Topolino's Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera Orlando Reviews from The Last Year
Absolutely wonderful
The bucket of baked goods was a wonderful surprise. The characters a delight. The views were beyond amazing from every angle. I ordered the quiche. It was good. Had a delightful salad but for breakfast was odd but tasty. The potato’s yummy. My son had steak and eggs. Mushroom risotto, wonderful char taste to the steak. Cocktail menu perfect. Peach Bellini. Definitely eating there again and definitely trying dinner. The decor light and airy. After we ate we went to the outside to the terrace. Expansive and views all the way to Hollywood.
Food and service very good; view, great.
We tried this restaurant for the first time after hearing many good things about it. The atmosphere is very nice, reminding me of a restaurant in New York or any other fine dining that I have been to. Everything is modern and clean. I had the filet and my wife had the boulibase. Both were spot on. We were able to see the fireworks at Epcot Center and explore the outside deck after our dinner. The view is absolutely incredible. It is the most peaceful and tranquil space I have been in all of my life in Disney and I have been here many times. In fact, if you is it the Riviera Hotel, take advantage of this serene sanctiftude, you are truly missing an amazing experience. Highly recommendable.
A staple of our trips
We always have breakfast at Toppo anytime we go to WDW. The food is flavorful and the children's food fits the theme. Disney customer service can't be beat. The characters also match the artist theme. You can go out on the terrace for a wonderful view.
Unhappy staff.
We enjoyed a character breakfast there on May 4th with 4 adults and a 2yo and a 6yo. The resort, restaurant and terrace are beautiful. The hostess asked about the kids ages and if we had any celebrations (yes, our 50th anniversary and we had pins on). The waitress never acknowledged the celebration and didn’t acknowledge that one of the kids was under 3. I asked about the 2yo’s meal and the waitress was sort of vague about it until I asked specifically about her being 2, then was told she could share off our plates or we could pay the fixed price of $30 for her to have a meal. The waitress seemed to think we should know that, but considering at other Disney character meals, under 3 is free why should we know. Since we doubted she would eat, we didn’t order a meal for her. The food was delicious. Get the steak! The quiche was good too. The avocado toast was just ok. The kids meal included 2 small waffle dippers and 2 sausages for $30, which the kids shared. The characters were good and came by twice and signed the kids books. I’m not sure why, but the staff that I saw did not seem Disney happy. Not many smiles or friendly greetings. PS. The 2yo ate the choc ‘pudding’ dip that came with the croissants and she was very happy, but it limited the character hugs.😉🤣
Excellent restaurant.
..we had the burrata (actually wish there was more burrata- it was more a beet kale salad with a touch of burrata but it was still excellent and I'd definitely order it again even though I'm not much of a kale nor beet kind of guy). We also had the gnocchi. I wish this was an entree size as this was the best thing we had. The gnocchi was soooo pillowy (absolute perfection) and the sauce was so good. Lamb was very tender. Our entree was the truffle chicken rigatoni. It was good but for me had too much truffle flavor (I prefer shaved fresh truffle). Our server Corey was very good, knowledgeable and paid the proper amount of attention. There's also some nice views outside.
Great location
We visited again for breakfast but this time I didnt feel that it was as good as last time, seemed very rushed with the chaaracters and not a lot of inaction for the little ones. Food was okay. The amphoshere was great and the views outstanding from the terrace outside.

My wife and I love Topolino's Terrace and have eaten here a few times, but this particular outing was subpar. I had the filet mignon, ordered medium rare, but it was overcooked and a bit dry because of it. The asparagus was a little bit undercooked and the potato medallion was flavorless. Fortunately our server was wonderful, but I will be mindful about what I choose next time. Going for breakfast here might be the better play.

Topolino's is incredible! From the decor and views to the service to the amazing food- we loved it all! Our party of 5 loved our dinner and our first visit there left a great first impression. We had a great seat by the window and were able to enjoy the fireworks show that started around 9:00pm. The food! My pork valley appetizer is an absolute MUST! Literally one of my favorite things I've had in quite some time. The cauliflower steak was also well done and a nice option for vegetarians/vegans. Desert was fantastic and everyone else enjoyed their entrees. You really can't go wrong with anything here, but make sure to bring a jacket in case you're seated under an AC vent as it gets cold in those areas.
