with family the bathrooms look weird but anyway so good five stars oh and the service was amazing and very welcoming thank you
I used to like this place a lot but it's gone downhill.
Food just keeps getting worse and worse as time goes by. Sauce tastes like it comes straight from a jar
Very good! Amazing espresso martinis and attentive
Very good! Amazing espresso martinis and attentive waitstaff. We had their meatballs and shrimp scampi and they were delicious!
Came here with a friend on a Sunday evening during the end
Came here with a friend on a Sunday evening during the end of January and was seated pretty quickly. Everyone was friendly, the place looked clean and the food came out pretty quick enough. For appetizers we ordered a Caesar salad and calamari fritti. For the main course we ordered spaghetti & meatballs and chicken francese with broccoli. In conclusion, the food was ok. I do love that they give out generous portions, it is budget friendly and everyone was nice but I wasn't wowed by the food.

If you are looking for reservations for big groups, this is the place. I went with a group of 11, waiter was able to split bill into two from the beginning, easier to calculate at the end. Also they have family size serving portion. Tables are big enough so spread out; portions were good. Try their meatballs, sauce was delicious.
I had dinner last night at Tony's east side .
we started with the hot antipasto , moving along rigatoni with vodka sauce , then sliced steak with peppers . WOW . Tony's never disappoints

I've earned $150 in a transaction and am not able to send this to my account. It's been rejected 3 times because I'm asking for too much?
The customer support function has provided zero responses and there are so many fees on the deposit process. What the heck? Has anyone been able to withdraw $ from earned bids?

You can only deposit $50 at a time until you earn the “Sales and Low Refund Medal” I believe. Im new to this as well but the ability to deposit more money at once and increase your amount of listings comes with that medal.

Someone else posted that they were only able to transfer $50 at a time so maybe that’s why it says you’re asking for too much. I haven’t sold anything yet so I have no personal experience but I would try $50.