We were celebrating my in-laws' 44th wedding anniversary
We were celebrating my in-laws' 44th wedding anniversary while in Disney and were looking for a nice, fine dining experience. Topolino's was recommended to us and we had made our reservation about five weeks before. We couldn't find any kind of reservation for five people, so since my three year year-old would be with us I figured it would be easy for him to just sit on me, if necessary and/or have a high chair. So I made the reservation for four, and that was available right away. There's always a big difference between five and four in terms of availability. It was so nice, entering into the Riviera. We took the elevator up to the restaurant and we're so impressed by how nice it looked. They even have dried pasta hanging in a case and their wine displayed as well. We were greeted by the host and hostess. The host seem to be very irritated that there was five of us and I had made the reservation for four. He had mentioned that now we were going to have to wait for an open table. I tried telling him that it wasn't a big deal because my son can just sit with me. We waited for about 10 minutes and then I checked back in. He seemed to be growing more and more frustrated with me. It really wasn't that big of a deal, I had mentioned. Finally, they called our names and we were escorted to a table, in the back with a beautiful view of the tourist That had six seats. Now, we had more than enough room. Unfortunately, we were all kind of in a bad mood by the way we were treated when we first got there so it put a damper on the evening and the experience. We were greeted by our amazing server, Rae. She was so sweet. Attentive, great server. The rest of the experience went by pretty fast. We did not indulge in cocktails or appetizers, but just simply put our orders in. We didn't really have to wait long at all For our food to come out and they did bring out complimentary bread. They have a decent kids menu. My son ordered the grilled chicken with carrots and macaroni and cheese. The pasta is made in white, cheese sauce and it's delicious. You know, a good mom always taste tests their child's food. My husband ordered the lamb shank and mentioned how delicious and also what a big portion it was. My father-in-law ordered the Branzino and it was delicious, I tried some. my mother-in-law and I decided to split the fillet and scallops dish so we could create our own little surf and turf. I would definitely recommend that. The filet is a huge portion over a bed of mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. The scallops come with delicious vegetables and I believe there were five of them. They brought out a tiny little, complimentary dessert for my in-laws anniversary. Overall, I thought the food portions were more than generous, the food itself was delicious, the terrace is so pretty. I definitely recommend going out there either for a cocktail before you eat, or after. Or just to take photos like we did after our meal. Such an amazing view. Nice, swanky seating. Perfect environment for cocktail or golden hour. Not impressed by the host situation, but definitely loved our server, shout out to Rae! The prices are high, but nothing unusual for fine dining in Disney. Also, you do get a lot for what you pay for. The environment is beautiful. Everyone is dressed up and having a great time.
Fabulous service, but not worth the hype.
The service at Topolino’s is magnificent! Taylor was our server and was efficient, professional, friendly and attentive. Topolino’s has a recommended dress code, but it was sad to see so many guests dressed in shorts and t-shirts, so they should take the dress code away from their recommendations. The ricotta starter was delicious! However, the rigatoni was beyond salty. It was inedible! My husband’s sea bass was good, but dry. When I told Taylor that my food wasn’t good, she apologized and asked if I wanted anything else. I said no, because everyone else in my party had finished their meal and there was nothing on the menu I wanted. However, I was still charged for the meal. The ambiance of the room was taken away by the large open size of it. Views were nice from our table’s window. The terrace was so nice! We have now tried Topolino’s and have no reason to go back. For the price you pay, I was disappointed.
Wonderful restaurant, great menu, service was top notch.
Steak was amazing and melts in your mouth. Impressive wine and dessert drink selection. Highly recommended. This is a Disney must-do!!!
We have finally made it to Topolino's breakfast after being
We have finally made it to Topolino's breakfast after being DVC members at Riviera for 4 or so years.. We were super excited and I could not wait to experience it!! Checking in online helped reduce the wait time once we arrived to the restaurant. And I have to say, the service was excellent!!! Food was good, mostly, we ran into a few issues, mainly the avocado toast was impossible to chew due to bread being stale and tough.. but all was taken care of by our wonderful server.. Steak tips were great! You could really taste the wood fire, and my hubby and I both loved it.. our youngest insisted on "grown-up waffles" and enjoyed them a lot.. the oldest had the avocado toast, which didn't work out, but loved the parfait with berries they replaced it with. The characters were a delight, and although our kids are getting older, they still loved getting hugs! Overall, this experience was an absolute MUST! ONCE! The price is quite high.. we will likely opt for other breakfast options in the future.. just because we do most things on a budget and it was a splurge.. but it was well worth it to have this experience... if budget was not an issue, sure, I'd dine here every time I visited.
Worth every penny for brunch! my daughter was so happy!
Worth every penny for brunch! my daughter was so happy! Great service, great food and great environment!
Food including the pastries at breakfast are amazing! Great
Food including the pastries at breakfast are amazing! Great quality food with willingness to be flexible and customize for their character breakfast location. Probably the best opportunities to meet Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy as compared to other character locations where you might not get a chance to meet and take pics with all of them. Food is far superior quality as compared to other character breakfasts at the same price ($49 per adult). Beautiful views as well. A must do character breakfast, well worth it!!

To start off, this place is a lot like California Grill, set up very similarly. Doesn't take anything away from it. Bread was good and different. The sole was incredible, the sauce to go with it made it a really tasty dish. It also came with a lot of fish, which I liked. Service also was great as always here. Definitely a new spot here in DW.
Great food.
Excellent staff. What more could you ask for? This is a go to place for every Disney visit.
We love it the first time but this time was the last.
For $111. For two for breakfast we are disappointed to say the least. My husband went with the area and eggs since, hey at these prices, go for the the steak. He ordered it medium. What he received was two medallions that were raw. RAW. We could not find the waiter after it was dropped off (mind you, it was covered in mushrooms, or he would have stopped him at the moment it was delivered). We didn't see the waiter again for 30 minutes. Things the only complaint. But it is a big one. Well that and the lack of a steak knife. We boxed it up. My husband ate the basket of pastries and we left. You are paying for the character interaction (which was very nice even if you don't have kids). The coffee is good but we won't be back. Boma is a a fantastic breakfast and though there is no character interaction, we find it to be wonderful.
The place is still beautiful and the staff pleasant, but
The place is still beautiful and the staff pleasant, but I'm afraid the food was not up to par on my last visit. It was still awesome that we arrived around 5pm starving and they seated us right away without reservation at the bar for a small appetizer meal. "Escargot en Gougères: Savory Pâte à Choux, Butter, Garlic, Lemon, Parsley" I had been craving the escargot I had loved so much on my last visit but they made changes since then that was less palatable. They removed the shell from the escargot, making the experience not as fun. They also soaked garlic bread bites on it, which at first looked like a great idea. I found out soon enough that the whole thing was so salty, I just finished the escargot part with the bread I was given at the beginning of my meal and left the bread that was soaking in salty sauce, and I only ate the escargot out of respect for the creature who lost its life to be my meal (and because it cost a pretty penny ) "Celery Root and Black Truffle Soup: Brown Butter, Honeycrisp Apple, Focaccia Crouton" I'm a sucker for truffles and had to try out this soup. I tasted the celery but didn't really taste any truffles. It was presented beautifully in that they put the soup on top of the solid ingredients right in front of you. It was light and airy and not as tasty as I was expecting. The best thing about this dish is that I had something to decrease the saltiness of the escargot. I had originally wanted to order the rigatoni, but my husband wanted to eat somewhere else later in the day so we compromised by only getting appetizers since I was starving already. Maybe it would be better? We won't know now. Perhaps we will try it next time we are in town but the dishes we got today will definitely not make it back on my list of must-haves. Sorry, Topolino's. I'm sad to be writing this.
Breakfast is fun
My daughter and I took her kid age 3 and 5 here for the character breakfast. You now order an entree. We got 2 different ones and they were delicious. Eggs, sausage and potatoes. Waffles. The kids got Mickey waffles and they came on a stick so easy for them to eat. You also get delicious pastries with butter and chocolate to dip them in. Each character came around once and hugged the kids and took pictures. Great way to start the day

one of the best steaks i've had in orlando and the pasta of course was delicious as well. loved the vibe of the restaurant, the service was also great and it was overall a lovely experience. if you have a chance i would recommend checking out the outdoor terrace, it's dreamy.
Went for breakfast with my daughter and her family
Went for breakfast with my daughter and her family including a 1 year old. First off, parking is difficult, especially handicap parking (there are only 9 handicap spaces). Some of the handicap spaces require climbing a long flight of stairs to reach the lobby. After a short wait we were seated next to a window (great view). The characters came often and interacted with the little one wonderfully. Food, not bad, not great. Service, poor. I ordered Steak and Eggs. The steak was overcooked and a struggle to cut with a butter knife. The server finally brought out steak knives along with salt and pepper (great dine my overcooked steak could use some seasoning). I was brought out TWO pepper shakers. No salt! The server never stopped by to check if everything was OK even though she was at the table next to us. Crowded, overpriced, poor service and mediocre food. For me this was another One and Done dining experience. So many other wonderful Disney dining choices.

This is one of my favorite restaurants to eat at when I come to Disney. The restaurant is beautiful itself and has amazing views of Epcot. When it's time for the fireworks, there's a really nice terrace with seating to go out and watch! The food is outstanding, I try and get something different every time I go but most of the time settle for the bouillabaisse. Drinks are amazing as well. It's higher in price but you definitely pay for the quality of the food. The staff is AMAZING, and go above and beyond. My family and I went for my birthday, my one year old made a mess and our server brought his little bib and reusable dish to the back and washed it for us. Everything is outstanding! I added some pictures from a recent trip, stuffed fish and Cesar salad
Best Disney Meal!!!
Best food and service of all Disney restaurants!!!! They cater to food allergies better than than any other restaurant at Disney, offer free view of EPCOT fireworks view, and a super knowledgeable and caring staff. And the food is AMAZING!
Great character breakfast
Excellent character breakfast. The food is good. The characters are great. The atmosphere is wonderful. The Riviera resort is beautiful. Highly recommend.
Our vacation dining highlight!
If you want a superb dining experience, choose this restaurant when visiting Walt Disney World. From the ambiance, service, views of the fireworks, and taste of the food you won’t be disappointed. Sami our waiter took great care of us! He brought us champagne before ordering when asked if we were celebrating anything and mentioning it was our anniversary. We ordered the gnocchi, filet, rigatoni and Brussel sprouts and each dish had a lot of flavor. For dessert we ordered the crème brûlée and the chocolate cake. Both were delicious. As for cocktails the old fashion and pomegranate were outstanding in our opinion. The outside terrace was closed due to rain but opened up just in time for the firework show. Sami said he’d have our entree delivered after the show which we thought was so sweet. The fireworks Soundtrack played while the show was going on, was truly magical! Thank you to chef Chris and staff for a wonderful dining experience we’ll never forget!
Great time at the Riviera
We are DVC members for over 30 years, so we have been to many of the restaurants in Walt Disney World. We have been to Topolino’s a number of times over the last few years. Each time the food and service has been exceptional. Some of our favorites are the gnocchi, sea scallops, filet mignon, the bouillabaisse and the crème brûlée. Everything there is delicious. I highly recommend for a special occasion. It is expensive but well worth it.
Love the characters
Visited for breakfast to see the characters with my 12 year old twins. It is very hard to get a reservation here so check often. We love the place. You open your wallet for breakfast food but you can skip waiting in line at the parks to see a few characters. Service and food are great. Characters come to your table to interact, sign autographs, and take photos. You can jump on the Skyliner and head to Epcot or Hollywood Studios from here as well. The more strict dress code only seems to apply at dinner.
Sweet experience
Came here for the character breakfast, absolutely loved it! There are 4 characters; Mickey, Minnie, Donald & Daisy each with Riviera clothing. It’s a really sweet experience for young children as each character comes round to your table in turn for a good amount of time. Every so often there is a song and dance done by the characters which interrupts the meet and greet and then go for a short 5 minute break but they return to the last table they were at and our server made sure we had our turn with each character. It’s worth taking a look out on the terrace after you’ve eaten to take in the true scale of the WDW resort where you can see most parks in the distance. The food is very good, only thing not recommended by our family were the eggs served fried. The unlimited POG juice is very welcome and the best juice in the world! The resort is best reached via the Skyliner from adjacent resorts or parks. Overall a very pleasing experience but expensive so is definitely a treat!
Wonderful meal
We hadn’t eaten in this hotel before and our friends had told us how good it was so we were pleased to be able to get a reservation for a sensible time on a Friday night. We arrived by car and were able to park quite close to the hotel once having proved that we had a dinner reservation. The restaurant is on the top floor with a great view over the Disney park area. The restaurant is large and tables reasonably well spaced. Its decor wasn’t particularly themed but felt classy. Our waiter was very good throughout the meal and helped us have an excellent evening. We ordered drinks and they arrived quickly along with some excellent bread and some super olive oil. We decided to go for a main course and dessert so skipped the appetisers. As in other Disney restaurants the menu isn’t long but there were enough great dishes to select from. I chose the lamb shank and my wife the scallops. Both were great - I asked for it to come with mashed potatoes rather than polenta and it was beautifully cooked. The scallops we cooked just right and although there were only 4 on the squash risotto they were large so it was quite a filling dish. The dessert menu is only 3 items plus ice cream so that was a shame but we both found an excellent dish out of the 3 - me the crème brûlée and my wife the chocolate cake (or chocolate fondant as we call it in the UK). Didn’t want the meal to finish but all great things have to come to an end! As you would imagine as a signature Disney restaurant it isn’t cheap but we did believe that it was worth the money. Hope we can return one day!
Best Rigatoni Ever!
Fantastic spot for a late EPCOT area dinner .. .. The staff was nice enough to give our party of 13 a cozy, semi-private corner .. .. Had a lovely mocktail before digging in to their homemade RIGATONI and I do believe it was the best I've had .. .. Luscious .. .. As we had a late dinner, our lovely server TAYLOR let us take our time so we could enjoy EPCOTs fireworks from their balcony .. .. Dinner was terrific and leisurely .. .. THANKS TAYLOR!!
A favorite of ours at Walt Disney Worl
One of our favorite restaurants at Walt Disney World is located at the top of Disney’s Riviera resort. We have eaten there several times and never have been disappointed. We had a 3 course dinner and a total of 3 drinks and 2 specialty coffees. My daughter had Dover sole which is difficult to find and I had the lamb shank. I was told that this is the second most difficult reservation to get at WDW. In addition, it does have an outside terrace for drinks, etc. which offers the best views of the fireworks at EPCOT. The bar drink menu is more than adequate. It is fine dining and the cost was a bit over $120 per person at the end.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
